((This RP thread is based off the ACC Auction/Rehoming event, everyone is welcome to come and RP! ^_^))
Taelia was nervous about today, a couple days ago, she had received a letter from the adoption center that said she had been chosen as the guardian of the boy who was in the star-fruit shaped pendant. It seemed his name was Riku, and she hoped that there would be more information about him when she went to pick up the pendant.
At the moment, Taelia was standing inside the adoption center, she had the envelope with the letter, and her ID (just in case), along with other useful things in a backpack on her back.
There were a lot of people milling about the center, and it was hard to tell who was working, and who was just visiting. Taelia wondered how many other people were picking up children or pendants.

A brown skinned girl sighed softly as she leaned against a wall near the center's enterance. Her name was Saturn and she too had received a letter informing her that she had been chosen as a guardian and received a golden necklence pendent containing a young girl named Hotaru Tomoe a few weeks ago. "Hmm...must be a newbie" She thought to herself as she observed the girl's 'lost' facial expression before lifting herself up off the all and walking over to the unknown girl. "You need any help?" Saturn sayed in a somewhat plain tone as she crossed her arms and waitied for a reply.

Her name was Saturn and she too had received a letter informing her that she had been chosen as a guardian and received a golden necklence pendent containing a young girl named Hotaru Tomoe a few weeks ago. Taelia nodded, "Yes, ma'am, I got a letter saying that I was accepted as the guardian of Riku, and I wasn't sure what all I needed to do..." She was a little nervous about adopting Riku, she had never taken care of a brother or a sister, or even a pet, and it probably showed, adding to the nervousness of not knowing what to do upon coming to pick up Riku.

Lips parting, a single growl escaped Sasuke as he watched his guardian. The two had decided to pay the centre a visit today and, as usual, Kaiyumi was eager to get there as soon as possible. While Sasuke walked at a rather normal pace along the sidewalk, Kaiyumi pranced quickly ahead of him, twirling and grinning. She looked rather tiny and young, so passerbyers didn't seem surprised by her actions, but many of them stared nevertheless. Embarassed, Sasuke turned his attention elsewhere in an attempt to pretend that he wasn't associated with Kaiyumi in any way.
'Just don't look at her...' He thought to himself, shoving his hands into his pockets. Suddenly, without warning, he walked smack into Kaiyumi, who squeaked in surprise, windmilling her arms in a quick attempt to keep her balance.
After a moment or so, she was steadily back on her feet, and turned to look at Sasuke, who frowned. "Why'd you stop?" He demanded, raising a single brow. In response, the small girl rose a hand, and jerked towards her right. "We're here already! I was just waiting for you, slow poke!"
Turning his gaze, the boy pressed his lips in a thin line, and then sighed. "Hurry up then." Opening the door, he slipped in, Kaiyumi obediently bouncing behind him. Noticing the two girls, Sasuke stepped to the side, allowing Kaiyumi to go in front of him. He was always less eager to talk than his guardian, afterall.
Prancing up to the two, Kaiyumi skidding to a stop directly in front of them, catching what Taelia said. Glancing up from one girl to the other, she grinned. "Heeeello! You two must be new guardians, am I right?" Despite Kaiyumi's age of 15, she honestly resembled a 10 year old, in both size and personality. Then she motioned towards Sasuke, who strode up to the three girls. "Imma Kaiyumi! And this is Sasuke, who I adopted from here."

Turning her attension over to the cheerfully pint-size girl,Saturn replied somewhat softly. "Somewhat right." The teenaged girl said before introducing herself to the two. "I'm Saturn and this here is Hotaru Tomoe." She said as she tapped the golden necklence around her neck before giving the two girls a small smile and turning her attension slightly to the quiet Sasuke behind Kaiyumi. "It's a pleasure to meet you,Sasuke." Saturn said as she observed the young boy from head to toe in a most unnoticeable fashion.

Taelia smiled at Kaiyumi, and nodded, "Yes, I was chosen to take care of Riku." She smiled, "It's nice to meet you Kaiyumi and Sasuke, my name is Taelia!"

Tilting her head to the side, the girl clapped her hands together once. "It's nice to meet you, Saturn, Taelia!" Then, she moved forward a little to wave at the necklace Saturn wore, as if Hotaru could see her. "Hi hi, Hotaru!"
Looking up as he was addressed, Sasuke gave a small nod to both girls. "Likewise." He replied, shortly. This was accompanied by another polite nod, when Kai glanced at him with a frown.
Cheerfully, Kai bounced behind Sasuke, taking his shoulders and pushing him up. "Oh! When your pendants are kids, they should play with Sasuke someday! Maybe he could babysit if you were busy." She offered, not noticing a deep grimace on Sasuke's face.

Taelia smiled, "Thanks, Kaiyumi and Saskuke!" She laughed, "Having all the kids play together sounds like a great idea! Though, making Sasuke babysit doesn't really seem fair to him..." She had seen the frown on his face, and knew he wouldn't enjoy it.

Saturn chuckled slightly as Kaiyumi greeted the inanimate Hotaru. "I'm sure that she is happy to meet you too." She sayed in a somewhat plain sounding tone before turning her attension to the somewaht grim looking Sasuke. "Yeah,I agree with Taelia. he would probably like to interact with those of his own age."

Taelia nodded in agreement, but remained silent. She was still nervous about adopting Riku. In some ways, she wondered if she would be any good at taking care of a little kid.

Blinking, as craning her neck so she could see her child's face, Kaiyumi sighed at the grimace that was planted on it. "I supppppppose." She sighed, grudgingly. "But Sasuke never likes to talk to anyone his own age either." Reaching up, she ruffled his hair, earning a glare from the boy.
"I just prefer being alone, is all." He muttered in defense, running his fingers through his hair to fix it. "I rarely get any time alone at home." Indeed, Kaiyumi's home was a zoo. With various people and pets that she adopted, it was rather chaotic at times for the tiny, 15 year old girl.

"I know what you mean Sasuke,I like be alone sometimes too becuase silent can be quite relexing for me compared to the usual loud noise I deal with everyday at work." Loud wasn't the word,Saturn worked as an computer specialist in a large stock company where the loud ringing of phones,people,fax machines and others offices sounds that become very annoying quickly.

Taelia shrugged, "Everyone does their own thing, I'm usually alone a lot too." She laughed, "Sasuke, it's quiet at my house, only me, and soon to be Riku, so you could come and hang out if things get too crazy at your place."

Sighing, the boy glanced at the girls, before giving a little shake of his head. "Unfortunately my home is nothing but loud noises and chaos." He grumbled, and which Kaiyumi piped up, "Not true, not true! Our family is -very- well behaved, Sasuke." She scolded, "They helped me watch you when you were a kid!"
At this, flushing at being reminding of his childhood, he glanced at his guardian with a risen brow. "When I said that our home was filled with nothing by noise and chaos, I was talking about -you-."
Kaiyumi drooped. "...Oh."

Saturn turned away as hid a small giggle in response to the young boy telling on his supposely 'loud' guardian. "Well we might as well get you to your new child,Taelia." She said as she turned back around smiling and pointing the young girl into the direction of the adoptions center's front desk,where a young man sat. "I'm sure that he'll be able to help you out will the needed paperwork."
