Neith had phoned everyone. Guardians of missing Simu, Simu and guardians that weren't involved with the cruise, everyone. Of course, not everyone could make it. She'd made it clear that she'd understand if they didn't show up, that everyone had to do this their own way.

But it was time to start organising their very own search and rescue for the missing 'winners.'

She'd been called before by the cruise directer. The cruise ship had a false alarm, he'd explained, and a few novice crewmembers had taken their jobs too seriously. Three lifeboats had been let off the ship before the order was given, and now two of them were missing. It was an unpredictable area of ocean, with thousands of islands dotted around in sizes ranging from little rocky islands to larger jungle covered islands.
And the Simu Neith had got tickets for, were in one of those lifeboats.

All their belongings left behind were being sent straight to the shop, when the ship reached the nearest port. Searches were being conducted, but nothing as of yet.

Neith didn't trust them, and the word 'thousands' didn't make her feel any better. So she'd called everyone, and hired a few boats for her own searching. Now...

She just had to wait.

((Kind of continuing at RP from before. ^^))

Ardre showed Tlachta through the backroom, and into the store front before climbing the stairs to reach the kitchen, where the bread would be to feed the tiny mouse. However, when Ardre reached the top of the stairs, instead of the quiet house that had been there before, she found Neith, looking a little frantic.

The teen Simu blinked, and stroked the mouse thoughtfully before she openned her mouth. "Something wrong?"

Quote:
Neith fiddled with the oven. First thing Neith did in this mood, and that was clean/cook/clean/feed others. It was nearly eight, there had to be food!

She looked up sideways at Ardre, nodding as she shoved the pizza in the oven. "Yes, there is. I left a message on phones... I guess you didn't hear it? Anyway, everyone who went on that cruise," Neith guestured up at a 'CRUISE' pamphlet and a 'These are the winners!' section with photos and all with her elbow as she stood up, "who are also from here... are missing. All of them."

Tlachta looked on as Ardre spoke to the woman in the kitchen area. She blinked a little, unfamiliar with that word. She wondered what a 'cruise' was, and who the missing people were. She fiddled with a rainbow coloured lock whilst she stood there.

"Oh, I've been out and about for most of the day," Ardre said sheepishly, though in truth, she never really checked phone messages, and neither did Kaekia. Hoshi would do it when he remembered, but none of them were very technology oriented, and didn't usually mess with that kind of thing.

At the mention of the cruise, Ardre attempted to look informed, but she had never really taken interest in learning much about the cruise that some of the Simus had gone on, besides hearing from Kyoko that her brother had been on it. And at the party, hadn't Sim mentioned something about dreaming up the party, since he should have been on the cruise?

"Who all was on the cruise?" she finally asked, the only question she could really think of, as she broke off a corner of bred to feed to the mouse. "And do you need any help?"

Neith stood up, tugging off the oven gloves and hanging them on a hook. "No thankyou, it just needs to be heated up. I make them and freeze them for later."

She went to sit at the table. "Quite a few teenagers from here... Aurora, Zanna, Sim, Elijah and his guardian, Pata, Sarria, ...oh, and one child, Ronin. It's not that I think they're hurt... It's just..."

She pushed out a map of the area they'd been last at. There was a circle on it, and hundreds of tiny dots representing islands inside. "Just that it might be a while before we find the right area in this circle."

Ardre attempted to match up the names with faces that she knew, and succeeded in many, many pictures of those that she had met at the party. That must have been why many of them were confused - how were they able to be at the party and on the cruise at the same time?

"Oh wow," she murmured finding her self staring at the map and all of the possible islands. "We have to go to all of those islands by boat?"

The teen realized then that Tlachta was still standing by, looking slightly awkwaard in the new setting. "Here, come look," she offered with a small smile.

'People need to be found?' she questioned softly, going over and standing next to Ardre. She peered at the map, her nose wrinkling a little.
'This area is quite a large one to search is it not?'
She was amazed at how intricate the map seemed. She remembered maps - they had never looked this detailed as she recalled them, she was sure.

"It can't be as bad as it looks." Neith tried to shrug that off, "They can't all be good enough to stay on, can they?"

She looked up at the pretty rainbow teenager, as if she'd only just noticed her. "Hello, I'm Neith. Who are you? Are you hungry or thirsty, there's food and drink in the fridge?"

'Some of them maybe just small rocky islets not suitable for landing on,' she declared, tracing a thin finger over the maps surface.
'I am Tlachta,' she said, nodding at Neith.
'I thank you but I am perfectly comfortable at this time.'

"Well, yes," Ardre said, her voice a little dreamy as she thought about it. "But how would we know which ones can be liveable, and which can't?"

