I was hoping someone would post a thread about this! They're so cool! (And I've got to admit, the animal adders are just adorable, too.)
I had already purchased an August letter--now I've got to go see if I can equip two at once. If I can, then like Fairgrass, I'm going to have to watch and hope the prices go down in the Marketplace.

As much as I love this new item, I still like the reguler books on the avatars
the Tome is to big and ends up covering up to much <.<

I got so excited when I saw that is was books this month. Then I equipped mine and either an item of clothing showed through the book, or it just covered too much. I was angry for a bit, but then I decided that dragons are cool, too.

it was a toss up for me...the tome of summoning powerful dragons...or lightsabers...well as you can see my avatar clearly is strong in the Force! Anybody else find any other book related stuff besides the bookshelves?

The Summoning Tomes are great but I agree, they do seem a bit large and clunky.

Darth_Magus1 it was a toss up for me...the tome of summoning powerful dragons...or lightsabers...well as you can see my avatar clearly is strong in the Force! Anybody else find any other book related stuff besides the bookshelves? Be nice, wouldn't it? You can't even put anything on the bookshelves, like you can with a table. I've got the framed art ("Curiosity Never Hurt This Cat"), and that's about all I've found.

I just put my books on the individual shelves. I don't even have bookshelves in my Gaia house, because they just look silly without any books.
