Giving a soft, shrill call, Osu reached the main room. Curious at all the voices, he stuck his head boldly into the room. There were lots of people here! Happily, he bounded into the room, giving a louder call, almost as if to announce his presence. Now, the only question was where to stick his beak first. Then, he spotted the other gryphon. Question answered.
Excitedly, he approached Lucius, tilting his head and chirruping curiously. He'd met several people already, but only one gryphon, who had brushed him off. And Osu was quickly proving that he was not one to beat about the bush.
A few paces behind Osu, Ieyasu entered the room just after the little gryphon's 'entrance'. He glanced around the room quickly. Nyxa, Syrenrei and someone who he didn't recognise.
Nodding his head, he grinned amiably. "Hey there." Then, he cast his gaze to Osusuki quickly, checking on him briefly, before looking back up to the rest of the room's occupants.

Kiro looked up at that point, an apologetic smile on his face. "I'm going to turn in now... I'm kinda tired... but it was nice meeting you Sy, Nyxa..." a nervous pause... "Luc..."
With a continued smile and a slight tip of his head, Kiro headed back to his room to get some much needed, and certainly earned, sleep.

She nodded to Kiro as he left and then to 'yasu in greeting. @___@ It was a whirlwind of people today, but so far she was fairing better in her overall embarassment level. Her blush count and intensity was down considerably from the other night. Amazing how much easier it was to socialize without those two darker-haired men around.
Well, she was doing better until she remembered that the last time she had seen Ieyasu was at that drunken party and he... had... seen her without a shirt on. @__@ Oh dear mother of the gods, he still had her bra if her memory served her right. Retreat, retreat! Caughing and sputtering she stopped petting Lucius to stand up, completely covered in a bright red blushes, and take a few steps back... fleeing into the baths.
Promptly a large splash was heard. Oh well, at least no one was *there.*

Luc perked slightly when he spotted the other gryphon, ears swivelling 'round to stand at full attention. He rose and trotted over to the new creature, head tilted in curiousity. Chittering softly, Luc flared his wings out to the side, neck feathers fluffing in a display of interest.
It was the first time he'd met a male Aerandir gryphon, and he wasn't sure how to act.
Nyxa, upon catching sight of 'Yasu, coughed and blushed a horrible pink. Too mortified to start a conversation, the only words she muttered were a quick greeting. "Hi, 'Yasu."

Osu craned his neck towards Lucius, examining him quizzically. After a moment, he trotted around the other gryphon, his bushy tail flicking. Coming full circle, he trumpeted happily before crouching down, his rear end up in the air. Splaying his wings, he chirruped at Lucius, as if inviting him to play. The other gryphon he had met hadn't allowed him to get near. Maybe this one would be more fun!
Ieyasu gazed after Syrenrei as she promptly bailed out of the room. Slightly confused, he stood for a moment, before shrugging. She could be so strange sometimes. Then, he turned to the only one left in the room: Nyxa. She had gone a rather red colour.
The vague thought crossed his mind that this had something to do with the last time they had met - at that party. His smile turned faintly awkward. "Hey Nyxa. How's things?"

Oh, playing would be fun. Rearing back on his hind legs, Luc took a few swats at the other gryphon's wings, large paws spread wide though his claws were retracted. After a short display of friendliness, Luc spread his own wings and put his rump in the air, tail thrashing. This Aerandir was bigger than Marli, and that meant slightly rougher play. Most excellent. Squawking loudly, snapped carefully at Osu, not wanting to be too rough.
Nyxa hardly noticed Syrenrei depart, sliding her gaze over to 'Yasu warily. She crossed her arms over her chest in embarassment, clearing her throat before speaking. "Ahh.. things are good, 'Yasu, and yourself?" No, Nyxa was not a smooth talker, her voice sounding a little too cheery even to her own ears. She turned her attention back to the boys, though she was still very aware that 'Yasu was standing there.

Osu trumpeted shrilly in reply to Lucius' squawk. Flicking his wings back before splaying them out again, he bounded back up to his feet again. Almost experimentally he reached out, nudging at the other gryphon's flank with his beak in playful retaliation for Lucius' earlier snap. Then, he spun, dashing off to the edge of the room excitedly.
Ieyasu gazed at Nyxa for a moment, seeming almost thoughtful. There was something funny about the way she was talking. After a moment, he smiled again.
"Not bad. Not been doing much, really. Just trying to keep him-" he nodded over at Osusuki "-from causing too much trouble." He grinned, watching the two gryphons play.

Luc followed in hot pursuit, sliding into Osu when he tried to stop. He righted himself swiftly, tearing off to pounce onto the couch and suddenly stop like a crazed animal, ears back and rump up, front feet splayed. He chittered to the other gryphon, almost daring him to follow.
Nyxa shuffled her feet and watched the gryphons fondly, clearing her throat. Again. "Yeah, Luc sometimes just goes off on his own, a few hours later he'll return with a small bird, a mouse." Feeling like she needed to set things straight, she finally garnered enough courage and simply blurted out, "I"msorryabouthepartyIdon'tusuallyactthatway."

