I'm just wandering, in your own opinion, what age group is good for lolita?
I'm definitly thinking a young child, perferrably under 10, for the cutest affect, but what about teenagers? I'm 13, and I don't think many people are loli at this age. Yet I've seen older teens, and adult loli's that seem to fit the style better because of this.
Your opinion?

Any age is suitable for Loli but the usual is 19 and under and when you start getting a bit older Aristocrat.

-C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
Not really.
It's really any age until you start showing visible signs of aging. Or if you just look too mature.
There are plenty of lolitas who are 15-30 years old. Some of them being older but looking much more younger.

I'm older, I'm 21 and although I love sweet lolita, the classic style does look better on me though no one ever told me I was too old to dress sweet.

I say age doesn't matter as long as you are portraying the lolita look.
Dress me up. Make me up. Doll me up. Hold me tight. Never let me go

I think it matters on a few things more than just your age. Such as:
Your perceived age. - That is, whether or not you look younger than you are. It looks rather silly on old ladies, but if you're forty and don't yet look thirty, go for it [I can vouch for my friend's mom on this--when she turned forty, she seriously still looked to be barely ten years older than her daughter who was twenty].
Your career. - If you have a job that doesn't permit you to wear lolita often, it's probably a good time to either pare down your wardrobe or give it up. Weekend wear is good, but a lot of jobs don't allow that sort of thing either, especially high paying careers like being a financial adviser, doctor or lawyer--you often do have to work on the weekends, even if you don't have hours "scheduled" like some others.
Your lifestyle. - Having a family of your own is of course going to greatly impair your lolita wear in most cases. There are many moms who still wear the fashion, but I think that a lot of them are ... well ... a bit insane. Not in a bad way, really, but in the sense that they have amazing time management and cleaning skills--it's a difficult task to keep a toddler from trying to blow his nose on your shoulder or skirts.
So to sum it all up, I think it's less a matter of your age than where you are in your life at the time combined with how old you look.

I'd think any age is acceptable, as long as the person wearing it looks suitable in whatever style they choose to wear. A 20 year old may choose to wear sweet lolita, and I think it is perfectly fine as someone younger than 10 might be. If a 30 year old chose to wear the same style and looks fit, or youthful enough for it, then I'm fine with it too.

Any age is fine. Though I tend to think teenage years is a good place to start -- seriously, how many 10-year-olds make a conscious decision to be lolita? -- and after that, into you're twenties and thirties, it's fine as long as you look good wearing it.

Well going by the models they use in magazines and such they're ages range from 15-30 and sometimes older so I don't think it matters much.
Although like stated earlier you'll look silly and a little immature running around like that if you look older than you are or something like that. After 30ish they usually move onto aristocrat or something like that with longer skirts.
