Okay. So I got my cheek peirced yesterday, and it looked really cool and stuff. I mean, I'm punk, and a cheek peircing IS original punk. How could I go wrong, right? Well it turns out that I am allergic to any metal but pure silver and gold and such. Well, safety pins are not usually made out of pure silver or gold, and I have found that out the hard way. I slept with it in and... well.. It's like I have a golfball in my freaking mouth. My friends insist that I am overreacting, but it is seriously the most horrible thing that has happened to me since...I don't know. But it is really terrible. FAILURE FAILURE FAILURE.

This is about two hours ago.

I am fine now, thank goodness. It's just a tiny scab, although there is a gaping hole on the INside of my cheek. It's really weird.

A random gaping hole in your cheek? Or a piercing gone awry? Or a scab on your cheek?

A fish? I liked that peircing, thank you... But I got a mohawk to make up for it...Haha, it's fabulous.

Wow. Of all the things I've ever thought about putting through my cheek, a safety pin was not on that list. I really hope it doesn't get infected!

Try a small silver stud, it would look better with your face. (and catch on less things while you wait for the hole to heal into permanency. A new piercing getting ripped by accident is even worse than an allergic reaction. )