Osu let out a shriek when the other gryphon careened into him. Scrambling back to his feet, he called excitedly, chasing after Luc towards the couch. Placing his front paws up onto the couch, he stood upright, flapping his wings.
He dropped back down to all fours, crouching in preparation to jump. Bounding up, he didn't quite make it, his back paws scrabbling rapidly against the upholstery before he slid back down to the floor again.
With an indignant chirp, he backed off a little bit, crouching back down for another shot. There were a few false starts before he finally sprang from the floor, this time making it. Scrabbling at the fabric again, he managed to
clamber up onto the couch. See? He could do it too! With his neck high and arched, Osu pranced over to Lucius, clearly proud of himself.
Ieyasu stared at Nyxa for a moment, trying to make sense of the garbled sentence. Eventually, he managed to piece together enough of it to understand her meaning. This was about the party.
After the brief pause, he grinned, shaking his head. "No worries. Hell, we were all acting a little out of it, I think." He just hoped that he hadn't done anything to upset or embrass anyone himself. He didn't think he had, but remembering drunken parties was always a little difficult.

Chirping when the other gryphon made his triumphant rise to the couch, Luc bounced in glee. Osu made the perfect playmate! Wings outstretched, Luc flapped them rapidly before he folded them against his side once more.
With a snort, Luc bounced again on the couch, using the motion to catapult him towards Osu. Unless the other gryphon moved, Osu would likely have a faceful of Lucius
Nyxa smiled genuinely, a rueful smile on her lips. "Yeah, s'true. I'm the worst drunk in the world, and I've just been embarassed. I can't even remember most of what happened, truthfully."
Her attention moved back to the Aerandir tussling on the couch, "Have you seen the other newcomers to the island?"

Too late, Osusuki tried to jump out of the way of the oncoming Aerandir. With an undignified squawk, he abruptly tumbled over towards the edge of the couch, his legs and wings flailing wildly.
"Heh. That happens. It used to happen to me quite often actually - those I stayed with when I was younger probably got fed up with me for being drunk more often than I was sober."
He grinned, following Nyxa's gaze towards the Aerandir. They looked like they were playing quite close to the edge of the couch, actually... He took a step forward, ready to intervene should they decide to roll off the edge.
"No.. well, apart from the guy with the tail that I just saw when I came in. I take it there's been some new arrivals?"

Luc's heavy weight was enough for them both to tumble off the edge, but thankfully Luc's claws were sharp and he dug them into the couch, his tangled appendages creating a sort of anchor for Osu so that both of the rowdy boys were safe from harm. Hopping to his feet, Luc decided that the floor would be more ideal for play, so he pounced to the floor, chirping at Osu to follow. Moving to the door, the naughty gryphon shrieked at Nyxa. He wanted outside!!
Nyxa shook her head, grinning at 'Yasu as she moved towards the door. "Luc wants outside. Maybe we could walk and talk as the boys roughhouse outdoors? I think Osu has a new best friend, Luc has only met little girls, it's nice for him to meet Osu."
She gestured with her hands, "Just one, some half-mechanical fellow. He's very charming, different."

Osu disentangled himself from Lucius, giving himself a sudden shake. Crowing at Lucius as the other gryphon hopped down onto the floor, he crouched at the edge with his rump in the air.
Calling to Lucius, he dangled his neck over the edge, tilting his head almost cheekily before he decided to follow. Abruptly, he launched himself to the ground in a decidedly unsubtle flurry of wings. Trumpeting again, he trotted over to Luc, giving the other Aerandir a playful nudge with his long beak.
"Sure. It's nice outside, and I think they're going to end up breaking something in here." Ieyasu grinned, before his gaze turned curious at her last comment. "Half-mechanical? You mean he's actually half metal?" He moved to follow after Nyxa before he spoke again.
"Sounds interesting. Although, are you trying to tell me that I'm not charming?" From his somewhat mischievious expression, it was fairly obvious that he wasn't being serious.

Syrenrei shuffled into the centre, not really wanting to make an appearance, but dying for food. She had brought with her four bags of groceries as well, although she needed only half of one to make her meal. Since she was welcome to stay there, she felt she owed something, even if it was just some basic goods.
Putting down her four bags on the counter that were filled with canned soups and vegetables; flour, sugar, and spices; raw meat that had been carefully butchered and wrapped; and peanuts, bread, and fruit respectively. Taking out a pot she poured in the soup and put it on the stove. As it heated up she put away her groceries.
It is also worth noting the longer hours and the drastic climate difference between the world she worked in and the one she was residing in caused her to develop a small cold that did nothing more than slightly irk her. Conscientious of the small, delicate creatures around her, she was sporting a little paper surgeon's mask to cover her nose and mouth.

Quietly, Kiro pushed open his door, as always with a book in his hand. He'd not been here long, but still he hadn't really seen much of anyone - and he'd come to realise that had been partly his own fault. So, his deed of the day was to actually put himself somewhere he was likely to meet people.
He wandered up the corridor towards the main area, his tail weaving a little behind him as he walked. Everything seemed to be done with a delicate air, one almost too delicate for a male of any species. Not delicate as in graceful either, more like timid. It was something he was going to have to work on.
As he emerged from the top of the corridor, he was surprised to find somebody already there, pausing abruptly as he reached for a name. They'd met before... on his first day... he was sure of it.
Awkwardly he hugged his book to his chest a little. "It's Sy, right?"
