 Standing next to a river, Johari admired her reflection as she styled her short head of hair with water and cleaned off her wings. "Oh, Johari, you are so beautiful.." she said to herself. She was so convinced that she was the prettiest malu out there. One of these days though, Johari would have a reality check.
Looking at her nails she realized that it was time for a trim... or more so... filing. Johari took one last glace into the river, gave a cheesy smile to herself and headed off to find a rock that could help a poor girl in this situation. Nails could not wait! Having them grow out too long, then breaking was one of Johari's worse fears.

 Rajani had been watching the purple female for a bit. Watching herself admire herself. What a joke. He rolled his eyes finally and came into view. "Oh Johari, your so beautiful" He said in a mocking voice. "How pathetic are you?" He said in is regular voice as he came closer to the female He wanted to laugh at her, but just couldn't find himself to. He stood there with a straight face.
His wings moved slowly up and down, even though he couldn't use his like she could. He didn't care. His were much better then her's anyways. He flicked his tiny tail. "Get over yourself, will ya. " He finally said.

"Not as pathetic as you flapping those lousy wings..." she grinned, flying back over to him. "Grow some feathers. It might make you fly AND more handsome..."
Johari eyed him. Eww... brown., she thought. What kind of malu is brown? It's the color of dung... She giggled to herself a bit before saying something else. "So what were you doing behind those bushes? Or were you... oh dear I say... admiring me?" she chuckled, deviously. "I'll let you know... I am the most gorgeous malu out there that you will EVER see...", Johari stated, flipping her non-existing mane.

This time, he couldn't contain himself from laughing. "Oh my, I think your quite funny." he said. "admiring you? Only in your dreams." He said with a flick of his tiny wings. "Maybe I can fly with them, but I'd never show you" He said as he turned away.
He looked back at her for a second. "I dear say, your are the ugliest Malu I've ever seen, or will ever see. Purple's not my color." He said finally before starting to walk away. She was too full of her self he could hardly stand her. Why did they have to be like that? It seemed all females where. He flicked his tail more as he walked slowly back towards the bushes he came.

"Where do you think you are going?", she asked, trotting her way after him ever so elegantly. "And may I say.. at least I am not the color of something that comes out of a rear-end. Purple is a LOT more beautiful and probably the best color out there." She said as she batted her eyelashes at him. How could this fool think purple is hidious? He MUST be insane... And Johari was not going to let him leave until he admitted she was infact the most gorgeous malu out there. Everyone told her so, so why couldn't he?

"The only one of us that came out of a rear-end, was you." He said as he watched her trot in front of him. What was this girls problem? couldn't she see that he wasn't interested in her, nor even cared she lived? "And I think I was headed back to my nap." He said in reply to her first question.
" Don't you have more staring at yourself to do?" He asked her with a more irritated tone. Maybe then she'd get to leave him alone, but he didn't think she would.. she's too high on herself, she would try to make him say something like she's so gorgeous, or something similar. He rolled his eyes.

"Technically, we all came out of rear ends, stupid." she smiled, proud of her comback. "Just... some came out more beautiful than others." Johari told the fool, rolling her eyes and prancing in front of him, blocking his path of travel.
"And no. I am done with the portion of my day where I make sure I am flawless, but now I am looking for a rock to file these nails down." Holding out her paw, she showed the male her nails with her lower lip sticking out in a pouty face. "Maybe I could come with you and see if there are any good rocks on the way there!" Johari excitedly announced.

"I'm sorry, but I didn't come out of someone's butt." He said with a smirk. "But, perhaps you can tell me how that feels?" He asked her sheepishly.. The his smile was lost the moment she said she was going to follow him. Why him? Why couldn't she find some overly obsessed male or something.
He frowned. "Or maybe you could go jump in the river and find a nice sharp one with your face?" He said not smiling still.

"Everyone came out of their mother's butt, my fellow malu" she chuckled. "Only a baby wouldn't know that. How stupid are you?"
"Nah, I'd rather come with you. Besides, a rock in my face would ruin my beauty." she told him with a lousy grin. Johari knew this would make him ticked and frankly, none of his words were hurtful to her because she knew he was just jealous.

"I know I didn't come out of a butt. In fact, it was a Ba-Donk-a-dong.." He said to her. "You see, if we came out of someone's butt, then males could have babies to." He paused. "And here I thought you were a female, and would know that stuff."
How annoying. Now he was stuck with her? Well, maybe she'll go away after awhile, get annoyed with him. Or he could roll in some mud and she might run off thing she'll die if she gets dirty. "I think that was the point" He said to her finally.

"I meant that anyways. It's still out of your behind!" She tried to convince him. Although, she knew whatever she said, he would throw something back at her. "Let's just drop that 'butt' subject. I don't want to talk about rear ends anymore."
"Well, you obviously don't get MY point! It would be horrible if my looks were ruined! It would only be fair to give you a makeover if you ever did such a thing to me...", she smirked.

"First of all... I told YOU to jump in the river. I wasn't going to push you." He said looking at her now. " I wouldn't want to touch your hideousness." He was now stopped and thinking of a way to get rid of her. Maybe he could climb a tree, well, that wouldn't work she can fly.
" Do us all a favor, and jump off the earth and let yourself fall." He said again deciding it was useless trying to get away from her. Or at least right now it was useless. Girls, they were so annoying, especially this one. He flicked his wings back and forth and then glared at her.
"If your going to follow me, then don't get lost." He paused. " I won't come looking for you." He said again with a cold hint to it. He began to walk again not really paying attention if she was following him or not. Hoping it was not, but knowing she was going to do so.

"You were probably thinking about pushing me in the river though..." She told him, shooting him a glare. "Maybe I can read minds as a talent along with being beautiful." This guy was a tough nut to crack. He was very stubborn.
Tackling him and pinning him to the ground, she looked him straight in the eyes. "I would never jump off the earth. I would want to stay on it to model my beauty for everyone as an example." More worried about her nails again, she looked down and spread her toes, examining them. She looked back at him and answered his last statement. "Oh I won't." she told him confidently. Even if she was big on her looks, she wasn't stupid. Kicking his leg with one of her hooves meaningfully, yet playfully, she hopped back off of him. "You can take the lead."

He sat there on the ground again. That was the most uncomfortable thing that had happened. Who did she think she was jumping on him. He just smiled and stood up. Even more reason to loose her. "If I had thought about pushing you in the river, I would have done it."
He just turned from her and started walking over to the bushes he was sleeping in. Now he was stuck with her, he couldn't just lounge about with out her getting on his nerves. So, he decided he was going to take her deeper into the wooded area. Maybe scare her a bit and make her run off.

Johari smiled. "Oh, so are you saying you might acually have a nice bone in your body?" This is what she thought anyways, since he just said that he pretty much didn't want to push her in the river. Maybe this guy isn't as tough as he thinks he is..., she thought, smiling inside.
Johari started after him, following him into the bushes. Stopping, she got a crazy idea. She flew back to the river quickly, sucked up as much water as she could to store in her mouth, flew back to the other malu and squirted it right on top of his head.
