Chris is teen now, but he weighs more than a full grown male that plays professional football, nearing 400lbs or more. He walks on all fours, his knees bent and on his knuckles. His tail provides balance, like an alien beast. As he gets older he'll stay twice the size of the usual kids his own age. His forearms and hands are way larger than his upper arms merit.

When he speaks he has two voices at once, one slightly higher than the other. They've gotten deeper with the new growth, that of a raspy tenor. His skin is tough, to the point where knives would have a hard time scratching it. Getting shots is a problem, to say the least. He can lift up to ten times his own weight, as well. With the aid of the biodampener earring he can only lift twice his own weight.

Other than the strength thing he doesn't have any powers that we know of yet. It doesn't look like he's going to get any, either. He's about as spiritually attuned as a rock... maybe less. He enjoys bragging about that fact to Antony.

He's going to wind up with Aurora, a female starmaker in the CPK. They've practically been dating since they were babies, not that he realizes it. She's also his best friend. His other best friend is Wisp, a flighty blonde Rainbow Brite cosplay with dreams of being a superhero. Of course, with Chris's strength she always drags him into it.

He has a band, a craptastic band called "Rock Hard and Easy", or RHE. He came up with the name when he was a kid, didn't notice the innuendo until he was a teen, but likes it a hell of a lot now^_^ He's the singer, of course.

He smokes a cigar whenever he can get away with it. Since he's so tough he figures it won't hurt him, and it's a quick way to keep warm in the cold. He hates cold. Aurora plans on making him switch to better smelling ones soon.

Bio: Tyler Deakon is a forty-five year old ex military man, one who spent most of his youth (21 – 35) working as a sweeper for a group that wasn’t supposed to exist. He’s now working as the janitor at Liberty Center. He’s quiet, slightly gruff, but a good listener who actually takes interest in what other people think of things. He doesn’t talk much about his past, but that might be because he was told not to. He loves his wife and even became Catholic for her. They go to Mass every Sunday.

You'll never hear Tyler complain. It's pointless, in his mind, and since he can do practically anything (IE electricity, building, cleaning, cooking) he can fix the problem and not have anything to complain ABOUT easily enough. Actually, now that I think about it, you'll hardly hear him talk, either. He doesn't believe that words should be used wastefully, if he has something to say you should probably listen, because it's important.

Was his past tragic? No, not really. He came from a military family, his grandfather was in the military, his father was in the military, and his older brother was in the military, as well. It was only expected that he join up on his eighteenth birthday, and he did, going through the Boot Camp and training with ease thanks to his childhood. Unfortunately, though, his brother died while in duty when Tyler was 21 and he was 24. Tyler took it hard, and almost quit, but he was approached by a man that told him he could help those situations from ever happening again. He was recruited to a team that stopped wars before the war ever began.

Tyler is a very dangerous man. He looks it, too, although not that tall at 6'1 he maintains a very strong, streamlined body and has no signs of excess on him. He's not very pretty, either, and has a few scars here and there from the past that he prefers not showing people. He can't help but show the one on his temple though. It's from a bullet that grazed him during a messier moment at work. He still hasn't told Missy about that one, even though she's asked. He doesn't want to explain what he did to the man that shot him, since he worries it might traumatize her.

Tyler is a very loving man, as well. His father died during the years he worked as a sweeper, and he was left alone in the world, since his mother died when he was a child. He holds the family that he has now as a gift from God, and does everything within his power to keep them safe and happy. The fact that Chris would be safe in the middle of a nuclear war is actually quite a relief for Tyler, not that he would ever tell anyone other than Chris that.

Because of his past, Tyler has gone through several psych evaluations over the years. They pay special attention to him because of the high level of secrecy that his work involved, and because he's a threat to them as well, were he to tell some of the things he's done. Every six months or so he goes in for a re-evaluation, always to be told that he's perfectly stable and doing great. But this does mean one thing. The Government knows about Christian, and have been watching him closely to make sure he's not a threat. Of course, the fact that he's being raised by one of their best does reassure them somewhat, but now that Chris is a teen other issues should be arising soon enough.

Like the fact that Chris is a weapon in and of himself.

Bio: Melissa “Missy” Deakon is a thirty-five year old jazzorcize teacher at a trendy gym near Liberty Center called Curvables. She’s quite gorgeous and fit, and looks ten years younger than she is. She grew up the only child of a catholic family (which doesn’t happen often, catholics don’t believe in birth control) and she’s always dreamed of having a big family. Unfortunately she keeps failing to get pregnant. She’s been trying to for the past two years, ever since she met and married Tyler Deakon. She’s a health freak and a vegetarian, and is quite devout in her religious beliefs. She’s 5’9, red-headed, and always dresses fashionably.

All her life, Missy's been sheltered. She's gone to private schools and colleges, and given the best of everything. The most tragic thing in her life was the death of her father when she was still in highschool. He died because of cancer, and she's been worried about getting cancer ever since, since it's something that can easily be passed down through generations. She keeps that fear to herself, though, but gets checked regularly.

Some might say that having her father pass away when she was so young has given her a father complex, which is why she married a man so much older than her. But the truth is she went through a few bad relationships, and was just getting over a break up when she met Tyler. He was stable, she wasn't, and she found herself drawn to his calm, gentle manner. But there might be a bit of a father complex, still. She does find the bit of white hair at his temples extremely hot, after all.

She's not very accepting about some things, and can even be called judgmental, she had a very difficult time accepting that her son looked the way he did when he first was born. But once she's shown that she's being judgmental she tries her best not to be. There are a few exceptions, though, she hates liars and cheats, and one of the best examples of this is an old friend of Tyler's, named Axle Pryor.

She's an activist. She's the first in line to protest things such as whale hunting and planet abuse. She uses recycled material whenever possible and recycles regularly. She was in a few marches when she was younger, peaceful ones, of course. Had she been born a little earlier she would have been a hippy, or a flower child. She's been studying the new trend in clean energy with a very hopeful outlook, and has exchanged all her lightbulbs to the energy saving type.

She's a romantic. She's already daydreaming about the day that Chris and Rory get married, and believes that marriages should last forever, that priests should always do what's right, and that if something goes wrong, or just not the way she wants it, it's God's way of telling her to try something new. Those that love her find it hard not to want to live up to those difficult expectations.


Gram Barbara Normon
Barbara is a mid-late fifties widow, and Missy's mom. She's a very strict woman, to a point, but she has her moments of less than perfection. She appreciates good looking men, good workers, and bingo. She really likes bingo. She is a bit high maitanence, though, and she and Tyler go head to head on a regular basis. She thinks Tyler's too old for her daughter.

Priest Higgins
Father Pete Higgins is the Deakon's priest. He's thirty years old, and somewhat new to the profession. He has a not-so-secret crush on Missy, which he feels quite guilty about. Lucky for him, Missy hasn't realized it, even though Tyler has. Other than that crush he's a very devout believer and works hard to tend his flock, even at such a young age.
