Yakuti was surely right, for ever so close, a hyena had cagught the smell in the wind; both that of a lion, and a hyena. Hyena's were much his prefference, and he'd show up to help, obviously.

Soon he was at the scene, blinking his amusement; a pup and a young lion? Compared to a grown hyena, Hakan was still rather small, but Yakuti was absolutely puny, and he was amused to see that it seemed to be having a good hand.

"Well well, what do we have here? "

He grins, looking at the lion, then at Yakuti. "Good pup, Mafa bring you in? "

Kimaria
Hakan's ears twitched back to listen to the other hyena but for now his concentration settled solely on the blue pup, eyes narrowed. "Well, well another one come for a beating, eh?" He muttered, a shimmer of annoyance in his eyes.

Those ebony claws unsheathed as he stalked closer, moving quietly against the ground.

Then once again he was diving forwards, powerful hind legs propelling him towards the hyena as he snapped out at his neck. Hopefully the appearance of the other hyena had distracted the little one enough. He had no intention of killing the thing...yet. No, no, no he wanted to see the fear in it's eyes. Perhaps he'd even let it live so that it would always be able to keep the memory of the dark lion in his nightmares.

"Wha-?" Yakuti said, but was cut off, the lions hopes came true, the other hyena distracted him, if only for a moment. But it seemed that a moment was all the lion needed, Yakuti was knocked into the ground, hard. He felt the lions claws pierce his flesh as he made contact.

But he wouldn't give Hakan the satisfaction of seeing him scared, He looked him in the eyes and said, "Go on, do it then, he'll get you," Yakuti said, indicating Tibuka, apparently he was also in the pack, "Yes, Mafa brought me in," He said, talking casually as though nothing was going on, "If you take out this lion, make sure she knows that he's not worth much." He sneered, "He almost got beaten by a pup."

Nodding to acknowledge what the pup said, the male hyena thrusts forward towards the lion at ramming speed while he seems worried with the pup, no point in letting a good one go, correct? This pup would be good sometime, already in fights with lions? Just wonderfull.

His paws move silently between the bones, he clearly remembers his fight with the Maziko pride queen, and if he got the lion off its paws, it'd be much better.

The female was growing a little more lithe with each journey she made and fight she picked. Her limbs were lined with a muscle she had been wanting to use against her enemy for some time now. They had come so close in their last encounter, and though he had pounced her, the brute was too weak to do anything. She laughed loudly.

However she had been following his scent for a while, and now she noticed it was mixed with the strong smell of blood. She felt a pang of worry strike her stomach and frowned. Ha, why was she worried about him?! Sneaking foward, her eyes fell upon two hyena, and Hakan looking a little worse for wear.

Kimaria
"Shut your mouth, runt!" His voice boomed with an explosive anger, the sound rumbling from deep within his chest as he leered over the hyena. He was a brave one atleast, facing death with a calmness that Hakan hadn't expected. He felt a surge of power from his position holding the hyena pinned to the ground and suddenly craved to taste the sweet blood. He beared his fangs and dug his claws sharply against the beast beneath him. For a moment he could see the victory flashing before his eyes and then suddenly he was being rammed.

His strangely muscular body tensed, the claws that had been fixed in Yakuti sliding along the skin as he struggled to keep a grip on him. His head twisted around as he tried to get his teeth fixed around the new attacker as he set his hind paws firmly against the ground to keep his balance.

Too focused on the matter at paw he did not notice Mbaya's approach.

Athear_Vaeri
As Tibuka rammed into Hakan, his claws slid across the side of his neck, that was going to scar... It burned terribly but he held back his whimper and turned into an enraged growl.

The pup wriggled free of the lion as Tibuka rammed him, turning to face the lion yet again, he also was to absorbed in the current situation to notice the new arrival.

"I thought we went over this lion, you aren't taking me withought serious consequences," And with that, he darted around the lion, snapping at his legs and tail in an attemt to distract him. There was no way that he could deal with two hyenas at once.

