Strangely enough, Tawa'di's strength had seemed to return. He did not want to question it, thankful that he had more strength to roam the lands that he loved, but he had an inkling it had to do with Mdhamana. Gods worked in mysterious way, but the intentions of Mana had always eluded him. Old time friends from when he was just coming into his seer powers, he had never let himself question her moves, but merely let them come as they would.

Why question the intentions of a god? They knew much more then what Tawa'di would ever know, being a nvwati and seer himself.

He had kept up with his habit of wandering the lands, for he seemed to meet all sorts of creatures, and meeting strangers warmly was one of his favourite things to do. He wondered, just who would he meet today?

Old habits were one thing that would constantly 'die hard' in Yua's experience. Wandering off after feelings of things that weren't there, as well as leaving the side of a female who would well have his ear and all fur attached to it as soon as he returned.

It was a good idea -Tui- had an idea of what they were doing, as Yua himself probably would have allowed himself to wander aimlessly for a good long time. And if it weren't again for the fact he would have felt guilty for it, he possibly would have made a point to get lost.

But that was a different story.

And even more 'different in story' was the fact that -AGAIN- he'd found himself home. The last place he'd wanted to be. But perhaps he'd go and find himself a familiar face or some unfamiliar faces, pick up on how the pride of his kin was faring, as well as other various things.

That would require him to actually -find- someone first.

And there weren't many of the old kin left. Those that were, were very old or very young, bless their hearts.

Tawa'di's paws held a sense of tingling, but that was all he got as he neared the border. He looked around, but all he could see was the Great Mountain off in the distance. Were their problems there, or was this just something that he had misread?

He took a moment to stare at the mountain, giving it a lingering moment before turning away. He would walk for a bit longer before returning to the home camp, if anyone was still there. He was a terrible leader, he always had been, and it was evident when there were few living in the home camp. He didn't know what to do, and his heart ached out for those he had seen as children. His only old friend, the leader of the Sky clan had passed, and he felt alone in that own instance.

Swishing his tail behind him as if to brush away the seeds of doubt, he wandered again, keeping his head at a level position to keep an eye out on the lands in front of him. He had seen a movement, perhaps that was a mane? Another lion, hmm? He decided to investigate, since a bit of curiosity never grew out of him.

Something's moving.

Even before he could see it out of his peripheral vision, Yua just -knew- there was something else around (y'know, besides all of the NATURE), before he turned his head to look in each direction, carefully assessing to see if his mind was simply playing tricks on him, which is often did. But he indulged the thought anyways.

Seeing the movement of the elder lion in the distance, Yua's first thought was -almost- to duck into the grass and hide. QUICK QUICK! In fact, he half ducked away, before he remembered that he -did- sort of stick out in the same way a bear would, hiding behind a tree, or whatever animal-esque comparison he could think of came to mind.

Yua didn't know what a -bear- was!

Forcing a deep breath to calm himself to keep from scaling the first object nearby he could in order to FLEE THE SCENE, Yua mimicked the motions of Tawa'di, also starting to walk towards him. -THEN- if he felt the undying desire to, he could run for the hills.

Tawa'di's mind was a bit curious at the actions of the male lion. Very different, but in a way, lightening and entertaining. A warm smile broke across his face as he neared the other male.

He first noticed old, lightened tattooing. His heart fluttered with excitement, hoping that they were bits of tattoos from a lost member of his pride, his whole sense of life. He would not outrightly ask, though; that was something that the other would want to give up himself.

"Welcome, traveler. It's a pleasure to meet you. I am Tawa'di Kanati, a nvwati in these lands you've entered. It is also a pleasure to offer you a warm welcome and invitation to stay for a time, if you wish." His normal routine, though did he rarely invite for others to stay. His trust in strangers was strong, but his trust in those to enter the heart of their land was one to be earned.

Tattooing. Yua seemed to be more intent to look at the markings on the body of the other lion than anything else, his fur puffing slightly in surprise at the sudden greeting he received from the elder male, turning to look up at his face now as if he hadn't even recognized there was one on the body he'd been looking at.

Long name, tattooing. Yep. Wasn't a nightemare. He was back in his kinlands. But to be greeted with welcome was a pleasant surprise to Yua, who smiled and nodded his head to Tawa'di and returned a greeting, though there was less enthusiasm in it than there had been in the one himself had given. "And I am Yua'lopoka Mila. A stray from these same lands."

