 Farfalla went cross eyed as one of her glowing orbs floated infront of her face, she brushed it away with her paw. Farfalla was lieing on her back, staring at the sky, identifying the shapes of the clouds. She got up, sand was starting to embed itself into her fur. She shook some of it off and looked around, it was a beach. How'd I get here again...? Farfalla must have been walking in a random direction for a long tome thinking about... well, random things really. Farfalla looked at all the sand, not a blade of grass in sight. She turned around, there was a grass feild behind her though and even farther a forest.

 Takehiko fought his way through the grass, irritated at the uneven ground and the taller patches that stuck up his nose and made him sneeze. However, he trudged along and found relief in the sand. He sighed in happiness as the sand stuck between his toes. However, his eye was truely caught by a white female, and the shining things around her. He approached her catiously, wondering what it was that caused the strange anomolies.

Farfalla normally would be oblivious to the other as she is to everyone but she was trying to be a hunter now and since the wind was blowing over the other's scent she actually noticed him. She turned her head towards him. "Oh! Hi there!" She rushed over to the other, the sand felt fun as it squished between her toes even though she felt a tad uncomfortable because she wasnt use to that. What are those starnge brown things on his back...? Farfalla tilted her head to the side, smiling as always.

Take stared at the orbs as they flew in front of her face, and blushed slightly as he looked into her eyes. His wings fluttered nervously and tensed as he was embarrased, but he still wanted to know what on earth it was that made the orbs. He took a small step forward as one drifted towards him. His small tail fluffed as it went back to circling the female. "Oh, I'm Takehiko. Or Take for short. Its nice to meet you." He said, nodding his respect to her.

"I'm Farfalla!" She nodded as well, not exactly knowing what that meant. She took a clower inspection of the things on his back as well, they were wings. "Nice wings!" Farfalla winked, "can you fly with them?" Farfalla always wondered what it would be like to fly, breeze ruffling against your fur and clouds... what were they like? Mom told her they were something-vaded water but they didnt look like water, more like cotton. Farfalla noticed another thing different about Take, his tail. It was stub-like, the only tails she knew was ones like her own and a long slender one that her mom once decribed to her. As you can see her mom tells her most of the things she knows.

Take grinned from the compliment. "Its more like gliding, where I go fast for a little, then kick off and if I hop, its almost like flying. But not terribly high if thats what you ment." He said, and became somewhat somber as he thought. Was it worse for those who wanted to fly, but had no wings, or for those who had wings but chouldn't go to the distance they so desired? He sighed and his stubby tail twitched involuntarily again.

"Cool! Wanna show me?" Farfalla wanted to see what it was like for an ulaya to fly, was it like a bird or more like a butterfly? The ocean breeze smelt and felt nice, did wind help them fly? Farfalla had many questions, but through her life she learned not to ask all of them at once, he mom once told her if you ask too many questions the other person's head will explode, Farfalla didnt beleive her but she didnt want to see if it was true or not, esspecially when she has a white pelt.

Take smiled and puffed with pride, "Sure!" He exclaimed as he took several paces back and began to run. After working up enough speed, he pounced from the ground and with several beats from his leathery wings, he managed to glide about a foot off the ground for several yards until he touched down softly and looked back to Farfalla. Smiling and beaming at his feat. He walked back to her with a spring in his step, curious to see what she thought of it.

"Thats amazing!" Farfalla smile turned into a mischevous grin. She knew she was not able to pull it off. Farfalla began to run foreward like he had, building up speed, but when she pounced after being in the air for a moment she fell back down like a rock Landing on her stomach, thank goodness for sand. "Ow..." She got up and shook it off. "Heh heh heh..." Farfalla blushed, embarressed, as she laughed.

Take smiled at Farfalla. She was a cute girl and was quite bubbly. He blushed too and laughed with her softly. "Maybe if you flail alot when you jump you'll get more distance," he suggested jokingly, hopeful she'd get it and not try it only to wind up injured. The air blew cool mist and it made her orbs even more radiant when the sun hit them too. He thought for a moment, thinking it could be his turn to ask a question. "What are those orb things around you, I just can't figure them out!"

"Oh... these?" She pointed at the glowing, flaoting orbs. "I glow!" She said with a smile. "My dad glows so that why I do too!" She was very fond of her parents, almost every hour of her life had some connection to them, or she was refferring to them. A sphere floated infront of her, she used her paws to try and squash it but when she pulled her paws away it was completley fine, it was pretty much just a ball of light. "See?"

Take smiled again. It sounded like she had very interesting parents. Interesting enough that he might want to meet them one day to see Farfalla's glowing father. Takehiko's mind wandered for a bit, and as an orb came closer to him, he snapped at it, hoping to catch it in his mouth, but dissapointingly, he missed. Take's face turned to a pout as the light continued to evade him.

Farfalla laughed as Take tried to catch one. "I've been trying since I was a kit, trust me, its impossible," Farfalla winked. "So... is there anything you wanna do?" Farfalla looked at the beach, it wasnt very lively esspecially since they were the only ones there, so she didnt want to do anything insane, a walk against the shore line talking would be nice, it was fitting for this calm setting.

Take looked at Farfalla out of one eye. "Hmmm...." he paused, "Perhaps we could take a walk down the beach? Its a very nice day and I'm sure it would be very relaxing." He smiled at her and his stubby tail wagged and he began to walk towards the shore, enjoying the sea breeze that swept mist upon him. It was very cool and comfortable.

Farfalla smiled, he knew just waht she was thiking. She trotted after him, watching her feet make footprints that eventually dissapeared as the water swept over them. Not paying attention to where she was going she accidently stepped in some sea foam. "Ew!!!" Farfalla looked at what she had stepped in, "oh..." She expected it to be poo or something.