Win.

The lion was loosing his balance, and moving a step back from the bite, Tibuka pushed his side against the lions to further unbalance, or knock him over.

To make sure he did something, he nipped at the lions shoulder, ears folding backwards as the hyena didn't fancy loosing them today.

`Zoe
Mbaya suddenly felt a bubble of anger rise, to meet in her throat with a vicious snarl. Bounding near to the hyena that was wrestling with Hakan, she smiled simply. "Need some help do you?" Calming, her silky voice echoed. "Oh dear, looks like you got into a bit of trouble." She leant closer to Hakan, her taunting smile lingering on her maw. Swiftly, Mbaya pawed at the hyenas side, a strong blow intended so the creature would lose its balance. "So, need some help then, "warrior"..."

Kimaria
Hakan snarled, whiskers twitching as he hissed and tucked his tail around a hind leg to keep it away from the snapping of the hyena's jaws. "Oh, and what consequences are these? You really think you and short stuff here can beat me?" He scoffed, lashing out with a forepaw in an attempt to slash the blue pup across the face, or at the very least to try and get him to back off for a moment.

It was then that the newest arrival shoved him and he staggered forwards, the n** just catching the air by his shoulder. He'd had just about enough of this now and with a yowling roar he shoved backwards sharply, using his size to try and knock the other away. The blue one first, the other pup later. "Wait your turn." He yelled, bristling angrily as he tried to stay in control of the situation. Things were beginning to get a little more difficult.

It was then that Mbaya made her surprising appearance and suddenly he found himself smiling a little. "Well hello there princess." He lowered his body a little more. "Who am I to deny you a fight?" His voice sounded almost...flirtacious?

He wasn't exatly going to turn away help in this case, and he knew Mbaya to be a reliable fighter.

Athear_Vaeri
Ugh another lion... Great... But at the moment Yakuti was busy trying to get Hakan, the other one wasn't doing anything yet and could be delt with later.

"Turn? What turns are you talking about?" He jeered, the lion was obviously getting irritated with the sudden need to multitask. "Hey, is that your girlfriend?" He taunted as Hakan as he spoke to the lioness.

Yakuti backed up a bit to avoid the paw lashing, only to return with another attempt to jump onto the lions back to get at his neck again, this time falling on his side would expose him to Tibuka, so it would be a very difficult situation for him.

"Scratch up his belly if he knocks over, pup. Its a weak spot, yelp if he pins you. This is going to be interesting. "

The adult hyena blinks his amusement as another young one shows up, only this time female. He pushes his paws more strongly to the side against the black one, and without waiting to see if there was a result, he jumps away, landing close to Mbaya's side instead.

Lowering his body to get into a shorter position to the lion, his hind legs propell him forward, jaws open to bite at any lump he could manage.

`Zoe
Mbayas eyes narrowed, but she couldn't help smiling at Hakan. Pinning her ears back, she slid away from the older hyena, stumbling beneath him, arriving somewhere between his back legs. Instincively, she bite the first thing she came into contact with, and felt her teeth crunch against the bone of the adults leg. Feeling a throbbing pain in her mouth, she crept underneath and turned to Yakuti, eyes ablaze.

Kimaria
"G-girlfriend?" He sounded almost embarrased by the comment. "N-no of course she isn't!" He snapped fiercely, "I have a strong dislike for her but I hate you more, so for now she's bearable."

Then suddenly the older hyena moved away to get to Mbaya and for the first time in a long while he was able to concentrate solely on the pup. Thus he was easily able to leap sideways to avoid being caught due to the fact he didn't have someone shoving against him.

He span almost mid-air, forepaws clawing into the ground to bring his leap to a halt so that he could pounce again. How had things gone so wrong?

All he had wanted was to explore and now he'd gotten himself into the most ridiculous situation.

His aim now was to knock the pup unconscious and help Mbaya get the elder one to back off. Then he'd take his leave. The hyenas weren't worth the effort and he was concerned his mother would notice his dissapearance and be worried about him.

