Fluorite's senshi sense were tingling.
Which was annoying. She could have used a night without any interruptions right about now. She had way too much to think about, too much to short through.
But alas, work waited for no-one.
It took her a bit of time to find the senshi - aura tracking was never a precise concept, even without Alunite playing scramble on the waves - but when she did, she wasn't so upset anymore.
Oh, she knew this one. She'd heard alllll about this one. That was the one senshi that had picked up on her general's fear of spiders and liked to exploit it.
Well, that was one thing Fluorite often did for Scheelite no matter the incarnation or level of power involved.
Squash spiders.

He dusted his hands off to get the grime of the last youma to try to eat him off the nice white gloves and tipped his head to the side. He could feel something odd getting closer but couldn't tell if it was something he should tangle with or run from.
It was a negaverser but, sadly, not his boy-toy. "Pitty." He sighed as he shifted so he could try to figure out where the aura was coming from.
"You can stop trying to hide. Spidy-senses and all." He was so going to have to actually read those comics eventually so he could sound slightly intelligent when saying things like that. One of the nerds at school was bound to have a few volumes.

Was that supposed to be funny ? Fluorite seemed to have missed the memo.
"Guess that radioactive spider that bit you also rotted part of your brain ?" She wasn't hiding, unless he considered standing on a roof to be an hiding tactic.
She'll argue that it wasn't.
But still, she obliged - leaping and landing about two meters away from him. If he expected her to start screaming like a little girl because OMG SPIDERS, he was in for a surprise.

"What radioactive spider? .... please don't tell me that the Negaverse is recruiting people who are -that- stupid." A radioactive spider wouldn't actually do anything to anyone (at least nothing out of the ordinary). Everyone knew that.
He turned as the girl jumped down from her perch so he could keep a better eye on her. "And resorting to petty insults. tsk tsk."
She was at least slightly easy on the eyes which was a bonus.

"Spiderman, stupid." She rolled her eyes. "Peter Parker got bitten by a radioactive spider and became Spiderman. Bonus in stupid for using s**t you know apparently nothing about."
Good thing he hadn't said his last thought out loud, because then she might have aimed for his balls. But instead, she sent one knife flying toward the senshi's shoulder.
Her aim was getting a little better, slowly, but there was no telling if she'll hit or not, especially if he saw it coming and moved.

"I know what happened to Peter Par ... s**t.." He ducked the knife but not fast enough for it to not rip through a bit of his collar. "... nice throw. I know how Spiderman worked. Problem lies in the real world and that being impossible. Therefor not stupid."
He grinned as he hopped back a few steps. He'd have to keep an eye on her and anything else sharp she managed to pick up. She didn't have a bad arm and he really didn't have any desire to end up as a pincushion.

Damn. Just barely missed.
"Well, if you want to get technical." She said. "Magic isn't supposed to exist, either."
Wouldn't he move to fight her ? Damnit, she hated it when senshi were chickenpants.
So she provoked fate a bit, and dashed toward him, brandishing her remaining knife like a dagger.

"That's different from trying to say that a spider could pass radiation poisoning onto someone by biting them. Even if it could they'd just get radiation poisoning and not start growing spider bits." Magic was different. Obviously that existed given the number of senshi running around.
His eyes widened slightly as she moved to attack him again and he vaulted back just managed to land on top of a street light. "Okay look sugarplum, I have no intention of getting into any sort of physical altercation with you. You might muss my hair."
He smirked down at her from his perch. They were always so easy to tease.

Well, that was too bad. Though now she made a mental note to go for the hair on purpose. Those two bangs would make good handles to fling him... if they didn't break first.
If he thought it was gonna be that easy, through, he was in for a surprise. She refused to take the bait, and instead she ran off.
For a second, he might have thought he had won.
That is, until she reached the building, and used her speed to propulse herself upward, leaping from the vertical surface and using her speed to gain altitude.
She shot her other knife when she was at peak, aiming staight for his leg.

He watched her head up the building but timed his escape slightly too slow and the knife sliced though his pants and left a stinging gash on his leg. He landed awkwardly but thankfully close to the knife.
Scooping it up he straightened himself out. "Kitty has claws. Really now can't you act like a civilized human being?" He hefted the knife in his hand as he tried to get her back in his line of sight. He really didn't want to waste the time or effort on trying to beat up a girl. What point was it? Someone else who was better at kicking their asses could deal with it while he dusted their ugly pets

Finally, she'd hit the damn b*****d. She had to admit that on some primal level, she loved to see them bleed. She didn't manage anything deeper than this often, but she didn't care. Her knives were not suited for deep cuts, at least not while airborne.
Through he thought he could play with her toys. Sigh. Well, if she only had dirty magic and an even dirtier tongue, she'd be jealous, too.
Oh well. A thought was all it took for the knife to vanish from his hand and to come back into hers. She was about to ask him how he could consider people who tortured others to the death as civilized human beings, but something stopped her. Frowning, a small purple crystal took form in one hand, the other raised in his direction in an attempt to dether him from approaching.
The conversation was quick. Only a few words on her side - with the only legible ones being 'Yes, General.' and the crystal was gone.
"Guess I'll have to squash you later, Spidey." She gave an over-exaggerated sigh, waving her hand dismissively, as if he was only a bug, easily crushed. "Got bigger fish to fry. Better s**t to do. Try not to die before I can find you again, uh, but that might be too much to ask for you..."
And then she was gone, teleporting to destination unknown.

"God, they really do have no manners." He looked at his now empty had before the empty space where she should have been. That crystal thing had been interesting.
He had no idea what it meant but he could bring it up to Pollux maybe he'd know. Shrugging his shoulders he poked at his leg before heading back toward his home.
No point in hunting Youma with a bum leg.
