James Nesbitt. Which is cool. He is sexy. If you don't know who he is, he recently stared as Tom Jackman in 'Jekyll'. :3 Here's what The Sun says. But it isn't confirmed. This is just a rumour...thing. Keep that in mind in your discussion, k?

If the Sun was right, we'd be on our 14th incarnation right now. So no, I don't believe it and surely they could do a bit better. He's a fine actor but not the Doctor at all.

Cow Demon Gigglemeister Oh, gawsh, my mom's going to throw a hissy fit if they replace David Tennant. Um, he's leaving at the end of S4. XD I know, but she can't grasp the fact the the Doctor has to regenerate at some point in time. Ohh, Gary Oldman would make a decent Doctor.

I stand by what I've said over and over again. Don't believe anything until offically confirmed.
Cow Demon, do you know for definite that David's going?

Well, this was posted on Outpost Gallifrey today - Quote: Doctor Who writer Steven Moffat, writing on Outpost Gallifrey's own discussion forum, has dismissed the rumours circulating in recent days concerning the casting of Northern Irish actor James Nesbitt as the 11th Doctor. Moffat's comments are reproduced below for our readers' information. Quote: The James Nesbitt story is a total fabrication. Made up. A fantasy. Just a guy sitting at a desk and just inventing stuff. I wasn't going to say anything, but I'm getting embarrassed for the deeply wonderful Jimmy Nesbitt. So tell everyone please, cos it's getting very silly. Steven Moffat So, I assume that, unless you truly want to believe it to be true regardless of anything, that kind of nips that rumor.

I'm glad that's just a rumour. I agree that Gary Oldman would make a great new Doctor, though. 3nodding Can anyone think of others they would want to play him?

Yay!
It is getting very silly now. Another week, another new Doctor rumour. I feel sorry for David. It's like the newspapers WANT him to go, but the fans don't!! The papers must be getting desperate and they know that Doctor Who stories mean they sell loads of copies.
As I said before, I'm waiting for official confirmation.
