He trotted briskly through the woods, weaving around the large trunks. Looking up once in a while to see the location of the sun through the deep emerald canopy. Feeling rather lost in the dense forest he stopped at a small opening to take a breather. Deciding to try and relax he closed his eyes and focused on the sounds around him. The rustling of the leaves, the bugs, and the birds. "Well at least it's not cold here" he spoke out to himself. Opening his eyes once again he decided to look at some of the plants around him before continuing on.

The small skunk coloured mare was taking a leisurely walk through the forest in search of her favourite seasonal treat, blackberries. She had learned as a filly how to properly pick them without getting stuck. If her two-legger wanted any, why she'd have to pick them herself. Her sapphire eyes scanned the shrubs and bushes for signs of birds or anything that might give them away. A soft smile slipped onto her face as she noticed a few wrens picking at something on a bush a little way up the path. She trotted over and looked to the birds. "I won't hurt you." She told them before they made a wide space for her. She carefully lipped a berry, chewing it slowly; savouring it as the juice ran down her throat. Her ears twitched hapilly as she continued to snack.

Scanning the canopy he prepared to leave the area he was in. After taking a few steps he spotted something that was a combination of black and white. 'A Skunk' he wondered 'I thought they would be out more often at night... and a big one.' Curiousity as always managed to get the hang of him and wandered closer towards the skunk. After moving closer, he realized he wasn't looking at a skunk but a Soquili...or was it. This stranger looked like an adult but was smaller then the others. He realized that she was enjoying some berries that were in the bush in front of her. Maybe it was a Usdia, he heard about them once before. "Excuse me..." he called out hoping he wouldn't startle her "...are you by any chance a Usdia?"

The birds flew away, as if for their lives and the mare looked up and towards the very large male. His appearance startled her somewhat but he certainly wasn't a kalona, and that put her mind at ease. "Y-Yeah I-I'm a Usdia." She told him, her baritone voice tinted with a laid back English accent. It didn't sound quite as formal as someone from London which was what usually came to mind. "M-My name's Flower...w-who might y-y-you be?" She asked, quirking a brow.

"I'm sorry if I have startled you..." he gave a bow and an apologetic look "...your the first usdia that I have met." He listened to her and calmly answered "My name is Entei, and you are?" he noticed the strange and unique accent that she had. She looked exactly like a skunk but she deep blue eyes. He tried to hide his curiosity for now to avoid looking like a threat. 'Though when your that small, I guess everything looks kinda like a threat' he thought to himself.

"N-No worries." She told him with a bright smile. He seemed like a decent enough bloke. A soft chuckle escaped her lips at the mention of being his first Usdia. "I-I get that a-a lot." She told him good naturedly. "I-I've only e-ever met one other l-like me." She explained. "S'a p-pleasure to meet y-y-you Entei, I'm F-Flower." She said with a light dip of her head. She wondered if he hadn't caught it the first time. Ah well, he was probably preoccupied with other things. He seemed to be a very important stallion, or at least that's how he came across to her. "S-So what brings y-you t-to the forest Entei?" She asked.

'So there must not be that many' he though to himself. He was now feeling rather lucky from the find. He smiled at her "Flower... that's a pretty name" it seemed to match her peronality alot, though he did find it amusing with her skunk pattern. "I came here to explore, and meet some new faces" he happily explained. He walked around her at steady walk, admiring her. "Do you live in the forest?" he decided to ask.

The mare's cheeks tinted slightly at the compliment. She wasn't used to them. "T-Thank-you." She told him with a nod. She tried to resist the urge to follow him with her gaze. It unnerved her slightly but she didn't show it. 'He's just getting a good look...you're the first Usdia he's met so he's probably just curious.' She reminded herself, the soft smile never once leaving her face. "Y-Yes, I l-live in a clearing n-not too far f-from here." She explained. He certainly was a polite one. But then again most of the Soquili she had met since leaving her old home had been nothing more than pleasant. "Where d-do you c-call home?" She asked, pegging him to live in the mountains for some reason.

Finally stopping to was quite happy to have met her. 'Very polite' he smiled happy to have come across her. "Me, I haven't really found a home yet" he grinned sheepishly "I tend to travel alot, but I enjoy being in open spaces like meadows and mounains." He paused to wonder what else he should add "In forests" he laughed a bit "I tend to get lost rather easily... like now."

The mare chuckled softly. "Well w-would you like an e-escort out?" She asked, finding the question and mental image amusing. "I'm s-sure such a powerful s-stallion such as yourself really does f-fancy more moving room." She added. "So have y-you met anyone interesting?" She asked. "I-It must be just l-lovely to travel." She mused, smiling. The mare hadn't covered much ground in her wanderings due to her stature, she was expected home every night before nightfall lest she fall prey or big cats, Kalonas, or Skinwalkers. After all, there was only so much a Usdia could do to protect herself.

He smile grew as she asked about the escort "I would very much indeed like an escort out, please." He looked around "More space would be quite nice" helaughed the paused to explain "It is lovely, you don't know who your going to meet, and you get to discover different types of land. As for meeting anyone interesting I've met a few mares and another stallion. How about yourself?" He gave her a questioning look.

She began to walk at leisurely gait, when he would start walking she'd pick up the pace to match his. "Oh w-well I've m-met quite a few others." She said. "The h-highlights are a k-kalona, a rather u-uppity, e-egotistical and rude mare, a colourful w-wind stallion...h-he's quite a character, and t-there was this r-really sweet and k-kind Usdia. I-I haven't run into a-any of them since b-but the last t-two meetings were q-quite enjoyable." She explained. She began to follow a path a squirrel had made that lead out of the forest. Most Soquili would miss such a thing due to their high vantage point.

"You've met a Kalona" he looked at her with a surprised expression on his face "and a wind." 'What a lucky mare' he wondered if he would one day meet any. He kept close to her and followed her along the path "A hidden pass?" he questioned.

"Y-Yes a k-kalona...and I barely escaped with my life." She said. "But a-all that matters i-is t-that I did I suppose." She said with a smile. When he mentioned hidden passages she arched a brow. "O-Oh no, not hidden p-p-per se. Merely h-hard for s-someone of y-your stature to notice." She explained. The mare glanced up to him as she walked.
