Welcome to Somerset Academy

It's a school specially made for the teens that have been rejected by society- The teens with a gift, a special power all their own. They have been sent here by their parents or guardians to learn how to control their powers; along with the usual classes such as Mathematics and English.

Some of the teens may posess a form-changing power; while others control over elements, and still others may bend more towards mind-based powers, such as telepathy. Some even have super-strength or speed.

Noone has been able to find out where these powers came from, or how only certain people have them. All we know is that they begin to show at an early age, and grow with time; or are else foricibly brought out by a traumatic event.

There are three floors to the school; the first and second floors are where all the classes are located; the third all of the dorms.

Rules

I have a few simple rules. Make sure you follow them, 'cause I won't hesitate to kick you out of my roleplay.

One;; Respect your fellow roleplayers. Don't flame or cuss a river at them, it's not very polite and only illiterate idiots do it.
Two;; Post in size 9 or 10 font and use "quotes" for speech and type out your actions.
Three;; Be somewhat literate. I'll allow some misspellings, but don't make tons of grammar mistakes and use speak in slang or chatspeak.
Four;; PM me your profiles, then I'll post them in my own profile topic here, the second post.
Five;; For your characters Gift; DO NOT use the gift someone else has already chosen, and have weaknesses for it too. Don't be a mary-sue or gary-stu; it's annoying. I will PM you saying you have to change something if I must.

Feel free to PM me with any suggestions for this roleplay, or questions about the rules or stuff like that.

Heres some examples of a power your character may have:

Power mimicry or absorption
Ability to copy or absorb another's powers or skills temporarily; also has ill effects on those the person touches.

Accelerated healing
Main article: Healing factor
Ability to heal rapidly from any injury; the rate of recovery varies from character to character, at the cost of nutrients and energy from the body.

Animal mimicry
Ability to take on the abilities of certain animals.

Bone manipulation
Ability to manipulate the bones in one's own body. This includes, but is not limited to, the generation of new bone mass, projecting bones out from the skin or rearranging one's own bones, with the cost of nutrients from the body.

Duplication
Ability to create physical clones of oneself.

Dorms:

All dorms are single-person, and can be decorated any way the inhabitant likes. More will be added soon; and when you submit your profile I will PM you back with your dorm number.

All dorms have a twin-size bed; a desk with a chair; a dresser; a side-table; closet and small bathroom with a shower, mirror, counter with the sink set in it and a cabinent beneath, and a toilet.

Paint/wallpaper color is for the occupant to decide; as well as the look of the furnishings, as well as any extra decorations they might add to the room themselves.

Schedule

Classes start at 8:30 every morning; classes are 70 minutes. Lunch is in the middle of the day; free time is made before/after dinner and during lunch; all students must be in their dorms by 9:00. Breakfast is 7:00 through 8:30. All meals are in the cafeteria. After Breakfast, students have 20 minutes to grab their books, walk to class, ect. In between mods 1 & 2 and mods 3 & 4; sutdents have five minutes to reach class.
All meal times last two hours.

Here's a simple list form:

Breakfast: 6:30 - 8:30
Mod 1: 8:50 - 10:00
Mod 2: 10:05 - 11:15
Lunch: 11:25 - 1:25
Mod 3: 1:30 - 3:40
Mod 4: 3:45 - 4:55
Dinner: 5:00 - 7:00

Classes

I will mail you a randomly pulled-together schedule with the classes you chose in your profile application. Classes run on A-B days; A days have completely different classes then B days. This makes it so you have a total of eight different classes; four each day.
Schedules may be changed within one day of receiving your schedule. I will let you choose your two electives.

A boy, tall and not stereotypically clumsy, walked slowly towards the great doors of the academy. If anyone had been looking from the door, they would have said this scene would be just like from a movie. A boy carrying a bag and a backpack walking towards the viewer with the sunset on his back. Creating a beautiful background and creating the boy's details dark and vauge as though he was a hero returning from his journal back to his girl.
But that was only movie scene. In real life, it's far from even close. The boy's long hair was extremely messy with eyes dull from sleepiness and even a bit of saliva was at the corner of his mouth. And he was far from being the hero of some movie.
"Aigo.. David it's okay. I'm alone so stop bothering me!" He snapped at what seemed to be nothing. But if someone was able to see through his very own eyes, they would see another teenager boy walking next to him wearing a black t-shirt with a blinding white cross on the back and also two slits on the back right on the shoulder blade's were once touching.
"Ah, but isn't a grand place? And also look at the sunset. So peaceful compared to the hectic lives." David said with great enthiasm but his voice was hardly a whisper. A smile was on his face as he asked the other boy, who simply shrugged away the comments and questions as though they weren't there.
"Just come on. And you can be excited. I have school." He muttered as he jumped up the steps to the doors and opened them without much as knocking. He was in a foul mood he was. That Tae.

Looks: Short, brown hair, Brown eyes,simply clothes, and has scaley skin.
Personality: Shy, if opens up usualy finds bugs which he would let crawl over everone around him.
Bio: Found on a lake front with spiders covering his body, Brought up by farmers until he turned into a black widow and was chased out of the antire village.
Other: Keeps blackwidows in his room, not the most social person.

Gift: can turn into a wolf/ wolf hybrid. downside: has no controle of when it happens or what part of him becomes a wolf weather it be his arm of his whole body.
Appearance: Tall has red hair blue eyes, has blue jeans on and a shirt with the words "Never Knows best" on it.
Personality: Is quiet and pretty relxaed, though has is veary Veary oblivious.
Biography: Zylo grew up with one sister Jenny His Father died when he was 3. He was sent here after his mom nocticed he was eating his corn with fangs.
