Monica had to let out a loud whoop of joy when Greta seemed to actually know what she was doing, but the thing was: Greta was her friend. They slept near each other every night. She could ask Greta for tips later.
There'd been another guy, who looked easygoing enough, who was also reasonably skilled. Monica hopped up behind Shaun and tapped him on the back once the items had been distributed. "Hey!" she beamed. "You were so cool with that knife! Wanna fight club?"
Discretion? Nah. Monica had no room for any of that s**t.

“Uh...” Shaun looked at the tiny girl. So far, he'd managed to avoid the notorious fight club in C-block and not get his face beat up. He knew, though, that eventually he'd have to go there, and apparently his luck ran out... today. “Sure!” He said. He couldn't very well say no, and he was indeed proud of his knife skills. “Lets go do it!” and get that s**t over with...

His face was rounder in his childhood, and elongated with puberty, but he still looks like the imp that he is and was, and his body is lean but muscular and very flexible.
Shaun is mischevious, easygoing, and very friendly but he's also a little reckless by nature, especially when showing off his acrobatics. He needs people and does not do well alone, so he makes a great teammate and will be as helpful as possible, but ultimately he is out for himself.
Fight club? Diana had heard about it around the yard, but had never actually watched anyone participate in it. It sounded interesting to say the least, and maybe something that could even help her pass the time later on. Though who the girl, Monica she thought her name was, picked as a partner to fight seemed a little questionable. Maybe the girl was a scrapper though.
"Would it be okay if I watched? Or would you rather I not?" Diana asked, hesitantly looking between the two combatants.

"Ooh, yes! Please watch us! We need a witness anyway." Monica beamed, turning to Diana with cheer. She had such cool hair. "Then you can fight the winner afterward!"
She strode into Block C with verve. See, this fight was weaponless, so it didn't matter how good he was with a knife; he couldn't hurt Monica for real. Right? Also, you know, there were rules to this thing.
"Ready?" she asked, and then dove in with a punch aimed for his elbow. Monica was short.

Shaun had no problem with it, but she wasn't good in a fight, but he was good at dodging. He ducked and rolled with the elbow jab, throwing in one of his own. “I guess I was!” he laughed!

Monica would've clapped if she'd thought there was time. Instead he managed to hit her right where it hurt - in her tummy. "I'll get you for that!" she threatened, redoubling her efforts and heading for Shaun in a full body run.

Diana didn't really know who to cheer for since she barely knew either of them. All she could tell is that they were both doing fairly well at it for it being their first time! She'd have to be careful if she fought either of them. She clapped as Monica swung and Shaun dodged, the two of them doing their own little dance as they fought.
"Woo! You two are both doing great!"

They both had the same strength: Monica was quick, with her tiny size, but not particularly powerful. Shaun was similar, although less small than Monica was. Figured.
But he probably had a slight edge when it came to pure agility, or at least flexibility. That was okay. Monica made up for it in determination, as he'd learn when she started kicking out with her legs instead.

Whoa, wait, they could use legs?! "Hey!" he protested, nearly tripping, "No fair!" he struck out with his fist in defiance, "Take that!" Yeah! He was close to... winning?
"Gotta think faster than that," Monica cackled when Shaun's hit went wild. She had the upper hand briefly, but she was soon back to punching. After all, it was just a bit more predictable. Could she hit Shaun? Only time would tell, she thought. 2/10HP

Shaun fell down, not particularly gracefully and groaned, managing to get at least somewhat upright. He grimaced as his jaw ached and had to work for a few moments to get it to open right. “Please tell me” he managed, “That this means you won?” Yeah, he was out.
