The Goddess of Purity was sitting upon a large rock with her paws all hung out to dry. She was damp from a swim she took early before, trying to stay out of the heat. Her golden horn shined brightly as the sun hit, showing off its rough yet glossy shape and color.

A soft hue of pink covered her cheeks and the bridge of her nose as she smiled contently to herself, gazing out at the ocean.

Zimran was always traveling. She had nothing else to do!- so why not move around and see the world? She was a dreamer after all, always following her heart.

Her tail flicked from side to side as she smiled and rested her chin upon her paws, relaxing in the shade, cooling off beside the ocean.

The moon had waxed and waned four times since they'd reached the ocean, four human months since Rahima of Huruma and Akamu'Hakan had first swam together in it's water. Why Rahima'd never seen the sea sooner was a mystry to her, she'd come to think of the beach as the home she'd always wanted - the place to return to when her wanderlust waned.

They'd hit the beach far north of the Bhari'mtoto pride and had been walking down alongside the water ever since. All the way they'd talked and had come to know each other very well, their attraction changing to love. Rahima had never thought she'd find such happiness again...she was older now and had experienced so much. Yet Akamu made her feel young again. Her depression had lifted as she told him of her life and heard his story in return. They were so alike, in some ways...both had so much to tell...and she couldn't wait until they could introduce each other to family...

But today Rahima lay outside their temporary den, gazing out at the sun upon the ocean she'd come to adore. In front of her in the sand, she'd made a paw print for everyone she'd ever loved. The last was for Akamu, whose sleeping comforting warmth she'd left sleeping behind her.

She was cub-heavy again, around one moon's worth, half her term. She didn't know how many paw prints to add yet but her belly had grown and she'd had all her old cravings and some new ones too. This should have had her beaming. As soon as she'd told Akamu, they'd celebrated. It was wonderful to have such a mate as him, and to be blessed with cubs again - it was a dream come true, to be honest.

But someone else was missing too besides the new children from this line of pawprints. Her two adopted sisters, Muroki, Ithi and Denge, Nyunya and her siblings, her twin sons, Saburi who she lost, and the two males who'd stolen and broken her heart long before she'd met Akamu. Even Nyekundu was there, her hesitant paw making a shallow impression, for her love had never been returned and she knew other lions would have disowned that son completely in their hearts. So it wasn't Nyek.

They'd discovered she had a blank patch in her memory. She couldn't account for the time after visiting the jungle, to when she'd met up with old friends outside the Mistweaver lands. Whenever she tried to remember she ended up with headaches. And she knew somehow, from and echo in her heart and her reawakened motherly instincts, that there should have been more marks in the sand...

(so not posting that much again XD)
