Because she acts on a whim, and it gets her in trouble. ...
I think that's what bravery is.

yha its both, she is really brave but sometimes shes an idiot its like she said "I made one of my famouse snap desicions which either end up being considered genius or complety idiotic"....or something along thouse lines I dont remeber it word for word.

I think it's a little of both. She does seem to act, and make choices without thinking everything all the way through, but because she does that I think that makes her brave. Espeically considering most of her choices are for her own, and the flocks survival.

IMO, Maximum Ride is by far the bravest girl I've ever read about. She takes care of so many people and ALWAYS puts herself last. Some may classify this as idiocy, but this is plainly her personality and morals. She's a problem bearer and will always put her problems last. And with acting without thinking...She doesn't have much time to think, neh? I think that's how she grew up. To make decisions on a whim. I know I wouldn't think about all the possibilities if tons of Refrigerators with Wings were coming my way.

well its a little of both, really. i mean sure, she does a couple of stupid things, but she has the bravery to fix the things she messed up, instead of running away and letting poor little angel or nudge fix her mistakes

She's brave! Idiotic is a bit much in my opinion, she always does what she thinks is right, even if she put 0.02 seconds of thought into it...maybe its because of the Voice in her head...
