Favored Weapon: Quarterstaff, if he absolutely has to fight.
Description: With a height of five feet and four inches and a slender build, Nall looks slightly younger than he actually is. Aside from brushing it in the morning, he doesn’t pay much attention to his silvery blonde hair, giving it a rather unkempt appearance. Since the top of his head is the only part that most people see, it would be better for him to pay more attention to it, but… well, that’s Nall. He has emerald green eyes, which… well, while they look very pretty and everything, they come with a drawback: they don’t work very well, which makes it necessary for Nall to wear glasses.
Personality: Although he has been studying magic for the past few years, Nall is still very, very uneasy about his abilities, and for a good reason. He’s honestly not that good with it yet. He is generally shy around new people and takes a while to open up, especially if he just attempted a failed bit of magic. Once you get past the shy thing, he can be extroverted, but only in a small group of people. He is, in many ways, a bit like a little kitten: cute, and playful but only if you get his trust first. If forced to choose between spending all day at some sort of party or reading a book, he won’t even see a real choice: he’ll go for the book every time.
It’s very easy to get Nall flustered or exasperated; in fact, it was a popular game for people in his hometown to see who could make him blush more.

Yeah… they didn’t have much to do there.
History: Nall’s family is, for a lack of a better word, normal. If known for anything at all, they’re known for producing very few wizards. His ability didn’t present himself until he was sixteen years old, making him the first mage in his family in several generations. The local hedge-wizard tried to teach Nall, but this didn't go too well... It was a struggle for his family to get the coins together, but they managed to scrape the money necessary to send him off. They figured that they might as well be poor rather than have an untrained wizard running about. Untrained wizards, after all, tend to cost a lot of damage and someone would have to pay for all that damage.
Relations: Since he continues to send a portion of the money he makes home, he sort of assumes that his family is alive. At least, no one is sending the money back saying, ‘they’re dead, kid. Quit sending me stuff’. Then again, human nature dictates that people wouldn’t say that anyway.
Magic: Nall's magic is centered around plants. Mostly. But it's a bit unpredictable, especially when he is far away from wild areas, such as forests.

Name: Xylia
Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Affinity: Forest
Physical Description: Xylia’s scales are a deep dark green with the occasional brown, making her look almost camouflaged in the right environment. This comes in handy because of her wizard’s habit of hiding from other people. The fin on her head, however, don’t come in very handy. For the most part, they’re assumed to be decoration, just like the membranes on her tail. Her thin almost transcluent wings aren’t enough to support her weight for flight, unfortunately. She is of average size.
Personality: Luckily for Nall’s social life, Xylia is far more social than he is. She also has an attention span that is smaller than she is, so his rather stagnant lifestyle bores her quickly. This generally means that she gets into all sorts of trouble when he isn’t looking, such as eating his socks or, if she’s really annoyed at him, throwing up in his dress shoes. She may be a little lady at times, but she loves having a good wrestling match with other dragon. This is an issue between her and Kalyan, since the Leaf affinity dragon is most certainly 'claws off'.

Physical Description: Jelka's base color is white with brown splotches on her scales. Green outlines her feet and her wings, though, creating a little splash of color. The scales on her legs are more defined and tougher than her parents'. Her ears are pricked forward, in a cat-like fashion. Her wings are large and leathery, easily able to bear her weight in flight, despite the fact that she is larger than average for female dragons.
Personality: Jelka is an easy-going creature. While she could easily cause some serious damage with her fangs, she prefers not to bite unless she really has to. She's not as active as Xylia, much to Nall's relief, but not as anti-social as Kalyan either. She prefers to lounge around, which makes her a very undemanding dragon. The only thing she does demand is food; her favorite treat is dried fish strips.

Physical Description: Most of his scales are a basic light green, but the occasional splotch of red distracts the eye. Starting under his chin and ending about a quarter down his tail, he has a layer of stronger red scales, presumably for protection against thorns while climbing. The sails on his back (again red) are useless for flying and basically just look really pretty. Like Xylia, he has little ear flaps. He's smaller than average, as far as size goes.
Personality: Kalyan is a very, very, very shy creature. He’s shy enough to make Nall look like Mr. GQ. Most of the time, he prefers to stay by himself, usually hiding behind or under some plant in Nall’s room. If he absolutely must go outside, he’ll hide under Nall’s clothes, much to the embarrassment of the wizard because there is nothing worse than hearing a lady say, “Err… something in your pants is moving…” or something along those lines. Around dragons, Kalyan is little better; at least for other dragons, he doesn’t immediately hide. He usually waits for them to do something before he hides.

Affinity: Earth
Physical Description: Levi is unusual among dragons because he lacks the leathery skin or scales that most others have. Instead, he is almost entirely covered with a soft downy fur. Along his back and tail, the fur is slightly longer, creating a sort of Mohawk appearance. His tail ends in a tuft, rather like a lion’s tail. He is mostly brown, with a smattering of green spots. His belly is plated with hard scales, presumably to protect himself while burrowing. His ears are laid back, probably for the same reason. He has no wings and is slightly smaller than average.
Personality: Levi is, in one word, possessive. If something is his, then it is his forever. When on neutral territory, he is slightly calmer, but still slightly aggressive to any perceived threats. In a way, he’s a bit like a terrier; a big dog in a small body, who will fearlessly confront others much larger than he is. But, once you get past the possessiveness, he is also extremely loyal. If you’re his friend, then you’re his friend for life. He gets along best with dragons that he can easily push around and, later on, protect from dangers. He just loves to play guardian.
