The day was fairly over cast, but the promises of the sun appearing warmed the hearts of most Ulaya who found the grey clouds drab and deary. But if one moved to the north and then side stepped to the west, that one would find a small brightly lit garden full of fragrant flowers and fruiting trees. The neon and pastel flowers mixed to make a scene that might had been an art work brought alive my magic, but the garden had a wild look to it. As if it had not been pruned or taken care of recently, the fruit trees were over producing and their leaves where scattered all over the garden, lining the paths and making a bed around the bases of their trunks. Chaos in peace....
Two pairs of slitted eyes, one crisp blue while the other golden yellow, appeared to be floating within the depths of an apple tree's foliage. It would appear plant life was not the only thing alive in this slice of tranquility...

A petite brown ulaya with a long bushy tail made her way, silently, through the tall grasses and sighted. With a hopeful glance upwards, wishes of sunnier days echoed in her mind, as she trudged here and there, with no particular destination in her thoughts.
A flowery fragrance hit her sensitive senses, and the sound of tall trees rustling in the wind made her ears perk. What a delightful smell! A puzzled expression on her face, the female sniffed her way to the source of the smell, and was met with a grand garden. Never having seen anything like it, her eyes grew big, and she let out a silent gasp. Her black eyes twinkled in delight at the sight, and she slowly made her way in, mesmerized with the beauty of it all, failing to noticing the inhabitant's watchful eyes.

The two pairs of eyes shifted slightly to watch the small brown female enter the garden through the east arch, and began to wonder through the garden. A small hiss excaped the smaller snake as she followed the female's trek through the subtle garden, but was silenced as the male of the two gently prodded her. Picking himself up, the Snake like Ulaya dropped gracefully to the lowest branch of the tree with little noise accompaning his descent. Draping a leg over the edge of said branch, Sinent continued to watch the female through taste and sight.

Deeply intoxicated by the smells and sights the heavenly garden provided her, the female ulaya almost didn't pick up on the slightly different sound of rustling. Ears perked, she glanced around in alarm. That hadn't just been the wind.
Scanning the area, she found nothing out of place. Turning around a few times, she wrinkled her brows, and stood completely still, hardly breathing. An intense prickling in the back of her neck alerted her to the fact that she was being watched. But from where?

Smiling slightly, Sinent felt Seris slide off his neck and onto the branch infront of him, altough his eyes were still trained on the female. His green patterned coat made him blend into the leaves of the tree, but most of his body was exposed to sight, so if the female wanted to really see him she'd be able. "Greetingss M'lady to the ssubtle garden."

Eve jumped at the sudden sound coming from behind her. Turning on the spot, she spotted a green ulaya, perched in a tree. Silently berating herself for not spotting him the first time around, she smiled half-heartedly and nodded her head to the ulaya.
"Hello there" she quipped, eyeing the snake that seemed to be one with the ulaya "I didn't mean to intrude on your area. I shall leave at once, if you wish" she definately didn't like that snake. It creeped her out. Her eyes fixed on the movements of the snake, she failed to notice the more extreme of the male's physical features.

Jumping down from the brach to the ground, leaving Seris up in her place, Sinent paused a few feet before the female and bowed. "You are welcome to sstay asss long asss you wissh. Thiss garden iss hidden to mosst sso whoever disscoverss it are allowed to sstay." Pausing, the snake like male smiled slightly and continued. "How rude of me, I am Ssinent M'lady."

Eve's eyed the green ulaya warily as he jumped from his branch in the tree. She had never seen anyone like this green fellow before, but she wasn't one to judge, she decided, as she absentmindedly pawed at her own bushy tail.
Her eyes widened slightly in surprise at hearing the secret of the garden "Hidden?" she wispered. Then why on earth would she of all ulaya's find it? It made no sense. She wasn't anything special. Well, besides her tail and tuft-less ears. Perhaps that was what this was? A garden created especially for those who are different. Voicing her thoughts she answered "It is a pleasure to meet you Sinent" and bowed slightly "I'm Eve... How come I found this area, if its hidden?"

Straightening up so that he could make eye contact again, Sinent smiled at the look upon her face. "I believe you already know the ansswer to your quesstion. Thiss garden can only be sseen by thosse who differ from the normal ssociaty of Ulaya, like children of gods, Ulaya who have different traits and those who simpley think in a specail way. A place and a haven..." Looking down as an apple rolled into his leg, the male picked it up and spun it slightly. "You must differ if you found thiss place..."

Eve couldn't help but snort slightly, as she glanced at her painfully obvious tail. "Yeah, well, I most CERTAINLY differ from the norm" she quibbed sarcastically.
Realizing how rude she was coming off, she bit her toungue and said in a much more calm tone "I'm sorry, I forget my manners. Its very nice to meet you Sinent" she smiled a little smile, for once not being able to produce a full fledged grin.

Squering the apple slightly with one of his claws, Sinent looked from the fruit and back to the female. "Being one of a kind iss not and sshould not be a bad thing. Expecailly one who iss asss beautiful asss the other femaless... if not more." Shrugging and then flicking his snake like tongue, the green patterned male focused his slitted eyes as the sunlight shifted a bit. "Ssome of uss are changed more than otherss." Refering to himself, but leaving the sentance open enough to be meant in other ways, Sinent felt Seris climb her way up his leg and wrap herself around his neck... the apple still in his paw.

Eve blinked a few times, and blushed. Had he just complimented her? "But... I... er..." was all that escaped her lips. It felt as if her tounge had suddenly swelled up in her mouth, and nothing intelligent would be making its way past.
Looking down and making circles on the ground with her paws she quibbed a tentative "Thank you..."
Glancing up, she saw something green move towards Sinent, and was about to warn him as she realized that a snake was coming straight for him, before she realized that perhaps, being Sinent, this was not a thread. As the snake wrapped itself around the male's neck, this theory was confirmed, and she raised an eyebrow at the peculiar sight, a silent question in her eyes.
