Yeah, I know this is pretty much off-topic, but I'll move it soon. ^^
So, Gaia has a new layout, logo, etc.. almost reminescent of the Neopets layout change half a year ago... ._.
Good, bad, otherwise? Comments/questions?

I don't think it's too busy. I just dislike it. It's... new, and... kind of lousy.

I Like:
--Not having that big blank glaring white spot smack in the middle of my screen on the Home Page mrgreen
--The city backgrounds behind our avis biggrin
--The larger avis! xd
--the cute little Daily Chance game cart!! whee
--The SHORTCUTS directly to our Guilds & stuff!!! heart heart
I Don't Like:
--The new logo (be OK if they'd just use a capital "G" at least....) :XP:
--Not being able to see more than the top 9 friends on my list now cry

I like it, I wont click the wrong thing now like I use too and theres a thing that has a mail icon instead of randomly poping up with waisted space. For once the change is a good thing.

I like all of it, except the new logo, and the fact that my small computer screen won't show the whole thing unless I scroll sideways...although my dad's screen can fit it all in perfectly. ^^

I have a flatscreen monitor set to an even larger resolution, so I have some space left over on the right edge. It all looks fine, though. Can't wait to see the backgrounds change for Events like Hallowe'en & Christmas. It's just really cool that they're integrating the world of Gaia back into the site again like this. xd

Gotta get use to it, but I don't have any dislikes yet. I do like how it easy to get to different sections now though. :3

The only thing about it that I don't like is the amount of space the top bar thing takes up. Other than that, I like it. I like the city look and the fact that I can go directly where I want without detours.

Lullabee I just dislike it. It's... new, and... kind of lousy. I say that every time they update it. EVERY EFFING TIME SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING. But...they'll keep messing with it until the site dries up and dies. At least it isn't that low res joke of a layout they had a few back. *shudders*

At least it isn't that low res joke of a layout they had a few back. *shudders* This layout is way better than anything they've had during my time on Gaia. The only problem being that it's a bit graphics-intensive. This thread should be in the Chatty Kathy, methinks.Maybe it's not as wondrous as the mythical, ancient "Old Gaia" layout everyone talks about, I wouldn't know. But this one's a massive improvement over the previous.

I'm not sure about it yet. My screen is very small, so the top bar doesn't fit. I'm still kind of muddling through where everything is. I'll get used to it, though.

Yeah I'm mean but I'm moving this to the Chatty Kathy.
My first reaction to the new layout was 'Noooooo! Change!' but actually I like it better than the last change. I kinda liked it how it was when I first joined though I guess the shortcuts are better now. Also I like the Daily Chance cart a lot! whee

I'm not too sure. I've been a member for about a year now, so I'm used to the old one. I'll give this one the benefit of the doubt for now and see if it grows on me...