Thinking on the question herself, Ardre couldn't seem to find a good solution. "I would ask the birds or the fishes to look, but I've never tried anything like that before," she said, shaking her head. She'd never had any use for her connection with animals before, but maybe it would be time for her to try them out.

"By looking, I guess. I hired two boats, and if we have two groups tracing paths organized earlier... we should find them?" Neith sighed, and smiled weakly at Tlachta. "I'm pleased to meet you, it's nice to see a new face around here. And I promice, I don't send Simu to get lost everyday. This is just a one off thing."

'Well I am very pleased to hear that,' she said, a smile tugging on the corner of her mouth.
'Is it just us three in the search party?'

((Huni hopes that she can join even if she didn't sign up ooc, if she can't, then feel free to delete this post n.n))

The red head had rushed to the shop as soon as she got the phone call. Well, she didn't exactly rush, she made roughly five trips back and forth from just a few blocks away from Durem and back to her house because she seemed to have forgotten some things. Mostly her keys, her wallet, her S-Tone, to brief everyone on what was happening, and to give instructions about what to do in the meantime.

Huni finally arrived at the shop, face flushed, breathing erratic as she obviously was not conditioned to do any physical activity outside of shopping and haggling. Gasping for breath, Huni grasped the doorhandle to the antique shop before entering.

Without thinking, she collapsed onto one of the antique chairs (which thankfully did not break given her skinny frame) to get her breathing evened out. Once she had the strength, she climbed to the second floor, a little worn from the numerous unintentional sprints.

"What happened to my boy!?!?" she half-demanded, half-wailed almost identical to Sim. Whether she picked that up from him or it was the other way around, one wasn't sure.

It was just too much for the young mother. Two of her boys missing. First Nobu ran away and now Ronin was in danger. No even more, hopefully he was still alive. Who knows what happens on the sea ? She had heard of people becoming canibals because they would have starved otherwise...and Ronin was the smallest and weakest out there.

Lena shook her head and Kyoko pushed her slightly.

"Don't get mad. I need an adult in a good condition to allow me to look for my brother." The teenager said and played with her necklace while they walked through the headquarter's door.

"You won't go. Nobody will ever leave my home again." Lena cried and shook her head twice, almost stumbling across the stairs' steps.

Kyoko pushed her upstairs and blinked several times as she noticed Ardre with an unfamiliar person. She greeted friendly, but still seemed very concerned. As she spotted Huni the teenager just sighed. Another of those hyperventilating mothers...goodness no...

Tlachta panicked at the sudden influx of new people, hiding a little behind Ardre. The first woman that entered seemed halfway to hysteria, and the second one that entered who was followed by a teen age girl seemed little better in demeanour. Better to stay out of their way; after all she didnt want to be blamed for anything. She wasnt sure how she could be blamed, but she was new here and unsure of her place.

It only took two times of hearing the message left on Ian's answering machine before Itsuki had grabbed his knives and left the apartment.

Now, the boy walked into the shop quickly, his eyes more focused and determined than his usual demeanor. He scanned the place quickly and headed through the backroom and up the staircase when he found no one at the entrance. The news of hearing the Simu on the cruise being lost was not particularly interesting enough to warrant his concern normally. The problem, however, was that Urahara was among them.

He wouldn't have been able to stay away from the shop after coming to this realization, he was now being driven by two unstoppable desires: one, to save Ura whom he had a strange connection to, and two, to prove he had to be a good person. Lately, he was starting to doubt this...

Now, as he stood in the shop among the girls, only Kyoko he recognized, he retained his serious look. He did his best to ignore Kyoko's prescence so he could concentrate at the manner at hand. Looking for who could be in charge, he directed his attention to the one who seemed to be receiving everyone else's the most--Neith.

"...What are we going to do about this?"

Now was not the time to flip out. He just wished a couple of the others would realize this...

chiri hadn't been in the apartment when she had gotten the call from Neith - she had been home to be honest - and had stared at the blinking light of the answering machine for some time before finally deciding to listen to it. The voice startled her to be honest, it sounded somewhat familiar but most voices did and any calls she actually got startled her to begin with. And it was important, which made it even more creepy... it sent her on edge.

Especially when it mentioned something about the cruise she had sent Urahara on. The red head's eyes grew incredibly wide and before the message even managed to finish, she was gone. Having popped out of her apartment, only to appear in her usual cloud of smoke and sand at the shop she had somewhat remembered being the place where she had gotten the necklace in the first place.

Oh how she hoped, and oh how she pushed all her paranoia away, as she pushed open the door wide eyed and wordless. chiri looked at the others with continued silence, Mr. Tail swished behind her in concern.

"etou...." She said in a low voice, unsure of what to say. Ura was in trouble! Her brain screamed, telling her to take action, but she .. just couldn't say anything...

