Gaia having a gay/lesbian NPC?

This rumor, particularly aimed at the new NPC "Louie", has been going around for quite some time, especially since Lanzer said roughly the following: "Louie is straight... for now." Ironically enough, Lanzer also said there would never be any homosexual NPCs in Gaia (I'm having trouble locating where this was exactly said, any links would be appreciated). What do you guys think of having a gay NPC? Is it wrong? Is it stepping over our PG-13 limit?
Unfortunately, it seems most Gaians would like a homosexual NPC: "So I'm watching lesbian porn...".
Not only is it way too controversial of a topic to bring into Gaia, it would most likely spark "Gaian riots".
It seems rather stupid to bring in a homosexual NPC anyway considering theres next to no romance in the current plot anyway (besides Ian, Sasha and possibly Gino). Theres also the possibility of having the homosexual portion of Gaia being dissatisfied.
So what do you think? Homosexual NPCs, or not?

Setting aside the fact that homosexuality is a sin according to the bible, and that a huge mass of issues between the two sides could probably rise up on both sides, and build to the point where many would probably boycott Gaia period, why have one?

So there was a love twist in there between Ian, Sasha and Gino, and Liam played Vanessa and Moira, but got caught and dumped. Now, we're waiting to see what happened between Gino, Liam, and the twin vampires, and what Edmund and Johnny are going to do about Ian being chased and possibly being a vampire. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't throwing a gay NPC out of the blue just be stupid? He'd just be drifting there for no good reason. There's no plot for him. If the plot developed more, there coul be a chance for a gay NPC to join in somewhere, but it would have to develop a lot more, and they'd have to throw in some disclaimers about the gay issues, and show themselves as completely neutral, or problems will most likely come of it, anyway.

It was Adam and Eve in a garden, not Adam and Eve on computers! You're going to hell for using one.

Seriously, arguments from exclusion (This isn't specified in the parameters, so it is wrong) don't work. Find me one person in the Bible who spoke English. You can't? Stop speaking english. Find me one person in the Bible who wore machine-made clothing. You can't? Start sewing by hand.

That aside, read my post in "A much discussed issue" on this forum, or go to the Jesus Freaks Hangout and look at the thread in the main forum there for more information.

Finally, there are gay people in real life. Gaia is a reflection of real life. Therefore, Gaia should show gay people. Not many, just enough to reflect real life.

I'm not sure where I stand on gay marriages but I think people should be able to be gay if they want. I'm straight, by the way. It should be your own decision. If people make wrong decisions than I think it's their choice. Also, I don't think it would be a big deal if a Gaia NPC were gay/lesbian. It's not like Gaia's going "everyone be gay and/or lesbian!!!"

There would be massive amounts of gaian riots, petitions and arguements if there were to be a Gay NPC, between the homosexuals and the others. Not only that but, homosexuality is a sin, not that that has anything to do with this, really, just saying. I would be against it because there is no need for gaia to go that far. I think they've gone far enough by having some of the female NPC's wear "skanky" clothing. Just my opinion though biggrin
