What pairing got you into Yugioh yaoi? For me it was YamiyugixYugi and it was my friend told me about this great story that she read with that pairing since she knew that I like yaoi she was like check it out you might like it and I did. What got you into Yugioh yaoi and how did you find out about that pairing? I know this may have been done. but I wanna know what is it for other people.

For me it was Tendershipping (Bakura x Ryou) ^_^
I found out about it mainly because I was curious, I've role played as Ryou many times before and have had him in many different couplings (with my friend they were normally oc's same for me with her playing Bakura) but then I wondered what they would be like together. My friend was into Yaoi long before I've gotten interested in it so she sent me some Bakura x Ryou fanfics, which then made me look for videos of them off youtube which then led to me rping them as a couple.
and there we go, Im now a fan of the Tendershipping.

Yami/Yuugi in a big way. I saw it immediately, but my friend who'd introduced me to YGO was looking at me like I was growing another head. Which I wasn't.
It's still my OTP.

Completely KaibaxJou but I also adore AtemxYuugi. Though I always saw Mokuba being yaoiful. Does anyone else find it interesting that there are hardly any girls on YGO in the first place?

For me it was SetoXRyou (meaning the good or hikari Bakura, not the wicked yami one). I read this fantastic story that just blew my mind. It wasn't until later I became a big fan of YamiXSeto. I didn't even see Seto as a potential uke when I started out...now I run a C2 community on fanfiction.net entitled "Uke Seto." rofl

I got into the yaoi "fandom" because of Yami and Yugi, but I used to watch YGO and go "Ryou, Malik, Marik, and Bakura are the gayest things in a kid show since barney!" So though I like the yaoi because of puzzleshipping, I thought of it as a possibility because of those four. Now of course I ship a much wider array of pairings;
Puzzleshipping, Puppyshipping, tendershipping, psychoshipping, puffshipping, and some whose shipping names I cannot find.

I'm pretty sure it was Yami Bakura x Yami Yuugi. *shudder* But they kept mentioning "Ryou", and I remember thinking, "Who's Ryou? Is that Bakura?" but they used "Bakura" for Yami Bakura, and I was thoroughly confused.
I hate Yami Bakura x Yami Yuugi or any variation thereof.
