That's pretty messed up of your friend to do something like that to you. I would be pissed, to be blunt. It really doesn't seem like she had good intentions to me. I mean, I don't know the whole story, but from hearing what you told us, I don't see how she was trying to make you feel good.
Convincing a friend to admit their love to another person when you know that they don't have feelings for said friend is a backstabbing, malicious, and cruel thing to do.
I apologize if it seems like I'm bashing one of your close friends. It's nothing against her, she just did something stupid/mean. There's no excuse for lying, especially to friends, the people you're supposed to trust the most.
If you want to stay friends with her and make an attempt to fix this, you need to calmly talk to her about what she did. You have to tell her why you feel what she did was wrong and especially how it made you feel.
If things like this have happened before, you might want to consider keeping things from her or not taking her advice anymore. Sorry I can't be more of a help, I don't have much experience with these things.