Why on -earth- had he admitted that? Probably because he had learned his name wasn't exactly a common thing in other lands and it would have been obvious even without it.

However, Yua seemed to take a moment to think about the invitation to stay. His brain told him to run for the hills right then and there, out of his normal habit-ry, but his heart wanted to stay right there. Hmm. He'd have to ask his more intelligent half. "I appreciate the invitation, but I would think my better half would have a better say in that. I'll ask her, though. Thank you."

Tawa'di's smile did not fade as he watched the other with a warm glance. He could tell that something was amiss with the adult lion in front of him, though he couldn't quite thing of why. He seemed like a nice fellow, why the tense nerves?

"Aaah, Yua," he breathed, sorting through all the information that was in his mind. He could just recall the name Yua, though information after that was fuzzy. Something like he disappeared, though the family's distress worried him when it had happened, all that time ago. Well, all that mattered was that he was alive, well, and obviously with a mate! Joyous news indeed!

"I apologize, then, for inviting you without considering your mate," he bowed his head lightly in respect. "Though I am pleased to see you alive and well. Such a splendid surprise! Are you merely visiting for a moment, then?" There was a twinkle in his eye, but his smile stayed as polite as ever.

He kept a sort of suspicious look on his face while the other sat, thinking up stuff related to his name. YEEEEEEP. Yua was a celebrity. Famous for being crazy. But he was pleased that there was nothing further asked of him on that note.

Yua continued to stare, though with less suspicion, as the male put it out of his mind, 'priority' wise, and went off to excuse himself for the mistake of not realizing that Yua wasn't a singular being now. "Oh, there's no need to apologize!" he stammered awkwardly, before going on, "It's not as though you could have been able to tell I had company without her being right here.." he lifted a paw and waved it about next to him to simulate that there was no secret invisible aura of presence there that made Tui's existence in his life obvious no matter the location.

What Tawa'di said as he went on threw Yua off a bit, causing the male to stare at him in a sort of incredulous manner. "Well.... yeah.. I -think- I'm alive.." he replied, using the same paw he'd motioned with before to pat his chest and make sure he was solid. "Unless you're gifted with seeing ghosts...." he then added with a bit of a chuckle, then an internal groan.

Way to remind yourself, buddy.

"I'm not sure how long I'll be visiting. It depends all on Tui and..." he paused a minute, regaining his mentality a bit, before continuing "when the kids want out."

Tawa'di's ear flicked, listening intently to what Yua was saying. It seemed a bit scattered, but he gathered it all up quite nicely and let his mind absorb it before replying. What a nice fellow this Yua seemed to be.

"Blessed Yua, I am quite pleased to admit I do not see ghosts, though I have seen many strange things in my time," he chuckled. "No, but I am glad these old eyes got to see you again, even if you are not staying. Just knowing that nother one survived the migration and all of life's hard trials to grow into such a fine adult as yourself pleases me greatly."

The old lion couldn't help but gain another twinkle in his eye at the last thing that Yua mention. Aaaah, another generation! "Well, I see you are also quite the mate, as well. Hohoho, good for you!" He teased, hoping that the other wouldn't take offence at his gesture, since it was all in a congragulatory-stance.

Had Yua not trained himself that 'Groaning out loud' was a bad response to being congratulated on his soon-to-come fatherhood, then that definately would have been the given response. Had he been bluntly honest, the kids weren't his idea at all. In fact, he was partially in denial that they were his.

Ah well.

"Well, I must be quite the -something- for her to still hang around me despite all my down-sides." Yua agreed, rather enjoying the company of this old-lion, despite his previous misgivings of the pride which had been laid out on him. "Though I do think still on asking her if she wishes to give them a surname of her own choice, mine, or none at all." It was out of pridal-habit that upon the news it'd been his first thought with her not having a surname of her own.

Then again, he knew no different. Just that there was a chance his kiddos would be a -tad- bit missing in the head. But that's about all he hoped they'd get from him.

"But thank you." he again said, recalling having said such earlier, though mayhaps it was his mind playing a trick on him.

"Aaah," Tawa'di started, a bit of sympathy in his tone. "You should never question what a lady wants, for when she's determined enough, she would go to the ends of the lands for it. I've seen it, and in all my years I've never questioned it. Sure has kept me in their good graces, anyway."

