I played it four times last night with the fourth being played while on a high definition plasma television, and I think it's the most beautiful yet creepy looking XBox 360 game ever made. The lighting, the frame rate, the colors, the AI...it was all seemingly perfect.
The game play was really fun as well. There were only three weapons to play with (wrench, revolver, and tommy gun), but there were also two plasmids to try out (the electric and fire ones), and the combinations were fun to try out. You could also hack the bots so that they fired at the enemies instead of you.
Sadly, there were no Big Daddy fights in this one (though there is a cool scene of a Big Daddy owning a Splicer), and there's no focus zoom for the weapons, but that's all minor detailing. The one major complaint I had was that it was only a demo and not the full version.
I wasn't sure about getting it at first, but after playing this demo, I am definitely buying it...i'll probably end up getting the limited edition version!
So what did you guys think of it? Good? Great? Awesome? And if you have XBox Live, but haven't played it...what the hell's wrong with you? xd

I wasn't sure about this game until i seen my boyfriend playing the demo. The graphics are amazing!!!
I am going to try the demo here shortly.

I thought the demo was great. I was really impressed how alive rapture was. I always thought that it would just be filled with mindless zombies just moaning and walking about. but each of the bad guys had a little bit of character that added to the environment of the game, and should make the whole morality thing more believable

Its looks pretty dumb to me...If anyone wishes to buy it before me and tell me how long it is i might reconsider. No freaking leg physics wtf.

I cant wait for this game. It looks so amazing and detailed. Replayability is high on it too, which is great for being an FPS. I'll be playing this and Blue Dragon alot this year.

I cannot wait for Bioshock to come out, I was eagerly anticipating it from the beginning but the demo just blew me away, it took me about five minutes just to recover from seeing the water for the first time after the crash, it looks incredible, it plays incredibly well and I'm already intrigued by the storyline I just cant wait for it to come out.

The main storyline itself is supposed to be around 20 hours, but there are also sidelines and secret areas that'll add more time to it. And really, the game is nearly perfect in the graphics department and you're gonna complain about leg physics? No offense, but that sounds pretty picky to me.
