This is a story of greed and betrayal...
The wyvern's were hunted down, for the jewels on their foreheads and their claws and scales. Finding anywhere to hide was tough for they were ambushed where ever they thought they would find a new home. It took many a year, but they found a place to settle down, undisturbed save for the small mammals and little creatures that made the area home.
Throughout many years they guarded their secrets with much care, the clan members were sworn against telling outsiders of their life. Everything was as it should be, peaceful. Then came the day the wyvern Syarthan became overcome with greed.
Syarthan was the keeper of the clan's treasury, guarding it with all his might. Every day he would admire the wealth, and to him, it felt like it was all his. Every time a member of the clan wanted to withdraw from the treasury, Syarthan would deny them, making up many reasons to why they couldn't. It got to the point where just that amount wasn't enough, he wanted more.
He knew that other beings kept gold and jewels. He also knew that they wanted so badly to find the clan and hunt them down. Plans formed in his twisted mind. He now knew what he wanted to do.
It was a fine evening, many of the wyverns were settling down to rest. That's when the tragedy happend. The outsiders attacked, armed with the sharpest of swords, protected with the strongest of armor. Many were slain, many were injured, and they knew that nobody could have just found them where they were.
Syarthan was found in the treasury, laughing a tremendous laugh as he lay down upon his hoard, which had managed to just grow tenfold. He looked up as many feirce screams tore through the air, and many of his clan lept from the shadows upon him.
He was taken to a volcano in which they had sentenced him to a painful death in the pit of molten lava where he burned, and they issued a ceramony so that his soul would be sent to be reborn so that he may repent for his crime.
Punishment
Being around any precious stone or metal makes his head pound painfully, and he can't break any promises he makes to others.

Meeting
The day was hot, but the setting sun brought with it the chill of crisp nighttime breeze. Siyanna sat upon a grassy field, watching the sun set behind a volcano. It looked as if it were errupting once again. Night fell. She got up and started her trek home, when a noise came to her ear. Curious, she followed the shrill cry.
There, near a shallow stream, lay a baby. Not your ordinary baby, but a very... draconic looking one. "Oh my..." Siyanna uttered, frightened, yet wanting to help the young one. Carefully she picked him up; he was still crying. "Shh, you're safe now, there, it's okay..." she cooed, brushing back the infant's hair. She looked upon his forehead jewel. "That's a very pretty little gem you have there!" She smiled, and placed her finger on it to feel it.
Upon doing that, a voice echo'd throughout her mind. Take care of Syarthan, take care of him, teach him, love him... Siyanna nearly jumped! "S-s..Syarthan, that's your name?" The baby replied with another wail, and his yellow eyes seemed to stare right down to Siyanna's very soul. A shiver filled her. The voice said she would have to take care of him, and no matter how afraid she was, she would do it. Something inside told her to, the voice told her to, her maternal instinct told her to.
