A sand colored lioness had just killed a rather large hare and carried it proudly towards a tree that stood nearby a rocky area...Pona was finally near the pridelands and would make her entry towards that pride she had been hearing so much about well after she had her meal of course. She wagged her tail playfully and layed down under the tree to feed...a few smaller predators peeked up from there homes to see if there was something they could get something out of themself..
But Pona would surley not leave anything since it was just a hare but it was enough for her right now. A pair of brown eyes watched the land around her as she feed it sure was quite around here and pretty boring...was it really a large pride around here? since she hadn't seen any of those lions that could belong to this pride witch was strange.
Maybe she would spot one of them later right now she had to feed since she had been feeling pretty hungry latley more then she use to do.

neokitsune Khepri's paws started to trot over the ground as she swished her darker red tail. Her tarnished golden eyes held a degree of weariness as she moved, her liquid-like body seemed to float across the ground slowly, allowing her to move faster than normal. She seemed to be barely moving to anyone that was watching her, but that was the way that Khepri was, she was fine with it.
Hunger rose in her belly suddenly and the lioness lifted her worn out and hollow eyes to peer about her, the smell of blood had been what had sharpened her senses to it, made her want food so desperately. Yet here she was still standing here. Blinking her eyes and starting forward, the lioness followed the scent of the blood across the savannah grounds. She was tired and hungry after having lead Bodaway and Paki to their prespective places. She was headed down towards the ocean now, in search of 'Kota and the rest of her life.
She'd been so scathed to have been rejected from the Ela just for the color of her fur, they were no better than the firekin. Skiving, backstabbing monsters, all of them. Just because she was red colored and larger than most of them they said she was a 'Dark Fire' pride member and had thrown her out forcibly. They were monsters. Here she'd been told that they could help and they'd simply made it worse. The thoughts drifted angrilly through her head and Khepri tried to focus on where her paws were leading to get away from the thoughts. She was so mad. Why did they do this to her?
Stopping when she finally saw the source of the blood, Khepri blinked and dropped her white muzzle a little. "Pona?" She called out calmly. She knew her... someone she knew.

Pona munched on the hare but perked her ears forward when she heard someone was comming...she looked around and spotted something red. Pona had only met one red creature in her whole life and that was Khepri but could that really be here? since what was she doing here of all the places...Pona left the Ela lands by herself since she didn't get much out of it her friend Ona had to stay but she wanted to get something more of life then just staying in one place there it was almost no lions.
And she hoped to find her lost family someday so it had to be somewhere else then in the Ela lands so that was one of the reasons why she was here to find some clues about her old family. Then she tilted her head to the side..." Khepri? is that you? " she called out and let go of her hare for now.
Her stomach had to wait a little more to get some more food.

neokitsune Lifting her head as her name was called out by her old friend, Khepri let a tired smile flit over her white muzle and took a few steps forward to sit down before her goldenrod colored friend. She hadn't seen Pona since she'd left the Ela before her, leaving Khepri there to await the desicion of the elders on whether she could join or whether they could help her at all.
It was good to see her again, really it was. Happiness stole over her slowly as she thought about how long it had been since they'd last met. Months and months really.
"Ah'm glad ta see yo' Pona. 'ow long's it been?" Khepri smiled at Pona, recolecting on how long it was going to be before she ate something now. She couldn't steal food from a friend after all, no matter how hungry she was.

Pona smiled and wagged her tail so it was Khepri after all <3 awww that was great she still didn't think she could meet a friend here not at this place. She got up and walked over to greet her friend she walked up to her and put her nose under her chin and purred happily " Ah well what are you doing here? i haven't seen you since we met in Ela lands "
The hare could lay there it was since she didn't think any of the other animals would steal it they wasn't that stupid with now two liones nearby " Heh so how have you been? you look really tired are you ok? " she raised a brown...her red friend didn't look that ok.

neokitsune Her belly growling, Khepri blushed a little so that her red fur flushed a little darker and she smiled down to lick Pona's nose lightly. "Ah'm fine, realleh. Ah'm jus' tired cuz Ah been doin' nothin' bu' runnin' aroun' for so lon'."
Khepri looked down at her paws for a long moment and saw the ground swirl as she blinked back tired tears. Shed been moving around for so long, all she wanted now was to find a home, but first she had to find Kota, then she would finally find her home.
"Well... Since Ah'm fine... wha're yo' doin' ou' 'ere?" Khepri asked. A smile was on her muzzle as she swished her tail.