Huni was going out of her mind with worry, so many "I shouldn't have let him go alone" and "What if he's dead!?" and "What if he comes back to haunt me for not taking better care of him?!?!" were running through her mind that she couldn't take another minute of not saying anything.

"What are we gonna do about this?" she half-demanded half-shrieked in worry, she may not have had Sim around long, but he was still part of her family. And she would fight for her family to the death if need be, though she sincerely hoped it would never come to that as she had no experience in the art of combat. Unless you consider the biting and yelling and kicking she'd done during massive sales...

Neith suddenly wished she could do exactly what the pretty rainbow girl was doing; hide. As panicky and screechy as she felt, being around more of that only set her even more on edge, even guiltier!

It wasn't even her fault that the ship had that mistake!

It was a real relief for someone to ask her a sane and unemotional (At least, compared to the others) question. So she tried to figure out what to say to everyone, finally telling them all, "Quiet!"

"I've hired two boats, and the Simu will be in the area circled on this map," Neith started to pin it up on the pinboard over the other various things, "And we can start searching as early as tomorrow morning, as long as we don't miss an island. They should be all right till then..."

Unless there was no water, or food, or shelter, Neith added quietly to herself. Then they'd be in more trouble than she wanted to let on.

Itsuki sweatdropped slightly when it took Neith's yell to calm the others. Thankfully, it was quieter now...

Once the map was raised, the boy did his best to look at the paper and the area circled, being the smallest one in the crowd. So they really were going on a search mission? Definitely exciting...

...But they could be on any of those islands. Looking around again, he wondered how exactly the group of them could form a cohesive enough team to be able to successfully rescue anyone, let alone get back themselves.

The boy didn't say anything, not sure how to respond to the information given to them. He was sure someone else would have something to say anyhow.

Tlachta breathed out a small sigh of relief; thank goodness someone seemed in charge of this rabble! She edged out from behind Ardre and moved on light steps towards the boy, looking at him with curiousity. She inclined a tiny bow with her head at him;
'Good day to you,' she said.

"Thanks Neith." Lena mentioned and looked at the map and the circled islands. Doubts and terrible pictures arose inside her mind and she felt her hands trembling. She knew she couldn't go there...Nalini and Jessila were still too young to stay at home alone and she needed to find Nobu...not talking about her toddler at all.

The young woman frowned and sighed. This was all growing into an unmentionable disaster.

Kyoko instead was not even close to get into a desperate mood. Indeed anger and envy ruled her mind. Who was this colourful girl and why didn't she greet her but Itsuki ? Inpolite...so inpolite...

The teenager petted her mother's shoulder and nodded. "You can stay here with the younger ones. I'll go, mum." How she stressed the last word relieved that she wasn't in favour of this expression. Usually she stayed with 'you'.

"Itsuki, Ardre and I will solve this problem, I suppose." And now there was the revenge for not greeting her. People had to learn after all. Kyoko sent an almost sugar coated smile towards the younger boy. "Right ?"

Ardre offered a small smile to Kyoko as she entered the room, feeling vaguely protective of Laccie as the shyer teen hid. 'I wonder if I ever did that?" she wondered to herself, and then continued nodding to the others as they entered the room. Truth be told, Ardre seemed a little hestiant herself, for none of these people looked familiar, besides Kyoko, and they all seemed to be in hysterics.

"Oh, and maybe Tlachta, too," Ardre offered, sliding towards Kyoko as Laccie nudged out from behind her. "I think she's a new Simu."

Most everyone else seemed to have a relative on the ship - obviously the mothers, and Kyoko had her brother, but the only one she really knew was Sim. Perhaps she shouldn't even be here.

Huni silently cursed under her breath when she realized she didn't bring along anything to write with. She would have asked what they were supposed to bring, but she guessed something along the lines of food, water, medicine, and for Sim lots and lots of colorful clothing. Well he'd have to wait until they got back to Barton before she'd give him anything that wasn't made of wool or flannel. He might be freezing to death out there!

"I'm going to! I refuse to be left behind to go bonkers with worry, and believe me, if you thought I was hysterical earlier you haven't seen me in full-panic-mode." Huni chuckled, it was both a joke and a warning that she was not to be left out of the rescue mission. "Although before I start to go crazy with worry again, what do you think we should bring? I was thinking medicine and food and warm clothes and maybe something that will calm our Simu when we find them. Because I'll be bringing the latest copy of Vague* along to somewhat relax my boy." she explained.

The red head didn't bother to look at the map, she wouldn't be able to understand a thing being directionally challenged most of the time. And maps made no sense to her unless it was an incredibly simple one which she assumed the one Neith had was not.
