Derek stopped in front of St. Basilicus High School. It wasn't much to look at. Just your average used-to-be-catholic-now-public school. He heard there was a chapel on campus, but he didn't know if it was used for anything. Of course he didn't, he didn't attend there. Or, to say it more accurately, he didn't yet. Derek hadn't been to public school for a couple of years, not since Alaskan Mangos got picked up by Argentum Entertainment. Since then, after a whirlwind debut, the band suddenly went from demos, garages, and no-name bars to top dollar recording studios, screaming fangirls and opening slots with big name bands. But they weren't that big. They hadn't made the top charts yet. And frankly, Argentum was getting a little impatient with their slow climb to fame. So they cracked a deal with Sollicito Studios, a studio from hollywood with ties in Japan and France, most famous for their recent sentimental vampire hit, "Snow For A Thousand Years." Anyway, the deal was that the guys could be "important minor characters" ("That's a contradiction of terms..." Remy muttered ominously.) in a new Sollicito Studios movie that was placed in a school setting. They would make two songs in the movie's soundtrack. It sounded like a pretty sweet deal to Derek. He never imagined he could actually be in a movie. Getting to play for screaming crowds was awesome enough, he couldn't imagine getting any bigger. Derek turned from the school and walked down the street. His guitar bounced on his back. However, the director, a really hardcore guy, or maybe better called a stubborn artist, said that these spoiled rockers couldn't dream of even acting as students. His point was "proven" after a couple of tryouts. He didn't even want to see Derek after he went through Aaron and Miles. Under pressure from the higher ups at Sollicito Studio, he told them they had to attend a public school to get themselves in the element. They can only return to their life of luxury after they've proven themselves to act as real students. Well. Whatever, Derek didn't mind going back to school. He needed a break anyway. He looked up to see a girl with long dark hair going towards the school. "Excuse me," he said and smiled, "Do you attend that school over there? Can you tell me what they do with the chapel? I'm curious... and I'd like to see it."

Molly looked up in surprise, since she hadn't noticed the boy there, though for her school, the boy really stuck out. "He seems better off than my family," Molly thought. "Yes, I got to this school. The chapel? Well, now they don't really use it for anything. A few clubs meet there every once and a while, but other than that, it's not in use. Do you want to go see it? I've got a key."

"Yeah, that'd be great," he smiled a little. He fell into step with her. "Cool! How'd you get a key? Do you have a job here or something?" Without waiting for her to answer, he rambled on. "I'm going to be going here soon... dunno when we're starting, I think I forgot... but anyway, I'm a freshman... So how'd you get a key?" (ooc: YES! crying It happened! Thank you! Now we have to get something good starting up X3)

Molly smiled to herself. "He reminds me of someone," she thought to herself. Outloud she said, "My sister is a teacher here. I got the key from her." Molly paused, then asked, "When you said you were starting here, you talked about a 'we.' Do you have brothers and sisters that are coming to this school, too?"

"Ah..." Derek sweatdropped. Uh-oh, uh-oh, what was he supposed to say? He was caught! He didn't know what the story was supposed to be! "Um, well, I live with these three other guys... um, not that's it's anything weird, it's like, we just hang out together, be-becuase we're orphans..." He zoned out. That was the worst lie ever. "Ha ha, just kidding, we're not orphans! We're just...yeah." Derek drooped. * Remy took off his sunglasses and looked up. "Do you hear something?" "Huh?" Miles looked up from his GQ. "Did you say something?" "I don't know, but my ears are burning." "Dude, you seriously need a life," Miles said as he looked back at his magazine. Remy didn't say anything for a moment. Then he out his sunglasses back on. "I hope Derek isn't doing anything stupid." "Aww, c'mon, it's Derek, what do we have to worry about. Now, if it were Aaron..." Remy sighed. *

It was obvious to Molly that he was lying. Not only that, but there was something going on that he didn't want her to know. She was okay with that. She decided to change the subject, but by that time, they had arrived at the chapel. "We're here," Molly said, as she unlocked the door. They both entered into the chapel. In the back of her mind, Molly was nervous. She was alone with a guy in a dark, creepy building...

The chapel doors closed behind them ominously. The chapel had old style pews that lead up to a platform. The building was long and high, and old-style stained glass pictures of Jesus, saints and angels filtered in tinted light. It was the only light in the room. Ok, so he completely screwed up with the whole undercover thing in the first conversation he had. Derek nervously looked around, biting his lip. Did she suspect something? Did she suspect something? Did she suspect something?! How could he know?! He couldn't just ask, that would be the worst thing! He had to just be casual, just be casual, and maybe she would forget. That was it. Just be casual. What would a person ordinarily think in this situation? Um... "Hey, um..." He realized he didn't know her name. He touched her shoulder to get her attention. "Are there any lights in this place?" He glanced at the stained glass. "Like real lights?" That's when Holden opened the door. He took the situation in at a glance. He glanced at Molly, then at this short, unknown, black kid. (Who had a rather showy and weird sense of dressing, like he thought he was a rocker or something. And who has cornrows anymore?) Holden noted they hadn't cared to turn the lights on. The mysterious kid, who had had his hand on Molly's back, took it back to himself quickly like only the guilty can. Holden looked at Molly. He stabbed his finger in the kid's direction. "Who's this?" he demanded, his voice strained. (OOC: Have fun with that! XD I haven't thought anything about Holden yet, so you can relate him to Molly in any way that would interest you the most :3)

