Today was beautiful with the morning sky raising slowly in front of eyes. It was full of colors such as orange, purple, blue, and yellow. Mixed together they set the sky on fire - almost like when she lite her stove top to make some delicious sugary desserts. Mira swung her legs over the branch of the tree she was posted on. Leaning back she closed her eyes and smelled the brisk air.
"Man mornings like this - I almost don't mind patrolling instead of baking," she said with a slight giggle. Which was a huge thing for her since baking was almost as important to her as her life. Kinda ran in the family - and just the thought kinda made her happy. This whole sailor thing was slowly starting to make sense and she liked the thought of being capable of helping others.
Slowly she opened her eyes after taking in what this morning had to offer. Looking in front of her she watched the cold sidewalks and roads. It was early so not many people or youma's seemed to be out. It was almost like she was the only one here. She swung her legs back and forth as she waited to see what her patrol would blow her way.

Jeremy was silent when he approached, not maliciously, but just on his own general patrol. He had been called out to investigate a minor disturbance--some teenagers who had been vandalizing the park. They’d all scattered, which--while it meant Jeremy didn’t get to reprimand some dumb kids, it also meant he wasn’t in any danger and they were done being little punks, for now.
Hopefully the scare would be enough to keep them gone, but he figured this wasn’t the first--and wouldn’t be the last--call he received about unruly teens in the park.
He had figured he should just finish up a quick little patrol and get back to his car when he saw color--and movement--in the trees. He immediately assumed one of the kids must have thought they were pretty smart, hiding in a tree.
It was pretty smart; he’d never have looked there if he hadn’t seen her moving.
He approached quietly, from behind, and cleared his throat when he was just below the girl.
“A little early for Halloween,” he noted, observing her costume. “Shouldn’t you be getting ready for school?”

Mira was startled a bit when she heard a sudden voice. So startled she fell out of the tree she was sitting in. Flipping once and putting her dress over her head and then flipped again put her outfit normal but landing ending on her rear end. Painfully and badly landing. Probably the worst landing someone who was supposed to protect people ever did.
"Oww..." she said as she slightly rubbed her head and was now looking directly at the owner of that voice. From the looks of it he was just a normal guy, which was good and bad. Since this was the first civilian she had ever run into in patrol. She normally did a good job at hiding. At least she thought.
"Well hello, and uh ... oh you mean my outfit," she giggled a little trying not to let her shyness show through, "This is actually considered pretty normal - especially when on patrol."
Part of her couldn't remember if that was something that was okay to tell someone non-powered. Since she had never run into it before, but just mentioning a patrol couldn't hurt right. Or so she hoped. Since she didn't exactly give away anything crucial.
"oh and um... well I don't actually have to worry about school today," she said as she slowly dusted the bottom of her outfit off. In all honesty she wasn't even thinking about school since she was so focused on her duties and her parents bakery lately. She shook her head trying to clear it when she realized she hadn't even introduced herself - which even for a sailor was rude. in her eyes.
"I'm Mira by the way - and you are?" She asked as kindly as she could.

Jeremy blinked and recoiled when she fell out of the tree, seeming surprised. An apology was on his lips, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it when he currently suspected her of being involved in one of those gangs.
“...Patrol?” he asked blankly after a moment, glancing at her outfit and then his own police uniform.
“No, see, I’m on patrol, Mira. Officer Fischer,” he introduced, tapping the badge on his shirt.
“No school is no excuse for being out at this hour. It’s dangerous, were you out all night?”

Mira tilted her head a little bit. As she dusted her outfit a little more. hmm an actual officer. this was definitely a first for her on her patrol.
"Yes just keeping a lookout on the park," she said with a grin. She wasn't quite sure how to put that she used attacks on creatures but she tried her best. "I mean even police officers need some assistance I'm sure from er... non-human things" That was probably the worst possible way to explain it but her shyness was starting to show. Plus she didn't know how much she could tell other than the obvious of course.
"It's nice to meet you though Officer Fischer." she said with a smile, "I don't tend to see many police out here... or anyone really. um...what has you over here today?" She was trying her best to not let her shyness show but with guys it sometimes did a little more than she wanted it too. But she was also very curious since the only thing she had seen were a few teenagers and some joggers today. Just a normal day at the park.
"No no not at all. I just got here a bit before you did," she said with a little bit of a giggle. It was nice to see someone concerned but honestly it was something she wasn't really used too. She normally went everywhere alone well after all her parents were busy people. "Is it really that dangerous here? I mean its so beautiful it's hard to imagine real danger in a place like this. Especially with the sunrises you can see here."
Just thinking about it made her happy but then again she was full of sugar in every way - personality, attacks, and outfit.

