Mwokoti didn't like these lands. She didn't like these lions. How horrible she was for willingly coming here, then, and asking for their help no less. She was not a stranger to this part of the world. There had been times she'd been here before. Times she'd brought cubs back to this place.

It pained her to see the enslavement some of them here suffered through, and again, she felt the acid of hypocrisy literally leaving a burning pain in her heart. Slavery had never been something she agreed with. Interfering with mortal lives had never been anything she'd agreed with, from a God's standpoint.

Yet, she was here to do both of those. But how could she not? All this mess... Her son was going to find his best friend eventually, and with her, the rest of the family. Mwokoti couldn't allow any risks to come to her only offspring. He was her son! And if she couldnt' even tell him, couldn't know him, she could protect him from afar, and she would. No matter what morals or standards of and for herself she would have to sacrafice in doing so.

If Mwokoti had ever been one to hide her appearence, as some of her kind did, she wouldn't do so now. No, she intentionally held her wings higher and her posture stiffer, knowing well these were lions of whom many attacked on sight, and she declared her stature as one of importance, not to be intimidated. Not to mention her size was two times that of a mortal.

Fainly, she remembered them believing in only one God in specific? It didn't matter to her. She was here with an offer, not to preach of her own exsistance.

Admittedly, it had been a long time. Back then, there were only reds, though she'd heard mumurs, recently, of ones of different coloring, though they were still rare. Even so, seeing the yellow mortal, only one option popped up: Slave.

"Hello," the Goddess greeted, not bothering with any other introduction. "I need to speak with...with your master."

Mpaji's head jerked up from the stone bowl he'd been carving out with a sharp forefinger, ready to scowl down whoever thought to test him. Mostly it as just other slaves, and though normally he'd be fine and friendly with their presence, today he needed his space. However, he kept his face distance just in case it was The Blood, or. .. .

What the hell?

His eyes widened in shock, as the think before him bore strange and feathered wings. Much like a bird, though he had not seen the likes of those in many a day. He didn't reason it to be a very friendly or good soul, if it was to see Uzulu.

There was only one kind that saw him.

He nodded and swept off, pretending to ignore the feather's and hoping she would either follow or stay put so he would not interupt Uzulu for no reason. The punishment for such an action would be severe, and lately he'd been wishing to test his bounds more and more. Just because, he needed to laugh, and not just around the cubs.

He climbed over rocks and stange statues that Kaanga and her offspring had built together, stopping only for a moment at a small place of water before fleeing into the cliffside where a small cave lay sheltered.

"Lord, a woman is here to see you." He did not elaborate on things, but merely allowed the scowl to come, and therein followed by a red and white lion.

Uzlulu peered around the cave first darkly, and then his eyes lit up a bit. He knew it was not Finar-si, for she was red, just like their purest of blood. But it was definately something from her world, whether it be a slave or not. It was yellow, perhaps she had created it as a pet, much like they enslaved the yellow pridelanders.

"What is it Finar-si has sent you for?" he asked, his eyes watching her carefully.

"I know not of who you speak," Mwokoti told him sternly. Her bias with mortals usually extended only to matters with Nishan, but again, she honestly did not care for these. A more vengeful God would have perhaps plauged or attacked him for daring such a question. Mwokoti was not the type. "I was sent by no one."

Her wings folded back. She made sure it was not in a manner that suggested anything other than she had no intention of flying away. "And I had no intention of finding a specific one of your kind."

Uzulu gruffed. She was full of complete crap, and if Finar-si found out about this, she'd likely be none too pleased. Her own servants, disobeying her so darkly. It was a bad business.

He gave a glance at Upendo'Mpaji who sat a great distance away, pretending to stare out over the sands far below.

Well, it was lucky that she found him, then, because he wasn't going to attack her for being an impudent wretch. "Why then, have you come?" he played along, though his head wanted nothing more than to turn her away. She was as welcome here as she felt.

When push came to shove, Mwokoti was a Goddess. It was true, her domain centered around helping mortals, but she never forgot she was a higher power than them. She'd helped take down another Goddess, a mortal would be no problem if he got too mouthy.

She in no way wanted it to resort to that. If it did, she wasn't afraid. As long as she got what she wanted for once. "I'm bringing you a slave," she told him. It wasn't an offer. "I know how your kind feels about bloodline, but she's pretty for what it's worth, and strong."

Uzulu took a look over at Upendo'Mpaji, who's face lit up when the words hit. The boy would do for a bit of company, and a bit of help. He was a practically worthless slave, except for he was huge and worked well with Kaanga and the children.

One more would do them good.

"Can she hunt?" Upendo'Mpaji could not, but he'd send him with her just to keep an eye on the slave when she came. Plus, this could turn out to be a very profitable thing indeed. Say the two had cubs? Who knew what wonders that could break when he shipped them off to the royal houses, save his own?

It all worked very well.

"Then she can stay."

He almost thought he caught the current slaves mood turn sour, but he couldn't be sure.

"Is that all?"

Mwokoti wouldn't have known if it hadn't been for that last meeting. Then again, if it hadn't been for that, she wouldn't be here at all. She also remembered Ohahira telling her a lion she'd been very fond of had taught her well before he vanished, all while Nyumbani had been sleeping. She did feel bad for the lioness, to an extent. But Nishan...

"Yes," came the certain reply. To his next question, she answered the same, and waited for him to turn himself before leaving. Mwokoti didn't trust these lions even more than she disliked them, and the day she'd turn the back on them was the day she'd be reborn again.

Death was something she longed for, but she had more dignity than to be killed by anything less than another God.

Now... Ohahira.
