GuidelinesEvery Rp should have guidelines, I don't care how experienced you are, no two Rp's are the same, including the rules and skeleton. Sure, all my regulars may feel weary of it, but all the same, read the guidelines.
- You
may start the Rp as a Liv if you wish.
- Your PC should have a decent background, it doesn't have to tie into the story, but you must be prepared if the subject of "the past" ever comes up.
- Try to make him/her as unique as you possibly can, dark histories don't appeal to me. Loners don't appeal to me.
- Power isn't exactly proportionate to age, keep that in mind.
- Liv's and Len's are equal in their own rights.
- You are not able to enter as a Los Magus. No exceptions.
Magi and MagusMagi and Magus. It all comes down to magic once again. Now if you read my teaser statement, you will have read that mage's won't be mage's in the typical sense. Well, this is truth. Because in order to play Megiddo, you have to be a Mage. Or Magus. A Magus graduates from the University of Lapto at the age of 11, to preform darkness vanquishing missions.
All Magus are equipped with a Basic Prima Materia, but all the good ones are found in dungeons and heathen god temples, through junctioning, they equip an element and are trained to manipulate it, and form Magi, an elemental attack, combined with either Spirit or Body, Form or Soul. For more information on Prima Materia and Junctioning, see the respective sections.
SpiritWhen you compound Spirit into a Magi, it means that it comes from within the body, and is usually shot out, like fire freathing, or a frosty touch. Spirit is a basic skill that all Magus are expected to use.
BodyWhen you compound Body into a Magi, it means that it comes outside or on the body. Examples of this would be Water Walking, Healing as well as creating or empowering items. Body is a basic skill that all Magus are expected to use.
FormSlightly more complicated, Form adds shape to a Magi, be it a Spirit or Body type. Adding Form to a Magi makes it 10x more destructive due to the refinement of it. It is only expected of Fel Magus or Los Magus.
SoulSlightly more complicated, Soul adds your own Emotion to a Magi, be it a Spirit or a Body type. Adding Soul to a Magi makes it more versatile and flexible, and essentially, the strongest quality of all. It is only expected of Los Magus.
The differenceLensNot everybody is born a Lens. The Len's is a normal person, without heightened intentions to kill, lie or cheat. They live life as they were ment to until they are Inflicted. Unlike the Livs, Lens can harness the element of Aether.
The Lens are more competent in Soul and Spirit type Magi, as their alignment is not corrupted or severed. They are capable of Form and Body, but due to the fact that they haven't crossed over, they have not achieved an open mind in terms of Magi.
Lens Type of Prima Materia is only compatible for the following elements:
+ Fire
+ Wind
+ Flora
++ Ice
++ Wood
++ Metal
+++ Aether
LivsSome people can actually be born a Liv, they have it easy, as their mind is not mature, and will be capable of overcoming TSIN due to pure innocence. The Liv's are destroyers by nature, they all the evil intentions locked into the Len's that are locked subconscious are released. Only those with strong wills and resolve should be able to overcome the TSIN. The period of TSIN subsides only until the Liv is ready to let it go, this is easier said than done. Unlike the Lens, Livs can harness the element of Nyx.
The Livs are more competent in Form and Body type Magi, as their alignment is corrupted or severed. They are capable of Soul and Spirit, but due to the fact that they have crossed over they have achevied an open mind in terms of Magi and even more capable that Lens,
Livs Type of Prima Materia is only compatible for the following elements:
+ Water
+ Earth
+ Lightening
++ Sand
++ Eri
++ Void
+++ Nyx
MagiWhat makes a strong Magi Technique? I will explain and rank the types of Magi.
E Ranks - Just a Magi with an element infused, very easy to use, also, typically weak. But the beauty with E ranks, they are very easy to upgrade by adding Spirit, Body, Form or Soul to it.
D Rank - A Magi with an element and Spirit or Body infused in it. It is a typical Magi used by Norma Magus.
C Rank - A Magi with an element and both Body and Form infused to it. It's a typical Magi used by Norma Magus and Fel Magus.
B Rank - A Magi with an element and both Spirit and Soul infused to it. It's a typical Magi used by Fel Magus
A Rank - A Magi with an element and Spirit + Body with either Form or Soul. It's used by Los Magus.