Athear_Vaeri
Yakuti smirked, "Why so nervous? Sounds like she is, you just don't want me to know it!" He teased, careful to watch both of the lions, the newer one had a fire in her eyes and looked furious.

But Yakuti couldn't deal with two lions so well, as Hakan pounced at him he didn't react fast enough and ended up pinned to the ground, the lion was going to kill him this time, he was quite sure, and now Tibuka was occupied with Mbaya, he was terrified but still unwilling to give the lion the satisfaction of letting it show on his face.

wooga Paes
A lion sliding under you wasen't easy to miss, and Tibuka has leapt away from Mbaya before she could land her bite, though thinking to himself that she was obviously not as dull as the black male. But he didn't turn to face her, his eye caught the lion that had once again pinned Yakuti.

Damned pup, just save him and he's already on the ground?

He failed to notice that instead of Mbaya's bite grabbing his bone, her teeth and scracheded town at one of his back paws, wich if he haden't been distracted enough with Yakuti; would be stinging painfully.

"I said yelp if you're pinned! You mustn't die! Keep at my heels if you must! "

He snarls; he wasen't about to let, probably, the most usefull current pup be killed, would he? The annoying female could wait, but he had to save bluey-there first. With a snarl, he lunged towards the two; for a moment it seemed like he was heading for Yakuti, but his open jaws directed at the closest of Hakan's paws.

`Zoe
Thinking fast and cursing at the bad aim of her previous lunge she looked to Yakuti and Hakan and moved between them and Tibuka swiftly. Hopefully she would create a barrier or maybe even a head on collision. Wait... Her eyes widened. Was she protecting him?

Shaking away the thoughts, she snarled and kept her body sturdy, tail moving in an irritated fashion.

Kimaria
Hakan was looming over the pup - not to kill him - but to snarl a threat. There was that rage again in his eyes, brought about by the simple words that this blue hyena spoke of. "Thanks to you and your friend, you have made an enemy for no reason. Today you could have left me alone. But no. You chose to pick a fight and in doing so gained another enemy. You've only done your pack more harm by bringing them new foes." For it was probably true.

If Yakuti had not made an appearance Hakan would have done a bit of exploring, gotten bored and left, probably for good. Yet here he was, standing over the little scratched up pup with the anger clearly readable in his eyes.

It was then that Tibuka's words met with his ears and though he sensed that he should probably move out of the way he knew if he did so the little pup would be released. Didn't they realise that he had no intention of killing them? Hakan was just a bully, he was not a petty murderer. He just liked to scare others with his strength. He bristled, and strengthened his grip onto the pup so that if he was wrenched free he wouldn't be torn away without doing some damage.

He was only just aware that Mbaya was close by, though how close he wasn't too sure.

Athear_Vaeri
Oh yeah... Yakuti had completely forgotten to yelp, he had been so determined to not let his fear show that he had remained silent. Then the lion spoke... "As I said before, I am on orders to kill any of your kind who comes here!" He snarled, "How was I to know that you and your girlfriend would fight rather than listen to reason? There are more than just the two of us, and you can barely handle that!"

Insulting the lion always made him feel better, and then he remembered that he was supposed to go for his underside, so he began to lash out with his free hind legs, upwards toward the lions stomach, hopefully to at least claw him a bit.

wooga Paes
"See, wee cublet, the more fights ya pick wit lions here, the better, capiche? "

Tibuka wasen't dumb, he dodged easly away from Mbaya, and now rather close to Hakan, attempted to bite the closest paw once more, no room between them for the kids little girlfriend to butt in, though if the lion jumped off, he'd misse it.

His strategy though, wasen't drag Hakan off, he knew from Ishara how dragging away of reach would be painfull, still boring wound from the battle, and he didn't want to need to grab the pup and make a getaway so he woulden't die. The idea was squeeze the paw and make it hurt, if the lion didn't withdraw, he could be facing a horribly maimed, broken paw, and an infection if he didn't clean the wound and stop the bleeding soon enough. The hyena's body was kept low, keeping his throat and stomach safe, almost touching the ground.