Jeremy pursed his lips together, as if he were seriously thinking about something. She wasn't breaking any rules, technically, but he couldn't help but worry about any girl, out here, alone, at such an odd hour.
He decided to avoid asking what she meant by 'non-human things' and assumed she must have been on patrol for lost cats. Who, of course, always wound up in trees. Which totally explained why she was up in one.
Didn't explain the outfit, but he was out of taste with fashion, so maybe that's just what was 'hip'.
"I got a call about some teenagers trying to vandalize the park. Just a disturbance call, figured I'd check out the area and make sure no one else was up to something sketchy." At her other question, he couldn't help but shrug a response. "I guess the park isn't the worst place to be, but it'd be a little unsafe to think just because the park's pretty, it's safe. Bad things happen all around this city. Usually at night, early morning. Anywhere you can wind up secluded, away from where people can find you, can be dangerous. There are people out there that would try to take advantage of that."
Of course, he didn't want to scare her--even if it was a very real threat, so he decided to try and change the subject a bit. "What's up with that get-up? Doesn't look like it'd be easy to do any sort of patrolling in. You make that yourself, or...?"

Mira was probably a little more honest or maybe air headed sometimes than she realized. Which she didn't think was bad but she never really saw how that came out to other people. Which may have been why no one ever questioned her when she said things like non-human.
"Oh thats terrible!" she said quickly. The park was so beautiful she couldn't ever imagine someone wanting to hurt it. "I will say some teenagers or people can be a little crazy sometimes. I never understood why they would ever want to vandalize stuff. I mean its not even fun. Its more choas." which since she began a senshi she knew all about and choas was not something she liked dealing with. It was actually the thing she wanted to stop. Since if everything could be sweet why not right?
She intently listened to what he was telling her. They were all vaild points. She just didn't think they quiet applied to her, but she would remember that whenever she was just a human and not powered up. "I guess your right. Sometimes beauty is a little blinding. I'll have to remember that, thank you for the tips." She said as she listened to him change topics quickly. "Well i'm told its the new fashion around here. Plus I get to have an excuse to wear dessert or really sweet themed items and not just bake them. I mean after all sweets and sugar seem to bring a lot of joy which I always think people could use more of..." she said with a laugh. It wasn't the full story but overall she just loved anything sweet. Maybe thats why she was a baker.
" It's not easy but it definitely makes falls more comfy with all the fluff and si light so running is a breeze," she said with a smile before she switched the spotlight to him, "but what about your outfit? How is patrolling for you? any good stories?" she tried to not let her curiousity show but it was definitely there in her eyes. since she did wonder how different his job was from hers.Kyuseisha no Hikari tag. Jeremy debated if he really wanted to answer the girl; he chewed on the side of his cheek for a moment and then shrugged. "My outfit's city standard, Destiny City Police Officer. Patrolling's the same as it always is, just a different story every night. And I've got a ton of stories, most of them involving people being very stupid. Go watch a cop drama or something, check the internet," he waved his hand somewhat dismissively. "That's probably more enjoyable than any of my stories. I do everything you'd expected--except, also, a lot of paperwork. The good news is, never a dull night, though. Destiny City's always got something going on. Usually bad, but, if I'm doing my job right, it's a little less bad every day."
And he always tried to do the best job he could.
The truth was, he didn't want this girl thinking about the bad things he saw, so he wanted to keep it vague. She didn't seem like a bad kid, and even if he'd been played before, he wanted to trust her.
Mostly, he just wanted to make sure she stayed out of trouble--and ensure that trouble didn't find her.

Mira was interested for sure. She had never really met any police officers before. They really didn't seem much different from her. At least it didn't sound like they were. He went on Patrols just like her, which she really never thought they did. Of course they didn't have magic like she did, but to think they still were willing to do the same job was amazing.
Then again on her side of town there never seemed to be any need for the police. Though when he said they all wore the same outfit. She found that hard to believe since wouldn't it get boring then. She couldn't imagine not being able to wear her own outfit.
"Well that sounds fun all the same!"she said before replying a bit nervously, "and it might seem weird but I don't really watch to much tv. So your stories wouldn't be boring to me at all."
Which was the total truth she was so busy baking that television wasn't really on her daily schedule. Plus add patrolling to that and she was packed to the max.
"Though Eh now that paperwork sounds horrible. I have to do a lot of that and my family's bakery and no matter how many times I do it's still no fun," she said with a funny face before smiling again.
"True never a dull night for me either here, but you know the beautiful views help. Since no matter what they are always beautiful," she said happily. That's really how she thought too. No matter how bad things got out there she would come back and look at the views. Then she would see just how beautiful the world could be, and despite all the evil out there it never faulted either.Kyuseisha no Hikari So i'm sorry isn't going to cut it here. Jeremy exhaled, still not quite sure what he wanted to say. At the very least, the girl didn’t seem like she was bad, but…
What girl her age didn’t watch much television? Her outfit was suspicions, but that was almost even more suspicious.
“I guess,” he said, not nearly as gruff as he’d intended. “…You must look at the world through some pretty hopeful eyes if you can focus on how nice the view is. Lot of people just see the darkness.”
Crime rates, debris, pollution, too many dark alleyways and too many downtrodden. Too many monsters. Too many questions without answers.
“So you should keep that optimism and hope and spread that. And not be out so late, when you could get hurt. Destiny City needs people who can see the world and all it’s beauty. Maybe the world would be a better place if people looked more for the good than the bad, eh?”
chi honda I'm sorry this took me so long too ;v; But I definitely want to finish it! <3
