Here we post news about this upcoming and highly anticipated game as it is leaked, and also post guesses as to different aspects of the game, such as character's stories, new gameplay, etc. Any news will be added to the first post. Wii4Mii http://wii.ign.com/articles/810/810366p1.html This IGN link talks about "The Subspace Emissary," Brawl's single player mode. It's an entire sidescroller adventure! It's supposed to follow a plotline that will elaborate on the history and story of each character. Sexeh, no? This information was released on Smash Bros Brawl's website on Friday. Nevertheless, it does look ******** awesome. Do you want to use this thread to speculate on possible thread lines and alliances?

I wished I shared your, "******** Awesome" outlook on this, but alas, single player on Smash Bros is just an annoying ordeal you have to go throught to get more characters on multiplayer.
This sidescrolling thing will add more value to the singleplayer. As such, I'll probably play it longer before getting bored.

According to the Smash Bros website, each character will have a different one. That's cool, we can make it a sticky to put news and to guess about different aspects of the games and characters. I shall do that now.

First discussion: Which game do you think Samus' story will follow or be based on? I think because of the Zero Suit it will follow either Metroid: Zero Mission or the original Metroid.

There are a lot of true gems in here, including Akihiro Honda, who's probably going to make music for Snake's stage. Now, the one I find interesting is Tomoko Sasaki, who origionally worked on NiGHTS into Dreams. Many of you will remember the creative and amazing music that was one of the numerous strong points of the game. Now the question remains: what's he doing on Brawl? Possibly a NiGHTS stage or a Sega stage in general. Perhaps NiGHTS will appear as an assist trophy character with a musical opening. I'm guessing this is a pretty good sign for those who wanted Sonic in Brawl. Now all we need is for the next SSB to allow Mario to beat the crap out of Master Chief.
