Rhapsody walked out ahead of his father and his new step-mother. They were all out on a family outting and it had been his fathers suggestion. Rhapsody went along with it so as to not cause any problems besides he hadn't been on his morning walk yet anyway.
Jazz walked cheerfully beside his mate, Glow Heart, and had a spring in his step. He was glad for thinking of the idea to had them all go for a walk. He would have asked his mother to come along too but she had not been around this morning. He wondered if she had finally snuck off to go see his father now that she could. "What a lovely day!" he exclaimed and smiled over to Glow.

Glow smiled, watching Jazz. She giggled lightly. "Your in such a good mood today." She said. tho she had yet to see Jazz in a bad mood, he seemed a bit hyper. Not that she minded. she nodded lightly. "Yes its a lovley day." she nuzzled him lightly. "this walk was a good idea."

  Ever Sacrifice watched her daughter chase butterflies in the distance. She hadn't been around when the young filly had popped out of her basket finally, but she was going to spend as much time as she could. "Don't go off too far, Vidia!"
She smiled, watching the filly turn back to look at her with the same cyan eyes of her father. She could feel her heart grow soft just watching her slowly grow up. It was a great joy to have had two wonderful daughters with her mate.
"I'm gonna get'chu," the tan and red filly said, sticking her rump in the air and wiggling it before she attempted to pounce on the monarch that was fluttering between the flowers. Her hooves clicked together and she missed. She whinnied in laughter and continued on with the game, unaware that others were soon entering the area.
Ever's attention was drawn off to the distance where she had heard the sounds of hooves. She glanced at her daughter before taking a few steps forward, the protective instincts of a mother. She didn't want to frighten her daughter, but didn't want her wandering off to far. "Vidia?" She smiled when the filly bounded over to her and planted herself under her mother, looking up at her between the chestnut red legs, then let her blue gaze linger where the sound had come from.

The pink stallion rolled his eyes at his fathers obvious hyperness. Somedays he could swear that his father was the same age or younger than him since he found Glow. It was annoying at first but then he had others to worry about way more annoying than his father. Plus Dustin had said thats what fathers do. The young stallions ears perked as he heard voices ahead.
Jazz continued to prance along. He was in a really good mood today. The weather was amazing and he was always happier when around his mate. He never would have thought he could be so happy and feel so young again. "I am in a good mood today and you know why I am in a good mood today? Well, I will tell ya why! It's because I am here walking with my son and my beautiful mate!" he exclaimed rather loudly, he hadn't heard the voices.

"Your such a goof" SHe said before she paused, her ears perking as well. It sounded like the three of them weren't the only ones out and about and enjoying the day. At least she hoped whoever the voices belonged to were out to enjoy the sunshine. She scooted a bit closer to Jazz as a precaution.

She blinked as words echoed in the trees. That voice sounded so familiar, but she couldn't exactly place it because of how distorted it sounded. She felt her daughter move closer to her when she heard the voices of strangers. She was completely different compared to her sister.
Slowly the figures seemed to become a bit clearer and Ever was able to recognize the pink pelt of her nephew. She held a very large smile and turned her attention back to Vidia for a second. "Looks like you get to meet the rest of the family, sunshine."
Vidia peeked one eye around the side of her mother's front legs. She wasn't too sure she liked the idea of meeting more strangers. The times she had been out with Nacio. Would these new people be scary like those in that large field?

Jazz continued to prance along even as Glow moved closer to him. He didn't get the feeling of uncertainty that she had since he had not heard the voices. "Getting closer I see?! Is that because I am just so studdly?" he said joking and nipped at her mane.
Rhapsody rolled his eyes again at his fathers antics. He hoped he never got like that if he ever found a mate. Then his ears again picked up a voice only this time he could recognize it as his Aunt Ever. With a sigh of relief he charged on ahead hoping that maybe she would put some sense into his fathers head. As he walked through the underbrush he caught the scent of someone else and obviously someone very young. This made him curious. "You better quit goofing off and hurry up. I think Aunt Ever is ahead!" he called back to his father and step-mother.

Glow let out a breath. Least it didn't seem as tho it was somone danger. Ever....Ever...Jazz mentioned somone by that name didn't he? she couldn't remember. she shook her head at Jazz's antics."I think you..." She tugged at one of his ears. "Need to get your ears cleaned out, my lovely mate." she said, a bit playfully, but also a bit serious. She knew Jazz was in a excited mood so she wasn't gonna get mad at him for not noticing the voices before but she could be a little concerned. She looked down a bit, snuggling against him. For a moment she really had been frightened.