A piece of Tawa'di wished to meet these children, but his conscience was nagging at him; he had a hint that Yua was not indeed returning, but merely visiting to see how his home, his old pride was doing. Tawa'di refused to let it bring him down though; instead he would keep his smile, his light attitude, and welcoming aura. Even if he would not stay, Tawa'di wanted to make sure that Yua always felt welcome.

"Please allow my congradulations to be passed onto your mate, I am sure she is quite thrilled, as most ladys are."

"Yes, but it would be nice to have that opinion out in the air for me to hear it as well, see." Yua replied casually, laughing a bit, however, in agreement to the statement that had been made. "Women will move the heaven and earth for what they desire."

It hadn't been news to him to see a competition start out over a male between females. Especially those who couldn't agree to share. Had there been any recorded history of wars, he would have been sure that there was at least -one- war started over such a trivial thing.

Yua nodded his head to the other male at his second statement, smiling brightly, a habit he'd dropped for so long until he'd practically had his muscles sewn into one by Tui'lian. "She'll be pleased to hear them, I'm sure. She's just been radiating happiness, moreso than she had been before, since she discovered it. Tried to make me guess at the state of such myself, but I'm not the sort to know of such things and she had to tell me."

There was a nervous laugh following this admission of his lack of knowledge, but it wasn't -his- fault that he was doomed to have known nothing of females. Though he had experience with them in conversation.....

on that note.

"Do you know one 'Tailsin', might I ask? She's an old friend that I parted paths with some time ago and I'd love to know how she's doing if you were to know."

(( XP And for Saffurz infoz--> Tailsin was led back to the Pridal Lands by Yua before he met Tui (and she's owned by Remove, I believe.) ))

Tawa'di's mind flickered through the list of names and faces that he could remember, but he really wasn't getting much when he looked for this "Tailsin". Pity, for if Yua was mentioning her, perhaps she was yet again another lost child of the Ela'wadiyi? A pleasure to find her, it would definately be.

"I apologize, Yua, but it seems that I have not come across one called Tailsin. I pray that I will though, especially if she is a dear friend of yours. Do you know where it was that you parted paths with her? Close to here? I will certainly make that my next purpose, to find this Tailsin of yours."

The old lion grinned, shaking his head a bit to get his greying mane out of his face so he could take a better look at Yua's tattoos, the few that were left. Aaaah, child. He wished, so much, that Yua would stay, but something told him that he would. Let the wind carry him safely, though.

It wasn't a surprise to Yua to hear that this one had yet to have met Tailsin, as she had only returned to the pride a short time before. So he shook his head at the apology and chuckled a bit. "Ah, bare it no mind. I'm sure you will meet her in your venturing sooner or later. It was just curiousity that begged me to ask of her." he explained, hoping that this stranger would have no desire to go out of his way to meet this old friend.

Which almost made him feel bad, since he didn't have such a desire to do so -either-. But he felt, almost, that his current concerns lay elsewhere; or, to be exact, in the belly of a lioness whom he'd grown rather fond of.

There was a certain degree of awkwardness from Yua as he looked down at his own leg and it's fading markings, almost with a sort of longing, before shaking his head a bit. No, he'd no return yet. Perhaps someday, but not at this time.

"Well, it was some time ago when we parted ways.." he recollected, looking off in the distance a bit. "Some ways over there, I'd imagine." he said, then nodded, sure of it. Well, more sure than unsure of it. "She's quite a spirit, that one."

Tawa'di observed Yua for a moment, judging some things, but never saying them. He could guess, but guessing never got anyone anywhere, he knew that. But perhaps if Yua wanted to return, with this family of his he created, he would.

Ah well, only time would tell.

Tawa'di's attention soon shifted as he listened to where Yua last saw this Tailsin of his. Interesting, this face about her being quite a spirited one. They certainly needed a bit more of something like that around here, since everyone still seemed a bit gloom from the move, even though it was quite some time ago. Flopping his tail to his side, the old lion wondered if anyone else was still surviving out there, if there even was anyone else that would return. Perhaps not, since it had been such a long time. If they hadn't returned yet, then perhaps they never would.

"Ah, I'm sure I will come across her in a short time, then. My old paws can only carry me so far in a day, perhaps that is why I have not met Tailsin yet. Age sure seems to catch up with you in all a moon's time!" he laughed.
