According to the Sun an old enemy is returning, Davros, creator of the Daleks shall return this upcoming series. He shall be played by Sir Ben Kingsley.

Davros coming back, I could buy, but played by Ben Kingsley?! No way, that's got to be a joke. I mean, I just can't see an actor of that caliber playing that sort of role.
Plus there's just something wrong about having a genocidal maniac played by Ghandi.

Well, they DID get Derek Jacobi this year, after all! But I'm betting they would re-invent Davros' appearance if it were true...I mean, there wasn't much left of the guy by the last time we saw him! He was just a head in an Emperor Dalek casing!
If he re-invents the Daleks (although to his view it would be the first time, not knowing they'd been wiped from time except for those that were in the Void), their whole history could end up completely different, and maybe his own as well.

The Gandhi bit is weird. I'd bet you any amount of money the Doctor has met Gandhi, by the way. Not to mention the guy's been knighted... I mean, what's he doing playing some cheesy villain?...

@Lullabee: Jacobi's been knighted as well. I think it's more a "Yay! I'm on Doctor Who, a staple of British culture" than a "How much will I be getting for this" or "This isn't artistic enough for me" deal.
Remember guys, this is The Sun we're talking about. Their accuracy rate is about 3%.

If they didn't re-invent Davros & kept on from the last we saw of him, Ben Kingsley could just do his voice...because by now there wouldn't be anything left of Davros but his nose or his left ear or something, at the rate he was losing parts. lol

Davros sounds okay, but haven't they had enough of bringing back old villians by now? It'll be entertaining (but probably lame) if they do. Unless they do it REALLY well...

It might be that this is Davrous befor he created the darleks. I doubt it thow. I think that the Darlkes probly found him again and he is rebuilding them.

That would be lame--the Classic Series already did "Daleks-go-back-to-Davros-for-help" stories a couple of times. And he says, "I'll do it but you must make me your ruler!" (they decided before they weren't being bossed around by a non-Dalek even if he created them), and they agree then doublecross him because they STILL only see him as a non-Dalek. I do NOT want to see another one of these. I'd rather see the "re-invent the Daleks" idea, with the Doctor showing up & trying like crazy to stop it happening all over again or alter them so they won't be what they were before.
