wafflezinmahpantz He says he'd come back. So I decided to stick around and kill off the fire boars while standing on a platform so I'd be safe. Next thing I know, he says "I think I took the wrong portals... I'm at a map with lupins and boars" Total aaaargghhahadgawehaw. And guess what he says next? "I'll meet you in Perion". @______________@ So I scroll to Perion. I haven't finished Maya's quest yet, by the way. So he was like "okay tell me what you need and I'll help." 'Course, I needed everything except charms. He gave me squishy liquids and soon after that we went hunting for leaves. Halfway into hunting dark stumps he said "wanna go fight lupins and boars?" ASDF NO. YOU JUST DON'T ASK A LEVEL 24 BOWMAN THAT. D: If he ended up where I think he did, he took a REALLY wrong turn, and then several more sweatdrop It is really hard to compete with mages. All my friends have way surpassed me in leveling, and put up a mage with anything else of the same level and the mage pretty much wins. Nobody else has the MP renegeration to match with the continual magic enhanced attacks. Wow they want to go after lupins already tho eek I though most classes couldn't consistantly hit them for a while longer and getting hit with bananas really sucks if you're missing sometimes. Bowmen should be able to be killing them first just from higher accuracy, I know I was getting them before other people of higher levels though I wasn't doing a whole lot of damage, I used to take care of them in the high wild boars area. I had a grudge against Lupins for a while and now I kill them with glee though they're not the best to level off of since you end up taking more damage than its worth. Oh yes, I was in the subway for over an hour, and no tube, and I can handle bubblings well. I try not to ks but between the crowds and the wandering mages who don't give a crap if they're invading your space as they walk though or not its just too small an area to try. I got a red one from a zombie mushie much easier. Bowmen may have range but we have those horrible background quirks which we cant' shoot through that don't hinder mages' claw. I still want revenge on the metal pigs... crying Too many ruined pig beach maps... *shoots* 1 1 1 1 crying

Tonight was fun. :] No n00bs or anything!
I got to level 25! W00t.
My friend still hadn't done John's first quest so we went to Sleepywood after getting me to level 25. Some people find it easier to take off their armor for a jump quest. surprised So we stripped and I yelled things and took lots of screenshots. (look at the chatbox)
By the way, I am totally digging my new mop. x3
...And this screenshot looks so wrong. xD
I felt like yelling something dirty when I finished.
Sleepywood is easy peasy lemon squeezy for me, so I fell all the way back to the bottom to do it again while I waited for my friend to finish.
After he finished the jump quest, we went to that "secret area" inside a house in Sleepywood. x_O I was shocked to find curse eyes and a lupin down there. You can't see them, the stupid things. D: Since I can hit them, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try them. BAD BAD BAD BAD IDEA, ICKLE BOWMAN.
I hit the lupin, which promptly ate its banana and threw it at me. I tried to climb onto the rope, but the banana it threw still hit me. I was constantly pushing the HotKey I set my red pots on so I wouldn't die.
I ran to the rope on the other side. Lupin followed and tried to throw a banana at me, but I was too high. WOOT. I WAS SAFE.
Soon after followed a brief "OMGOMGOMGOMG". Notice I was then short like, 20 potions. :p
Then I bowed to Mr. Oh. By the way, me saying "69 dmg" is NOT trying to imply something dirty. It was shortly after the lupin aftermath and my friend said "yeah at least you can hit them though".
After that, we ran around and tried to gather up as many quests as we could. We tried to do the Ellinia jump quest but we got too impatient. :[

Then we went into one of those trees and starting killing green and horny shrooms. :]
Then I logged off.
All in all, a good night. And now it's 5am. @_@

Note to the general public: I apologize for not updating lately.
So what's been going on? I'm still level 27. But I've been doing quests like crazy. I should get back to leveling someday.
My friend who started a bowman a few days ago is already level 30. eek He's hardcore, man. Or just PQs a lot. Whatever, same thing. >___>;
I was hunting boars with my friend today for Jane's level 25 quest. And fire boars kept coming my way. gonk
I keeled them. I keeled them good. scream
On another note, I now do 200 damage a shot if I get lucky.
OH YEAH. I HAVE NO SPACE IN MY INVENTORY. ;__; Any crossbowmen in Bera out there? I have arrows for you.
I started using bronze arrows today... they are sex for bowmen. heart heart LOOOOVE to Vicious for making them and total love to my mage friend for giving me bronze. It's a mutual thing, he gives me stuff I give him stuff. :0

edit: I forgot toadd, something completely Hilarious Larry happened to me in Henesys today...
I was sitting down onthe bench next to the taxi, when someone comes upto me and says hi. SO I say hi back. then thenext thingthey said was hilaaarious.
"wanna be my gf?"
I was almost in hysterics. So Iwas like "um...no."
YOu know what I should have done? Pretended I was a guy. Thereare a lot of guys playing girls in MS, why not? gonk

Its hard to PQ that much! Unless you get a really good group for a couple hours and keep rushing. Don't waste too much ores on bronze arrows. Stuff in Ossyria actually drop those, and you can make steel ones there too which AFAIK don't get dropped. Heh, I had someone do the 'be my Maple gf' thing to me the other day. I was like whatever, I'm too nice to blow people off. So on buddy chat he was like to his friends 'I got this Maple gf, she's higher level than me and we look awesome together.' If he starts using it for free favors or gets annoying I'm so punting him from friends list.

Bronze Arrows are too expensive to use constantly unless you have Soul Arrow (I heart SA), and there's been a long debate over whether you even get the Bronze/Steel boost while using SA. So I just use regular arrows. That way I dun have to panic if SA runs out in the middle of a Kitty swarm.

Got to level 28, went on a suicide mission to see drakes (that is the first time I have ever died on my bowman) and then PQed.
I think PQ is the scariest thing I have ever done on MapleStory.
No, it's not all the ligators and King Slime - it's my party leader.
So, if you haven't noticed, I did my first PQ today. It got me from 0% to 12% in a very short time. Niiiiice. But my leader was REALLY scary because I was a total newb to it. @_@;;;;; She kept yelling and stuff. Well I don't blame her or anything.
First thing I did when we got in was lag. For the longest time everrrrrr. Then my friend died. And then my leader yelled at me for lagging and told me to wait by Cloto so she could get my coupons. o.o
Lots of yelling and lagging later, I get out eight silver ores richer than before. -_-;
And then I lagged out and couldn't getback in again, yay!

PQing can be fun if you're with friends, especially your first couple times when you need a bit of patience since you're not quite sure what you're doing, the puzzles are a bit weird compared to normal MS. But a lot of people get really uptight about it, they all want to get to the bonus stage as fast as possible and then rush again... heck there's just a lot of jerks in general on MS. Everyone has had a first time at PQ but people like to act like they were always masters. I hope its at least easier to get in on Bera.

I reached level 29 today! Woot.
Met up with Yujinoko (Resol in-game) and he, my magey friend, and I went off and killed lupins...
Yes, we hunt lupins, though it's more work than it's worth... sweatdrop We use potions faster than we can earn the mesos to buy them.
But anyway, Resol went off, my magey friend and I continued huntinglupins until we ran out of money and worked the mushrooms over... twisted
AND THEN I FOUND MORE MALE BOWMAN PANTS WTF. Anyone want Legolier Pants? Have them. gonk I dunno what their stats are, though~
The Cutlus I have is two below average... Should I just NPC the thing because it won't do me any good trying to sell it? confused
I can just taste that second job advancement... scream
