Sailor Cyllene groaned when Ganymede contacted her (and likely the other Jovians) regarding some bullshit about problems in space. Who the ******** would want to go to space when earth is perfectly fine and full of gravity and normalness? She fell back on her bed and closed her eyes for a few moments as she thought about her options: 1. Go to space and make other Senshi happy so that maybe if she was lucky they’d have her back when those ******** youma got all up in her grill again or 2. Ignore the ridiculous space call and enjoy her night curled up on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn and the joint that was calling her ******** opened her eyes and sat up, deciding to stay Henshined afterall. She quickly opened her window, slipped out of her St. Magdalena’s dorm room and ran off to the meeting place that Ganymede had mentioned in the brief message. When she arrived at Times Circle she spun in a few circles for whoever was supposed to be here to beam her the ******** up to space. C’monnnnnnn~ She tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for some magical space transporting senshi to arrive and take her to wherever it was that Ganymede wanted her to be.

This better be worth it.

Civilians were trapped in space and now help was needed to keep crazy chaos saturated senshi out? And they got in by walking through mirrors? Oh, that was priceless. Michael thought it would be another boring night of grading papers and planning what he would have his students do the next day, but it ended up being a little more interesting than that. Maybe he would go, just to see what all the fuss was about. Besides, if he didn’t like what he saw, he could always come back, right? How else would Ganymede have called him if he wasn’t able to go back and forth into space.

Sessrumnir made his way to the meeting point Ganymede had told him about. The silly little senshi dressed up like some kind of burlesque dancer had called him not too long ago, and his interest in this ‘Surrounding’ grew quite rapidly. Who knew there was some kind of watch tower in space?

He was still recovering from when he'd been unsuccessfully skewered by a negaverse General, of course, but to his happy surprise, he was healing much faster than he ever had before! One of the perks about being a super hero? Certainly seemed like that. He supposed that if he could make it out of a burning building while dragging a handful of other people with him after fighting off some negaverse agents dressed as senshi… he thought he had a pretty good chance of surviving this thing.

Either way, the Page of Jupiter waited by the statue he'd been told to meet at, wanting to see if this was just some kind of elaborate lie, or if the missing civilians were really stuck somewhere up in space without any way of getting home. It seemed kind of overdramatic — Civilians in space! Either someone has been watching too much of the Twilight Zone, or maybe the show was created by people who really knew about things like traveling to space.

Nah, that was just ridiculous. This stuff had to be new, with the senshi and knights. Otherwise why hadn’t he heard about it before? Obviously the media wasn’t doing a great job of getting the right story put together, so no one could trust that.

Just as long as this didn't take all night, however, as he still had classes to teach in the morning. He was so sure that his students would miss him when he didn't show up. Somehow he didn't think he could get away with the excuse of 'Sorry, I was busy fighting semi-corrupted senshi up in space while protecting a few classrooms worth of civilians.' Yeah, that would go well.

Hopefully soon, though, someone would come to get him and bring him into space. Then they could all figure out what to do and then go home and have a beer.

Eunomia was walking with an obvious strut in her gait. Oh yes.
It was exhilarating, taking up the henshin pen, if only late. She had a life, you know! Besides, civilians being trapped in space seemed so... ridiculously outrageous. She was new to this senshi thing still, and even more inexperienced then she'd like to be since she'd put a fair amount of restraint into what she was was doing about it in order not to piss off her apparent Team of Destiny. But she had yet to see the full fledged ridiculousness the universe was capable of dishing out.

Anyway, through all misadventures and destined loyalties, she had found herself here, hoping to catch up with the other Asteroids already in space, along with her unfortunately dubbed (for now) little buddy Sailor Irene. She hadn't met every member of her team, and she hadn't especially liked them, but she was warming to *********. And then there was Irene, who was apparently a team member as well, and she had taken an odd, instant liking to.

The blunette had her arm looped around the younger senshi's, almost dragging her along in her excitement. She had brought supplies, though, by now she wouldn't be surprised if the surrounding was a stockpile by now, but really, she just wanted to see SPACE.

However, once they arrived at the meeting point, she was forced to stop and wait politely, giving her a breather just in time to give the others waiting a 'hey there' salute.

Sailor Irene had been doing the senshi thing for a bit longer than Eunomia, but not so much that she had much of an edge. If anything, Eunomia was better for being tall, strong, and having an amazing kick. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Irene idolized the older senshi. Iris was still the leader, and she was very fond of Metis, and while Parthenope made her feel kind of awkward he was still pretty cool. The chibis, of course, were sweet and adorable and lots of fun. But she had a special fondness for Eunomia, and liked to stick close to her whenever possible. Aside from feeling safer around someone so capable, she also just liked her company.

But this wasn’t a usual patrol, and chatting wasn’t really on the agenda this time. This was big. Irene had heard rumors of big incidents in senshi history from her more experienced teammates, including one about a tree, and another that was a huge fight against a snow witch. And now, there was a mysterious happening that she could help with. Sixty civilians whisked off to space- to space!- and a call put out for help. Irene tingled with excitement. Finally, it was her chance to prove herself. Her time to show that she wasn’t a total weakling, that she could hold her own with the best of them. Not that fighting was on the agenda this time, and in all honesty, she was quite relieved that it wasn’t. But having a chance to demonstrate that she was useful, even if it wasn’t in a fight, was something that she had been looking forward to ever since she got accustomed to the idea of being a costumed superhero by night.

She had brought everything that she thought would be even remotely useful, crammed into an enormous backpack that she could barely lift. Rope, flashlights, tape and paper and pens, books, first aid kits, and of course, copious amounts of food. She swayed more than a little as she walked, and it was only by Eunomia dragging her along that she managed to keep any kind of forward momentum at all. When they reached the fountain, Irene nearly fell in, but managed to regain her balance. Her eyes widened as she took in all the others who had gathered, and she curtsied politely, wobbling in her heels and almost falling over again. She regained her balance by holding onto Eunomia’s arm, gave the older senshi an apologetic look, and stood as straight as she could. Any moment now, she would be taking the first significant trip of her life, and it would be to the far reaches of space!

Pasiphae arrived at the statue with her cellphone in her good hand, to verify that she had come to the correct place. Even injured and therefore more useless in her mind than normal, the Shame Senshi couldn't ignore a direct request for help--a request that was even more pertinent coming from Ganymede, a fellow Jovian. She didn't know much about what was happening with the missing civilians in space, but... would go and lend her one good hand.

She had never met a Zodiac, and she was eager to encounter a new ally in the fight against Chaos. She just wished that the meetings could have happened under nicer circumstances but... nicer circumstances seemed in shorter supply since she had been awakened as a Senshi. Her shoulder, at least, was securely held in place with her sling and didn't hurt as much since she had taken her pain killers before sneaking out of her home. Pasiphae hated to lie to her parents, to sneak around behind their backs, but... it was necessary. She couldn't shirk her duties to protect Destiny City, and if all she provided with her presence was a show of support... at least it would be something.

Harper had made the decision to follow her sailor suited "brethern" into space before she approached the statue in Destiny City. She was already transformed into Sailor Nyx with her hands still sported bandages from burns. After the disaster that was the city hall meeting, she re-checked her senshi phone messages with a new eye, a new understanding, and yet, with nothing of substance understood at all. The answers weren't here right now -- they were tossed among the stars. She had to stop herself from thinking about it too hard, or else she would begin to doubt the intelligence of barreling off away from the only planet she's ever known just because a magical cat have her a pixie stick.

Well, if not answers, then... well, something was out there, anyway.
