i don't know about u all but for me, sometimes i really want to have the lyrics to some of the celtic woman songs, especially the ones sung in gaelic. post questions u have on songs/words/phrases here.
Here are the lyrics for dulaman sad let me know if these are wrong, so many versions of the song)
A 'níon mhín ó, sin anall na fir shúirí A mháithairin mhín ó, cuir na roithléan go dtí mé
[Curfá:] Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn
Tá ceann buí óir ar an dúlamán gaelach Tá dhá chluais mhaol ar an dúlamán maorach
Bróga breaca dubha ar an dúlamán gaelach Tá bearéad agus triús ar an dúlamán maorach
[Curfá 2x]
Góide a thug na tíre thú? arsa an dúlamán gaelach Ag súirí le do níon, arsa an dúlamán maorach
Rachaimid chun Niúir leis an dúlamán gaelach Ceannóimid bróga daora ar an dúlamán maorach
[Curfá]
Ó chuir mé scéala chuici, go gceannóinn cíor dí 'Sé'n scéal a chuir sí chugam, go raibh a ceann cíortha
[Curfá]
Cha bhfaigheann tú mo 'níon, arsa an dúlamán gaelach Bheul, fuadóidh mé liom í, arsa an dúlamán maorach
Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach
[Curfá]
Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí, b'fhearr a bhí Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí, b'fhearr a bhí B'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn
[English translation:]
Oh gentle daughter, here come the wooing men Oh gentle mother, put the wheels in motion for me
[Chorus:] Seaweed from the yellow cliff, Irish seaweed Seaweed from the ocean, the best in all of Ireland
There is a yellow gold head on the Gaelic seaweed There are two blunt ears on the stately seaweed The Irish seaweed has beautiful black shoes The stately seaweed has a beret and trousers
[Chorus 2x]
"What are you doing here?" says the Irish seaweed "At courting with your daughter," says the stately seaweed
I would go to Niúir with the Irish seaweed "I would buy expensive shoes," said the Irish seaweed
[Chorus]
I spent time telling her the story that I would buy a comb for her The story she told back to me, that she is well-groomed
"Oh where are you taking my daughter?" says the Irish seaweed "Well, I'd take her with me," says the stately seaweed
Seaweed from the yellow cliff, Irish seaweed
[Chorus]
Seaweed from the yellow cliff, Irish seaweed Seaweed from the ocean, the best, the best Seaweed from the yellow cliff, Irish seaweed Seaweed from the ocean, the best, the best The best in all of Ireland

Mary Jane lamond is a really great singer.you should check it out on youtube or something. this is one of her songs. in english it is called the spinning song
'S iomadh caileag bhòidheach laghach Many a lovely, pleasant young woman A bhios 'na suidh' aig cuibhlidh Will sit at the spinning wheel A' snìomh nan rolag 's seinn nan luinneag Plying the rolls and crooning melodies Bidh gach currac binn ann All the peaked mutches will be present A' snàithlean bòidheach ruith ro' meòirean Lovely yarn coursing through her fingers Cothrom, còmhnard, sìnte Finished, smooth and stretched A falt 'na dhual bhos cionn a cluais Her hair arranged in a plait 'Ga chumail suas le cìr ann Held by a comb above her ear A Nic Theàrlaich, air do shlàinte A drink to your health, oh daughter of Charles Bidh sinn càirdeil daonnan We shall always be cordial Bidh thusa 'fàs, bidh mise 'cnàmh You will increase and I shall wither 'S mo cheann cho bàn ri faoileig My head white as a gull's Bu mhór leam an toileach a thug siod dhomhs' It gave me great pleasure A laighe blàth ri d'thaobhsa To lay warm by your side Nuair thig an geamhradh, bídh tu sàs When winter comes you will be working Aig nigheann bhàn Nic Mhaoilein For MacMillan's fair-haired daughter (Sèist) (Chorus) Thig a'chuibhle cuairt car o dheas na o thuath The wheel will come spinning from south or from north Agus gheobh ar n'easdairdean duais an eucoir And our enemies will receive the reward of their crime Nuair thig an geamhradh, 's àm nam bainnsean When winter comes and the season for weddings Gheobh sinn dram' dhe 'n Tòiseach We'll get a dram of spirits 'S bidh Nollaig chridheil aig cloinn nighean The girls and young boys 'S aig na gillean òga Will enjoy a merry Christmas Bidh mnathan òg a' ruith 's a' leum Young women will bustle about 'S cuid dhiubh 'g éigheachd òran Some of them calling out songs Bidh srannd aig bodaich ann am fodar Old men sitting in the straw 'S sogan orr' a' còmhradh Will drone contentedly in conversation (Sèist) (Chorus) Thig a'chuibhle cuairt car o dheas na o thuath The wheel will come spinning from south or from north Agus gheobh ar n'easdairdean duais an eucoir And our enemies will receive the reward of their crime

yeah, i found that to be a let down when i learned that dulaman means seaweed and the song is being sung about ireland's seaweed. ia agree it sounds alot deeper and more profound when u listen to it. the same with si do mhaimeo i. they are both fun songs though.
