OK! Ready for Round 2?!?!
Character to Design... A-20 from .hack//SIGN!
Give it yoru best ppl! and remember! the same rules apply!
Heres the rules

Rules_____
1. It must also be "creatable" in gaia. Which means try to avoid layering things that you normally couldnt. I know Tektek doesnt restrict what you can put on at all confused
2. BIG RULE - I do not want any of the same cosplays here. be creative. if i see 2 ppl with the EXACT same items on... sorry but both are disqualified =( Sorry guys but if everyone does the same thing I cant Judge.
3. You must write the words "Useless Submissive Twinblade" in your post when you post your or I wont even consider your entry. (yes im gunna start making it like keywords now XD)
4.Contest Ends PROMPTLY at 12 AM (midnight) in US Eastern time. Anything entered after that time shall not count.

Grats!
Slate you were close but there was a few minor things Shialu caught you on. The choice of pants for one and the eyes/hair just seemed to fit better on hers. grats to Shialu ^_^

Congratulations! hat was a wonderful A-20 and you caught both items i was looking for. 2 Swords of Aegis and the glasses for her eyes. hell you even did one without her squinting XD Congrats!

the "Rare Item" is more Mirielle than Mistral.)

Almost there guys! I get out of work at 12 so i will judge when i get home but I am REALLY liking Shialu and Slate! Shialu has one slight little edge on Slates... I will leave him to figure out what it is tho =)

Wow. I thought I might have won. Oh well,
guess I'll explain my reasoning behind the
items.
Hat: ORLY was a must, though I did mull
over the Joker hat for a minute. I thought
you would appreciate the Phoenix Halo I
put there to mimic the gold on her hat
that is absent from the original ORLY.
Hair: If you'll check every image of Mistral
she has floppy bangs coming through her
hat, as opposed to the neatly tucked behin
the ears. Plus, mistral's hair isn't truly long;
it's actually pretty short in the back (I looked
at original concept art sketches where Mistral
had
Eyes: I knew I should have chosen those
eyes, but then again, I didn't really think
the eyes were a determining factor since
they can so easily be changed. I just
thought of a cute and bubbly personality,
and those came to mind.
Top: The shoal was a must in my opinion.
It's always present, so that is why I added
the Solar Cloak. With her shirt, the ONLY
reason I didn't go with the one Shialu picked
was because Mistral had really baggy sleeves.
I wanted to still show them, but I guess it
didn't matter.
Belt: Never have I seen Mistral with a belt. My
original concept (in fact I checked it and it was
still there) had the G Belt Buckle with gave a
more accurate representation without giving
her a literal belt.
Pants: I chose them mainly to still reveal
the leg warmers that Mistral appears to
have over her shoes. I saw Shialu's pants,
but they cause the elg warmers to be hid-
den. The pants, though not exactly accurate
and a little bit dark, still exposed the cute
leg warmers. I mixed the Bone Helm pants
and boots because they gave the illusion of
really baggy pants.
Shoes: Mistral has a combination of leg warm-
ers and dark shoes, one thing absent from
Shialu's. I put them there because it adds a
touch of innocence. But I guess that wasn't
needed either, considering all the details I
put in were apparently not needed in the
winner's choice.
References:
I constantly went back and forth and even though
I hated how it came out, I thought it was pretty
accurate considering all of the details I placed in-
to it.

Slate's is a bit better if you were trying to base it on accuracy. Though based on what I did, I thought you wanted it as an avatar on Gaia so I tried to make it proportional, with items that could layer properly and look good together as a whole. But you told me I needed to change some things, so I changed the hair and staff to fit the actual colors more.
Orly might have worked better now that I look at it, even with the eyes and hair. But my shoes pwned all of yours xD
