Paradise had absolutely no idea where she was. Not that it really mattered. She hadn't headed out those days ago for anywhere in particular, just to see what was out there. And there was a lot of out there to see, although not all of it had been very interesting.
She'd finished passing some rather arid country the day before and now she was somewhere with... lots of grass. Lots of really long grass. It was really very pretty, and watching it blow in the wind was relaxing. She wasn't relaxing at the moment though, stalking some small rodent or other through the plantlife as she was. Mmm. A snack between breakfast and lunch.
A quick dash and pounce later and she had it... floof ended tail and all. She didn't know what it was... it looked like a cross between a rabbit and a mouse... but it tasted all right. Burp. She stretched out in the luxurious grass and decided to take a load off for a while before she continued on.((Is that all right?))

Now to head out for his own time off, enjoying nothing but nature in all it's glory! Ronan grinned at the thought, having been thirsting for it in soo long. The only reason he had stayed in Realm was for Setsumi's sake. Now that she was ready to move on, so to say, he was eager to stretch his legs and travel. But where to? A look passable for seriousness crossed Ronan's face, the male just watching the grass sway.
Well, it was a start. There was still much land to revisit beyond the grass and sand. "Heh, just like old time." Memories of herds and colors crossed his vision, before he shook his head. Let's move forward, shall we? With almost too much energy, Ronan tread into the tall field of grass. Perhaps he should head for the beach again? There was enough time to head there, then u-turn back towards t...
His chain of thoughts were snipped as he tripped suddenly. "What the?" Had he been staring off at the clouds again? With pursed maw and raised brow, Ronan turned to see what bump had tripped him. What he spyed was nothing he had expected, leaving him dumbstruck.just fine. ^__^

Paradise had her eyes closed off in lalaland somewhere when she felt a couple of paws kick her side and someone tumbled over her. She opened her eyes and lifted her head, startled, to spy... Holy crap. She wasn't expecting to run into him.
"Well... it's nice to see you. Though I think my ribs might disagree..." She drawled the last part in an amused tone. "Fancy that, I decide to take my own trip and... here you are. Huh." She wasn't sure if she was more surprised or pleased. ...It was odd almost being tall enough to be on eye level with him. o.0

The retired fighter continued to stare at Paradise, as if she was some looney. He knew that pelt, but had that much time passed? Maybe he had soaked up too much sun, and it melted his brain. Closing his hanging jaw, Ronan shook his head and stood. "Well bloody hell, you chose a nice place to just roll over." He chuckled light heartedly, tilting his head. "Sorry about that kid. Well, you're not a kid anymore. Congratulations." His voice laced with humor and a grin on his face. A paw reached out to poke at her nose. "Really? And what would you be doing way out here? Not lost, are we?"

She righted herself and snorted at him, her own grin coming into view. "And you chose a great place to forget to look where you're going." She puffed up a bit at the congratulations. "Yeah... Kinda nice not to have to look up when I talk to people anymore." She shrugged and rubbed her nose after he poked it. "And I'm not lost... well, I dunno, maybe I am, but I don't think you can technically get lost when you're not going anywhere in particular. I just decided I wanted to see what was beyond Realm, and I figured since I'm grown now it was as good a time as any."

"My bad." The striped male gave a genuine grin and turned back to his path. Tails twitched an invite to follow along. Why not chat with the now grown kid, might prove interesting. "At least your neck won't be sore anymore." Why was it so much easier to talk to others once they were of age? Hm, perhaps cause it didn't hurt his neck either looking down? His ears stood tall as she spoke. "I know, isn't it great? No worries of where or when you'll end up; true freedom." And now he was finally back in it's glory.

Paradise snorted softly in amusement again, grin still in place, and trotted after him at his invitation. She probably would have followed him anyway, like she always seemed to do. She'd wondered why that was, really, but she had a feeling it was because he was the one person she really got. She understood what he was talking about when he said something, and he had the same sort of humor. It was company she could enjoy without the headache of trying to figure out what the hell they were thinking and trying to say.
"I'm still pretty new to it, I just left a few days ago, but I definitely like it so far. Is this the sort of thing you did before you got to Realm?" She could't imagine why he'd want to give it up if he had, but... people have their reasons. Maybe it had to do with his friend Setsumi and her son? They'd have to be pretty good friends then... at least someone would have to be a pretty good friend for her to give something like this up. Sure she planned to drop back by once in a while but she had no intention of just staying around like she had before after this.
"Oh... I did manage to make a friend while you were gone, before I left. Timid girl, Nahanni. Said she knew you, and her family was trying to make the two of you socialize." The amusement in her tone indicated exactly how much chance that plan had had of working. "Had an interesting conversation, actually. One of the better ones I've had with anyone. And I also almost killed by a guy that was flinging little knives around trying to hit a rabbit. I gave him the benefit of the doubt at first but he really did turn out to be an a** so I told him off."
And why tell him? She felt like it. He was her buddy, right? Why shouldn't she tell him? He'd told her to go try and make a friend while he was gone anyway. And the other... eh, it was the most exciting thing that had happened to her so far.

