Hmmm, I don't know. Fantasy is awesome but then you get those brilliant Sci-fi stories- like Isaac Asimov's writing. I personally haven't read any of it but my brother keeps saying I should read his 'Foundation' books.

i'm more into fantasy and stories with the middle ages as setting, i'm not too keen on futuristic stories...but Isaac Asimov's are great (the few ones i've read)

Dark Lord M I CAN'T CHOOSE. D: You're evil for making this topic. Yup. Actually, sci-fi is a close second with me. But I think you can tell who likes which more because some got the fantasy tome while others went for the sci-fi plasma gear. I thought making a bunch of topics would enliven the guild--I think it might have worked.

I prefer fantasy, though if I catch a science fiction movie/book that sounds interesting I have no qualms picking it up. I just don't go out of my way for it like I do for fantasy.

I read somewhere that girls tend to prefer fantasy while guys like sci-fi better. I wonder if this is really true.
