ANYONE WITH ANY THREAD ART OR CLUB PLEASE PM ME NOW
Gaia Gay Pride Weekend Rally
Who: The gays of gaia and their straight allies
When: Saturday and Sunday December 4th and 5th beginning 12:01 AM
Where: Chatterbox, General Discussion, anywhere you can figure you can put a thread without having it moved
What: There are over 100,000 gay gaians and it's time we stood up against the harassment and let people know that we're here. The following things should take place on the aforementioned dates
-Threads: create threads with titles like "We're Here, We're Queer, We're Gaians too!" or "Gaia Gay Pride Weekend Rally" or something of that ilk. Make maybe about 10 or more boards and keep the not-so-straight ones posting all day long to make sure that the boards stay up towards the top so we can get noticed. We have to make a BIG deal or it won't work
-Avatars: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. Dress all in one of those colors or hey, dress in all of them if you can. The more the better
-Art: If anyone can come up with some new and original Pride art for the threads please make some!
-Bars: There are dozens and dozens of Gay hangouts in the Chatterbox. I say we go in and chat the hell away to keep them at the top
-Mini-shops: Make and sell pride siggies, bumps, art etcetera
Why- So that the Gays of Gaia can get noticed!
ALSO IMPORTANT:
If you have a thread, a specific pride type bump or picture or siggy goody that you want sold, an idea for something else we can incorporate into this event, please PM me!
If you are in an LGBT related guild make a notice! Make sure we can get as many people as possible involved!
If you have any ideas for logos for some boards please PM me.
If you want a subscription to the Gaian Gay Straight Alliance's Newsletter and other updates and notices from the GGSA, add "GayStraightAlliance" to your friendlist. Although if you are getting this... you most likely have already sweatdrop
If you have something to say in the article I am writing for the Gaia times please PM me, if you have seen harassment on Gaia or have been harassed or just have some good fact to put in then by all means pitch it in, the more the better.
I will create a "flagship" thread for the cause. I will put links to any other pride weekend thread on it if you PM me the URL. Also if your guild has a project that they wanna make and display I will put those up or you could put them in your own thread.
A LIST OF LINKS FOR GAY CLUBS, PRIDE ITEM SHOPS ETCETERA WILL BE SENT OUT ON DECEMBER 3RD!

Okay, I guess I will be the first to disapprove this idea. I don't think its a good idea. I mean straight people dont have straight pride rallys. It would in fact seem homophobic if they did. I dont think we should flaunt our sexualities, now I dont think we should hide them either, but I just dont think its a good idea to brag your sexuality... do you see what Im saying?
