i love meave when she sings galic songs and i like lisa when she sings english songs, but i would have to say i like lisa best

I Like Orla, I think she has a wonderful haunting voice. I like when she plays the harp and sings Carrickfergus. I think her best song is Newgrange.

Ireally like Carrickfergus when Orla sings it. She has more of an accent, so when lisa sings it, its kind of wierd because she doesn't have that really prenounced accent

yes i agree. orla has the accent more so than lisa. that might be because lisa was on broadway for many years. and newgrange is a great new song for orla biggrin

When you watch Orla sing I think she puts more emotion into it than Lisa did. There is a diffrece in singing a great folk song and singing a part of your heratage. Not that you could say eather of them don't do a fantastic job.

true, true. but orla definetly has more of a connection with her irish heritage, as represented in her singing. while lisa is excellent too, orla brings out a deeply rooted affinity of the language and culture behind it.