`Zoe
As her effort to intervene was ruined again, she swore loudly, her legs crouched as she fell close to the ground, brushing her stomach against the cold ground, eyes wide as she watched the adult hyena near Hakan. She suddenly felt a strange pang, an urge to protect him, even though it was obvious he could fend for himself. Again her stomach was playing tricks on her head... So she simply stood there, confused and dazed.

Kimaria
"Don't kid yourself!" Hakan snarled, no longer caring what the pup said. He could have killed it by now and knowing that was enough for him. He growled as he felt the pup's hind legs make contact with his belly.

Yet it was in that moment that he sensed the elder hyena coming at him and with a fierce roar that rumbled deep within his chest he leapt, powerful jaws snapping as attempted to fasten himself around Tibuka's neck, claws and teeth ready to sink in and hold him there.

This did of course set the pup free but he doubted the thing had enough energy left to do much more. He was still young and had much to learn. It was time to take out the adult and with Mbaya close by he was sure the two would be able to conjure up a victory.

Athear_Vaeri
Okay, obviosly the taunting wasn't working, so he just stopped, and growled as Hakan continued to stand over him. When he was released in an attempt to get Tanaka, he quickly sprang upwards, but Hakan was right in thinking that he was low on energy, he staggered slightly and winced as he stood on his hurt paw, growling at himself and trying to keep himself standing, but he couldn't, all this fighting coupled with a bit of blood loss made hime extremely weak.

The graveyard began to spin as he stood, blinking his eyes and trying to focus, he couldn't stand any longer, and collapsed onto the ground, releasing a loud bark to let Tanaka know before losing conciousness...

When the lion had leapt off Yakuti, Tibuka had attempted to dodge, but all he managed was to get the lion away from hi neck, and onto his back. He bit back a yelp as the lions fangs and claws dug into his shoulder blades, sending a pulse of pain through his body, but he grinned with amusement at how this cub was being harder than an adult; another insult to spit at the damned lioness queen if he ever saw her again, and had enough time to give her a round two.

Though, his attention fell upon the pup again; damn, maybe it'd been in this struggle longer than he'd thought. A living hyena was better than wasting time with these two lions, and as for one being on his back.. Well, persay if he hanged on, Tibuka would be taking a little 'present' for Mafa to finish off, hmm? She did seem to love it when lions got hurt, perhaps she liked it even more doing it herself.

"Stay if you like, punk, just a good little present for my pack when I get back, many of them haven't seen a good lion to kill in quite a while, And you too can follow, " He directed towards Mbaya. "The more the merrier, and the more food we have, anyways. "

A bit relucant to move and push the pain forward, Tibuka moved towards Yakuti and picked the blue pup up, trying to pretend not to mind Hakan's sharp claws through his flesh, even if as soon as the thing was gone, he'd be in for a painfull wound tending. Damn he haden't felt that in a while, the Maziko queen haden't managed to do much to him, this cub was very good at giving the male a taste of what a /good/ lion could do.

Even though the pain hurt more if he moved his shoulders, he forced himself to ignore it, soothing his mind with the idea that if he arrived at the pack with a lion on his back, it'd be torn apart by Mafa, and maybe some of the others that were there. That Rasuli one might be there to, he seemed willing to fight lions, didn't he?

He forced his paws forward, passed Mbaya with no apperent acknowledgment of the lioness, jumped easly over skulls and headed towards the center of the hyena territory where Mafa was likely to be, raising his head and letting out a loud sort of howl mixed with a bark to announce his arrival to any hyena's that might be around, furry tail in the air like a banner, not attempting to shake the lion off; it wished to stay, its choice, he couldn't do much to it while Hakan was on his back, but who said he was so big that other hyena's couldn't easly reach it?