Molly panicked. Holden. What was he doing here? Had he followed her? "Holden, this isn't at all what you think," Molly started. "He's new here, and he wanted to see the chapel." "He isn't going to believe me," Molly thought. Then out loud she said, "Holden, go home. And don't say anything to mom. Nothing is going on."

(OOC: A brother, eh? That's interesting... xd *strokes invisible beard* Poor Derek) Sure he was. Ignoring Molly, he turned to the kid. "What do you want with Molly?" Derek had two options: Stutter about how he was not gay but lived with three other orphans, or get out. This Holden guy wasn't exactly listening to 'Molly', so he might as well leave. He turned to Molly. "Uh, thanks for showing me the chapel." And then, he had a little spiteful idea. He kissed her cheek. And then he headed for the door.

Molly's cheeks turned into a dark maroon color as Derek kissed her on the cheek. "Why did he kiss me?" Molly thought, "Is he just trying to make things worse?" Derek left, and Molly was along with Holden. "Holden, I just met him. He's new. He wanted to see the chapel. Really, nothing happened."

(OOC: EDIT: I totally forgot what just happened. Excuse me while I inject some drama. *grabs the hypodermic needle*) Was it a challenge? Holden gritted his teeth and stared out after the kid who half ran away from the building. Was that the run of the guilty, or did he expect Holden to come after him? It was a challenge, wasn't it? Holden wanted to kill him, but he had to restrain himself. Had to. Had to. Holden took off after the kid.

"Holden, wait!" But her screams were not heard, or Holden decided to tune her out completely. Molly bit her upper lip, something she did when under stress. She silently prayed that Holden wouldn't kill the new guy, even though he did kiss her...

Derek didn't have to look around to check who was after him. What was this guys problem?! Well, he did kind of ask for it, but still... Derek took off down the street. His guitar whacked him on his back. He didn't have any idea what this guy was going to do to him when he caught him, but this guitar was precious, not to mention expensive. He wasn't going to let Holden hurt it. Derek tore down the street and ran towards what he hoped was the shopping district. It was actually a graveyard. Why a graveyard so close to a school?! Holden darted through the graveyard. He didn't know why this guy chose to go to a graveyard, but whatever, he knew this place a lot better than this kid, apparently. Derek tore through the graveyard, stumbling over tombstones and barely dodging pillars documenting the burial sights of the wealthy and the masons. The ominous pounding footsteps behind him changed from crunches to slams as his pursuer moved from grass to pavement to grass again. And then he caught the attention of a small group of mourners. Derek slid to a halt, and sort of nervously smiled. He quietly slid into the back of the group. The group was completely elderly, except for one girl who was dressed too pink for the occasion. He shot a glance up to the hill he just flew down. Holden teetered on the hill, debating his options in the situation. He threw Derek a dirty look and went off. Derek heaved a sigh. He never (or even tried) to figure out who's funeral it was, but in the end he stood around and socialized with the mourners. He acquired directions to the shopping district, and when they no longer offered their protection, he took off to that direction. Once safely there, he called Remy and got picked up. Miles and Aaron tagged along, and Derek got made fun of for various reasons. However, there was much interest in the object of Derek's lips, and they went out to dinner and toasted in the name of a new school and Derek's newfound hell. And then they went to bed, dreaming and fearing the events of the next day.

Molly was sitting in her room when Holden stormed into the house that night. She could hear his footsteps coming up the stairs, and she knew he was mad. Her door flew open. There he was, anger written on his face. She knew he was about to yell at her. She closed her eyes, waiting... When she could hear her mother calling them down to dinner. She was safe... for now...

OOC: Um, uh... *waves the Godmoding flag* Holden ain't abusive! Holden angrily hate his mashed potatoes, staring into his plate. He was pissed off that Molly was so innocent. Whether or not she knew or went with the kid wasn't important, the more he thought about it. She didn't know anything about guys, and it was as if she liked to keep it that. She liked to believe they were all wonderful and never had any ill intentions. Holden loved her too much to just let them use her. What pissed him off even more was how she got all scared of him like he was the bad guy. Geez! Whenever that kid decided to rear his cornrowed head again, Holden vowed to keep both his eyes trained on the kid. If he was going to pull anything again, he'd be there. OOC again: YAY! We're at 100!
