I thought we had a thread similar to this already?
Anyways, I don't care for war games. All the Tom Clancy crap... blah... Although multiplayer RS Vegas can be fun.

tangocat777 non-games copies of Nintendo franchises bad mini-games there are some good collections of mini-games, then there are some dreadful ones I think non-games can be quite good. They're good time wasters, they're usually cheap, and my mom will play them. Sudoku, Brain Age, Nintendogs, and soon Wii Fit all buffer out my gaming sessions.

@Arvis_Jaggamar: No that was "What genre should die?"
@tangocat777 & @Sheik026: There are no such things as non-games. Games are games. There are just different types of them.

Okay, I'll be politically correct, I think self-improvement and casual games can be quite good. They're good time wasters, they're usually cheap, and my mom will play them. Sudoku, Brain Age, Nintendogs, and soon Wii Fit all buffer out my gaming sessions.

Games that try to copy famous games and they make a shitty a** copy. All in all "The Copy Genre" or "The Sandbox Genre". I never liked GTA...I find them boring, they usually have great music. All I do is drive pick some up hooker, kill someone. Borrringgg.

It's still a sore spot w/me. sweatdrop @[Xera]: I agree. We don't need copycat games to clutter up the game library.

The last one I got was The Godfather: Blackhand Edition last weeks, I beat it and it was really good. But the last one I bought before that that was not a super hero game was Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for the Xbox. I don't go for Scarface or Total Overdose, but I do enjoy good ones occasionally, especially when the do something contributory towards the genre (Godfather added true business extortion and made a combat system that was both fun, playable, and well-functioned.)

I cannot STAND sports games. I don't care for RTS games because they seem dull. The genre just doesn't seem fun to me. Though I have been informed by my bf that I will play tactics once it hits the psp. I consider barbie games a genre and therfore dislike any game that reminds me of that damn doll.

I don't really like the gameplay style of classic RPG's "Run, screen shatters, stand still and issue commands." It just isn't my cup of tea. I prefer hack and slash games where I go up and start attacking physically instead of choosing a command and I don't really like taking the time to level up. I like a fast-paced game. I'm not putting a downer on anything or anyone. I just personally don't like that type of gameplay and I said why. I didn't say it in a bashing type of way either. I just said it. Please no flaming as I didn't attack it or you. sweatdrop
