Tenchi Masaki was just a normal Japanese high school student. he went to school. he worked at his grandfathers shrine he lived with his dad nothing special. But his world is flipped upside down as he learns of his family's orgin and finds six crazy alien women living under his roof ready to kill each other over him. there are three different versions each slightly different from the a spin off series a 4 episode spin off ova and 3 movies.

universe is good, ry-oh-ki is the best version but the third series Tenchi in Tokyo wasn't all that great to be honest

things is though if you've only seen the Toonami version you have not seen Tenchi in its true nature. the uncut Japanese version is so unbelievably great and even more funny

I can barely remember when Tenchi Muyo was on Toonami, let alone what the voices sounded like. >< I think I only remember how Ryo-oki's voice sounded and Ryoko's "Tenchiiiiiiii" whiney voice... ^^;;;