Her own eager energy seemed to flow through him, and the grassy field didn't look so dull anymore. He was surprised to see the once-youth grown with such personality. Before she had seemed unsure of anything, for her own stand point and others. Nothing but confidence. And now? Well, at least she was following along smoothly with his humor.
He listened intently, slightly grateful that he didn't have to slow his pace for shorter legs. He nodded to her first question. "All the time. Of course I had Setsumi though with me in the travels. Realm was the only location we had stayed at for so long." That was the only moment that time seemed to stand still, to the point of driving one mad. The male glanced at his surroundings once more, watching his step. He enjoyed to be out and walking whenever he wanted.
"Oh, so you completed that little task?" And she had made more than one friend, in such....strange manners. His white gaze seemed to widen at the memory of the kit he had babysat. "Ah yes, little Nahanni. She was a sweet experience." More just being friendly than actual attempts of socializing. A brow raised at the story of an accidental killing attempt, snickering at her ending. "Geez Dice, you sure have a knack for finding the strange kitsus. Eh, so long as you have fun along the way."

Paradise laughed a bit. "Well, she's not little now. I met her before I finished growing, if not by much, but she was bigger than I was at the time." There were two things about what he said after that which caught her attention. "I met a guy that likes to build robots, too. He seemed to be under the impression he was evil. Didn't really make friends with him, but... he wasn't so bad. A bit confused..." She tilted her head. "And... Dice? I mean... I like it and all, but... Dice? Where did that come from?"

So, quite some time had passed. If Nahanni had grown already..... Ronan raised a brow. "That must mean Ginny's eggs already hatched." Hah, now that would be a good enough reason to visit Realm later. Ugh, but more kits. The male chuckled to himself, imagining Ginny wit hher hands full.
"Like I siad, the strange ones." Robots? Sounded like some adult with a childish hobby. XD Confused seemed to be the perfect word. Ronan paused in his walk, turning white eyes at the bright girl. "Does that surprise you? Just a lazy nickname. But whatever, if you prefer Paradise." And her turned to continue through the grass.

Paradise grinned and trotted up to bat at his tails. "It's fine. I said I liked it didn't I? Just the first time I've gotten a nickname." She trotted a bit to the side to fall into step beside him. "So, what have you been up to?"

His poofy tails didn't bother flinching at the batting. They were used to strange treatment and being ignored already. "Me? Nothing much. Just finished up a group traveling, with a runt and his mate." Ah, the edge of the grass field. Ronan parted the way with his blue paws, his head and ears high and alert. Even so, the grass still tickled across his face. Beyond this little maze of yellow was nothing more than flat prairie. At least there was a nice breeze. "And now, just relaxing some. I guess waiting on Setsumi."

Paradise peeked out beside him at the prairie. "A runt and his mate? Is she a runt to?" Heh. "And relaxing sounds good." Ear flick. "What's Setsumi doing that you have to wait on?" She lowered herself close to the ground and crept forward, eyes and ears on alert. "What's out here, anyway? Do you know?"

"Not a runt, just petite in her own right." It must be a femal/feminine thing. Otherwise she'd be just as impressive in stature as most other winged kitsu. Ronan hummed to herself, almost appearing to have not heard the other. "She's just trying to clear her thoughts. Too much to think about for her." Scanning the praire, he found nothing. Some rabbit holes, and even a family of quails darting in a line away from them. He smirked at Dice's stealth attempts. "Nothing to be cautious of."

Paradise watched the quail run off, wondering how they tasted. She wasn't hungry enough to go find out, but it was something to file away for later. She stood up and shrugged. "Habit, I guess. It's saved me alot of trouble a few times so far." She trotted over to the top of a small knoll of a hill to see if there was anything else visible, but didn't see over much. "And... I can see that. She seemed rather full of thoughts when I ran into her before you guys left."
