Woo! I am so making up for all the years I watched DBZ and other random english dubs without really knowing what they were by going to all the conventions I can find that have and Anime/Sci-Fi/Fantasy theme! I went to Itzakon 6 like three weeks ago, and I already have tickets for A-Kon 16 which is in June! I went to A-Kon 15 last summer with Ash5Rejected and died when I couldn't stay past 6 because of this stupid thing I had to go to... So this year, I've got a three day pass and I'm going all out with my costume! I'm going as Sun Ce from Dynasty Warriors 3! It's gonna be so great! But yeah... It's crazy how many conventions are held in the Dallas/Fort Worth area! I guess it's because of the recording studios over in Fort Worth and Houston... I think there is one in Dallas but I'm not sure... How many other people go to conventions? What conventions have you been to? And any other random convention-related questions you can think of that I'm too lazy to type or just can't fathom...

What conventions have I been to? ---->I've been to like 3 Star Trek conventions cuz my sister and brother are Trekkies xd , rock/jewelry conventions((cuz of my sister again)), and plenty of quilt conventions because my mum owns a quilt store and I usually have to help with those damn things...but I get 'paid' for it xd
So in conclusion, I haven't been to any conventions that were really spectacular

Star Trek conventions... That actually sounds kind of fun... But I'm just weird... I like Star Wars better anywayz... Rawr... I want to go to the big, BIG conventions in California... Damn Arnold gets all the fun... scream domokun

I've never had enough zeal to go to a convention of any sort. A couple strange concerts that seemed like conventions but thats about it. Nothing with a 'theme' or 'point'.

I'm an up-and-comer in the anime world so i hooked up with Techno a few years back, that's what started my anime enthusiasm after watching DBZ and random Cartoon Network anime shows, and bought my 3-day pass to A-kon 16. I missed going to Itzakon 6 with Techno on school technicalities, so, yeah...

Dragon Con is a huge fanasty, Scifi, Anime, Comic ....etc Con in Altanta GA.It's great for people watching and stuff. Chicks in coslay, well really alot of people in it. You got Klingons, and Strom Troopers...lost of contest and larps, tabletop games...art shows, I think film contest, Gwar usually played, I think Tool played once...hmmm its really a fan girl/boy wet dream come true. blaugh