Pona blinked oh so her friend was hungry? that just made her walk over to the hare she cought and she took it in her mouth and walked back to Khepri and dumped it infront of her with a smile. The sand colored female licked her lips and sat down again " Ah well eat this if you are hungry i am ok really it was just an extra snack "
Then Pona spotted her tears...awwww that wasn't good at all but she was sure it was the tiredness and the hunger that made her loose everything it usually was. " Ah well i come here to find a home since the Ela lands wasn't that fun anymore~~ but i met a few on the way even a cute boy <3 " she said with a grin on her lips then she started to groom herself to get some blood away from her coat..
" And you then? what have you been up to? "

neokitsune Peering down at the rabbit and thinking that it would be rude but being so hungry anyway, Khepri smiled and nuzled Pona in thanks before ripping into it. Blood oozed over her white muzzle and dowsed it red as she swallowed hunks of meat until there was nothing left. She was so hungry that it didn't entirely help but she smiled at her friend thankfully and settled down on her haunches before the smaller lioness.
"Oh? Yo' met a cutie for yo'self eh?" Khepri said knowingly and winked at her playfully. She hoped that Pona had been happy as she found him. She knew that she was happy with Kota, but she had to find him again. "Well Ah was leadin' some frien's to mah old 'ome an the Pridelands. Bu' now Ah'm lookin fer a special boy mahself." At this she grinned a little softly.

Pona watched her friend eating she indeed was hungry and that hare didn't look enough for her at all...hmm well she had nothing else to offer so she hoped Phepri could go get something herself later but she had no idea how long she was gonna stay..." Ah well it was just a nice young guy nothing that serious we went on this amasing adventure together but ermm that is about it " maybe it sounded sad that it was nothing serious but she tought she was to young to have a serious realashionship but she still had no idea that adventure would include cubs..
" You have someone special? i think my luck will be better at the pridelands i heard there are many boys there <3 " she said happily maybe she would meet someone that would fit her wild heart there?

neokitsune "Ah do 'ave someone special." Khepri said with a knowing smile. "An now Ah'm lookin for 'im." She nodded sagely and stood up slowly. "Well... Ah'm glad yo' 'ad some fun. If yo're looking for the pridelands, they're tha' way." She pointed with a large white paw and smiled down at her friend. She hated having to leave her like this, but even though she missed her she missed Kota more.
Puffing herself up and trying to stay awake, Khepri nodded to Pona. "Ah 'ate ta leave yo' so soon.. bu' Ah gotta leave ta go fin' 'im before Ah tire out too much and jus' give up." Khepri said sadly. "Ah 'ope yo' fin' wha' yo're lookin' for Pona, it was nice meetin' yo again."
With that she turned and trotted off because she really had come to hate saying goodbye... to leave friends behind. To never see them again. But something inside her told her that she'd see Pona again, even if it was a long time... they were friends weren't they? Yeah... she'd see her again.

" Ah well that is great i am sure it must feel special~~ " she said still smiling but she was still a little worried about her red female friend would she be alright? sure she was strong but she looked really tired..." Awww leaving already? i guess you have to but i be here for a while you can come visit me when you have time ok " Life wouldn't either finish of Pona that easy either since she was a surviver that is what her name ment..
She nuzzeld her friend a little before she took a step back and let her go...she had someone she loved right? she was a little jelous but something inside her told her her time would come as well maybe not now but soon..
