I have not watched much of the classic episodes, but how about, we discuss some of the very old episodes and characters of Doctor Who, like Pertwee, or Delgado. I mean most of the other threads are more to do with the new version.
Edit: Yes, I do realise that I misspelt Tennant, but I am not going to restart the poll, just because of that.

I used to watch it on UKTV Gold too, but I haven't seen in on recently. So I just stick to what DVD's I have... even if I only have about 3.

woolie Before Doctor Who restarted I watched Tom Baker/Peter Davison on Sunday mornings. I did that too! It's probably why I love Four and Five so much. That wasn't the first time I've watched Doctor Who though, I remember wierd blurry memories of watching Doctor Who when I was really small. According to my Mother I used to watch it a lot.....

i got into watching eccleston cos my aussie friend never shut up about him (now shes a tennant fan she only like him cos hes cute rolleyes ) and then i watched some tennant and for some reason i was looking back yadda yadda and became enamored with tom baker heee.
i still need to get all of his cos his collection is simply massive and ive got a lot of different obsessions running at once, but after that ill look toward the older doctors. its simply foolish to get the newer dvds; i cant afford 50, 60$ hell i dont know how much XD when tapes are like $3. i got sontaran experiment and genesis of daleks for $2.50 and $3 shipping and i got something zygon for $1.
you show me a tennant dvd for $1 and ill jump all over it XD but until then...

David Tennant's my fave.
Every Saturday here a local PBS station airs 2 eps of the original Doctor Who stuff. Yesterday I saw a couple eps of the 4th doctor (the one with the long scarf and Sarah Jane). The ep was "The Brain of Mobius" (some major evil time lord)
My opinion of the earlier stuff will be sticking for a while.
Bad acting, bad sets, felt like I was watching an old soap or a taping of a play. I remember this one old B&W ep that had evil fog or something but it was actually an over abundance of soap bubbles! rolleyes
But yea... The earlier Doctor Who I don't like at all... to me it feels forced and really lame. I don't see how kids back then got so scared of the Daleks that they hid behind their couches. I actually like the Daleks!
Course maybe it's cuz Im a TMNT fan as well. Krang is based on Daleks and so are the Utroms. Heck seeing Mobius' brain reminded me of Baxter Stockman! *lol*
In all actuallity when it comes to the earlier Doctor Who stuff I prefer the comics and audios. The current stuff...now THAT's the ticket. "Mummy? Mummy? Are you my mummy?" and "Don't Blink!"...honestly scary stuff there.