She nickered out loudly to them, able to hear the grown voice of Rhaps before anyone else. At least she knew those two were here and she stomped her front hooves excitedly. She looked back to her daughter with a very large smile. "Please step out from under me, Vidia. They'll want to greet you as well and it's rude to hide."
The filly seemed to grumble under her breath as she stepped from her comfort spot. She stood right next to her mother. Her cyan eyes, very like her father's, were watching where the sounds had come from wearily. Strangers weren't any fun to her.

Jazz's ear perked up as his son told him his dearest friend maybe up ahead. He had not seen her in such a long time and could not wait to have her meet his new mate. "Really?! Are you sure Rhap? Ididn't hear anything." he said a bit too fast.
Rhapsody rolled his eyes. "Yes I am sure! Do you think I would forget what my own Aunt sounded like?!" he said a bit frustratedly. He couldn't wait to meet up with his aunt. Atleast she would be sane and not the goof his father was being.
The red stallion got a huge grin on his face at the confirmation his son had given him and then turned to Glow. "This is turning out to be a better day than it already was! You'll finally get to meet my very good friend and adopted sister, Ever Sacrifice!" he exclaimed before pick up his pace and followed after his son.
Rhapsody rolled his eyes again before heading into the last of the underbrush that seperated them from his Aunt. As he walked through he could hear her talking to someone else. This confirmed the scent he had caught on the wind and he could kinda see them standing there through the bursh. "Hello, Auntie!" Rhapsody called, making thier presence known so that she knew what to expect.

Glow paused as Jazz rushed ahead. "...ok then..." she said lightly, stopping for a moment before she moved after the two stallions, hanging back a bit. SHe took back what she thought a while back...Meeting Jazz's family still scared her. She picked up her pace a bit so she could walk beside Jazz, attempting to hide her uneasyness. It would be ok...hopefully.

Ever saw not only two, but three shapes emerge from the trees. Her smile grew larger, assuming the best for her "brother." She nudged her daughter in the rump before moving forward and affectionately nuzzling first Rhaps and then Jazz. Her blue gaze then shifted to the mare that seemed rather shy. "It's a pleasure to meet a new face. Jazz, you must tell me who this enchanting mare is," she said with a wink to Glow.
She could tell that Jazz was all full of himself and would go one for ages about this treasured find. "Oh, but before you go on. Everyone, I'd like you to meet my daughter, Vidia." She looked back to see that the filly had only moved a few steps. "Vidia, remember your manners."
Vidia looked at them all with wide eyes, the scar on her face seeming smaller. She put her head down as low as she could, staring at the ground. "Hello..." There were three strangers, great.

Rhapsody affectionally nuzzled his aunt back happy to see her again. It really had been to long since he had seen her and she was one of his favorite aunts. Then he turned to look at the little filly she had mentioned was her daughter. rhapsody had not seen a foal since he had grown and now found it to be quite weird. The little pale filly named Vidia seemed so small next to himself and she seemed to be rather shy as well. Going to some kind of big brother mood, Rhapsody smiled and went slowly over to his "cousin" in hopes of getting her out of her shell.
"Hello, Vidia. It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Rhapsody and I am kinda your cousin." he said and bent his head down so her could look her straight in the eyes.
Jazz greeted Ever happily and also nuzzled her back, before turning and smiling to Glow, letting her now it was alright. "This would be my lovely new mate, Glow Heart." he said cheerfully and proudly, turning once again to his friend. "She is the one who finally taught me that it was okay to trust again. And I see that you and Tawali have been busy! She is such a cutie. Looks just like her dad." he said and smiled over to where his son and Vidia were. "Is she your only one or do you have a couple more?" he asked wondering if she was only blessed with one or maybe even two little ones.
Thinking about little ones got him thinking again how he hoped to have more and give Glow a family of her own.

Glow smiled a bit back at Jazz before nodding to Ever, smiling lightly. "Hello, its nice to meet you." She said lightly. She looked to the filly and her smiled widdened a bit. A little foal! "Oh my goodness, your daughter is so adorable!" she said. She didn't, however, move to approch the filly. She seemed shy, plus Rhapsody was taking to her and it would be rude to interupt. She looked to Jazz to smile at him. One day they'd have little ones of their own. A bit of her nervousness disappered at the sight of the filly. Accually almost all of it disappered. How could one be scared around a child?