S Rank - Magi with an element and all components added to it. It is the most difficult and personal Magi. It can be taught, and if it is, it has to be modified so it can be compatible. It is probable that a Magus will only be able to have 1 S Rank Magi in an entire life time.
MagusWhen a Magus leaves the university of Lapto, they are a fully fledged Magus, but as they advance they are promoted to higher ranks, thus enabling higher pay and more dangerous missions.
Norma MagusA Norma Magus is a Magus that has graduated the Magi Academy Branch in Lapto or any other University. They are limited to low-risk missions and are considered rookies. They usually don't have expert Magi control and can't keep up with the higher ranks. When on a mission they usually have to be accompanied by a Fel Magus. The common age for a Norma Magus would be 12-19, depending on the date they entered the Magi Academy.
Fel MagusFel Maguses are much more adept than the Norma Magus, as they have been somewhat veteraned and have accumulated much more skill and experience. The are limited to low to medium risk missions and are the middle rank or the Maguses. They have satisfactory Magi control and it is at this rank when they are expected to work on their practical leave thesis, which is their own personal S Rank Magi. They are give 5 years to complete it and it is not expected to be completed until they are promoted to Los Magus. At this stage, Fel Magus are able to do solo missions without the aid of a higher ranking Magus. The expected age for a Fel Magus would be 16-31.
Los MagusThe highest ranking Magus with authority over civilians and lower ranking Magus alike. These are the elites of elites, and their are only a handful of them. They are expected to accept high risk missions on a daily basis and have superior Magic control. This enables them to utilize their personal S Rank technique flawlessly. Los Magus can command a troop but are expected to do accept solo missions as they are the most high risk out of all of them. The expected age for a Los Magus would be 24-70.

Prima Materia, an artifact left by Metatron, Uriel and Razael, three great legendary Lens. It takes any shape and form (such as a sword or a book), that you can junction an element to. This artifact was founded by two men known as Des Dilanifer and Cid Hilda.I, II, III and IVPrima Materia, like any other weapon, comes in different degrees of strength. To find a Prima Materia, you have to look in areas that have strong importance to the history tied to Lens or Livs, depending on the type you want.
ILevel I, these Prima Materia are the weakest of the bunch, the fist examination of the Lapto University is to find their Prima Materia, and it is also the Magus' first mission. With this level of Prima Materia, you can junction only 1 element to it. It is incapable of compounding and Perfect Sync.
IILevel II, vastly stronger than level I, it requires a much higher Magi Control to wield. You are able to junction 2 elements and compound them together. It is incapable of Perfect Sync.
IIILevel III, only suitable to Fel Magus or Los Magus, it requires an incredible amount of Magi and Magi Control, and you are able to junction 3 elements. You are able to junction 3 elements and is capable of Perfect Sync.
VIThe ultimate, Level VI. Finally, a level VI Prima Materia is a Level III that has being perfectly Sync'd. It has incredibly strength and can refine Magi a lot more adeptly than the other three. However, it requires an incredible amount of Magi and Magi Control to wield, but you can junction 4 elements that you compound. Also, you can have two compounds if you wish.
Perfect SyncWill be explained when the time is right.
Aether Flama
Aether Gala
Aether Gaia
Nyx Stroma
Nyx Qua
Nyx Bolta

Wtf is Junctioning? It's when you equip an element to your Prima Materia. How many elements can you junction to your Prima Materia? Now thats a question of strength of the Prima Materia's part, if you junction an element to a low-leveled Prima Materia, it just may asplode.
How I meak Junction?Well first you need to obtain an element ether, and merge it with your Prima Materia. Now, element ether is drawn from the element itself, such as wind, say you wanted wind. What you'd do is you'd go into an area with an abundance of wind, such as a mountain. Your
elemental ether with draw the essence from the wind with your concentration and Magi control.
You start with 1 primary element, as you advance you collect more. The maximum amount of elements you can collect is 4.
CompoundingCompounding is slightly more complicated, to compound an element you have to go through the TSIN stage and obtain a new element, Ex, if you wanted to obtain the element of Ice, you'd have to obtain Wind as a Lens and Water as a Liv. Step two, merge the essences, long process, the first PC who has it done first will be shown how its done. Compounding increases your destructive power by 2.
