Natalia was a very many things. She had a lot of wrong built up behind very few rights, a history of mischief and often destruction in one way or another...She was a bad, bad ghoul who lived by her own bad rules, with few exceptions and even fewer good intentions...What the gryphon said about the monster was right. And yet, she still knew how to do right by those who treated her well, even if the justice she felt she served was for her own selfish reasons.
Or at least that was how the lemur saw things.
The maul nearly swallowed her whole in what madness had ensued, even with her poised figure strutting long, limber legs across the granite flooring, she was no match when up against the crazed young students running rampant in and out of dress shops! Natalia looked beautiful, as she always did, but her confidence was lacking considerably as shoulders and hips bumped her about, knocking one thought into another before blurring them both out to let rage settle in. It.Was.Ridiculous. Why was she even bothering with that place, at that hour, on the last Frightday before Prom?
But she was there for a reason. A big reason. A mission, even, as Natalia's brows furrowed in silent agreement. She marched onward despite the cold stares as her torso took on an offensive approach in parting the sea of unfamiliar individuals. Some of them matched the glare she dished out with one of their own, where as others would scowl for a moment before moving on without another thought. It was interesting to watch just as it was to be involved, as the ghoul was not entirely used to such chaos over something so...
Trivial? What exactly was Prom, besides a dance? Natalia was fond of dancing and dances themselves, and had even attended one at Amityville! Shopping hadn't been this unbearable then...Nothing like how it was then...but, the ghoul tried to push negative thoughts out of her head to make room for her first stop.
She would leave out the nitty-gritty details to any who asked. It was terrible, truly. But as she was leaving, a slight lift to the ends of her lips hinted to--what was it, content? Satisfaction? A declaration of perseverance? And with that out of the way, she would move on to the next shop, and the next, until the day light turned a hallow black and vanished all together. She would be found scampering up to her dorm room soon after, determined to shove the items underneath the bed, pointing long white fingers at the minipets who approached curiously with sharp pointed teeth and readying claws...A warning to them, and to all the friends they had behind that closet door.
Then, just as soon as she had disappeared behind the door; the ghoul was walking briskly down the corridor, across campus, and toward the demon dorms where the lovely Whisper resided...and would hopefully be home. Pressed against her back was an object clutched in one fist, while the free hand lifted to knock twice on the familiar wood of an oh so familiar door.

Whisper had been fairly bored the whole day, busy studying and preparing for her exams. So much information to memorize, and so many distractions to get in her way. Mr. Sparkle Hearts Norris was vying for her attention, and then there was the prom. That thing had been in the back of her mind for weeks, especially the fact that she'd get to see Natalia being extremely stunning. Not that she wasn't normally, but this was special. Well, it was supposed to be. She hadn't been to a prom before, but if it was anything like the valentines day dance it would be alright.
The ghoul rolled over and stared at her ceiling. Almost on cue to her thoughts there was a knock on her door. She had hopes for who it was, but really it could be a delivery. Whisp rolled off her bed and pranced to the door. She opened it fully and her heart jumped. It was her, the only other person she wanted to see. "Hey sweetness, come on in." She stepped aside to let Natalia enter, her tail excitedly swishing back and forth.

Reassurance swept the ghoul nearly off her feet as the door swung open, a pleasantly surprised hellhound greeting her with the always adorable swish of that tail. Her own blue and white striped appendage swayed some, but not nearly in the same fashion, before settling near the ground behind her. It had to get out of the way if the ghoul was going to do this.
It was easy to hide the terror that lurked beneath the surface, the sort that wondered if Whisper would decline her offer. She was a master at deception, a long smile stretched across pale lips, brimming with true excitement. There was also the worry that things would be taken out of context, or that words said only a few days ago would be swallowed up in the ignorant bliss of being asked to the dance and taken by the one that Whisper so obviously adored. Not that Natalia did not feel the same for the demon...guh, forget about all of that! Her thoughts suddenly urged, as the seconds ticked by and the silence between them held fast.
"Good evening, my dear." the monster finally breathed out, taking the other ghouls peachy hand into one of hers and kissing the top of it gently. Nervousness kicked at the back of her head, but certainty that this would resolve things seemed to overpower that and all other stresses. Even if the hellhound seemed perfectly at ease with life and the lemur...As Whisper moved to the side and allowed entry, the monster shook her head once, letting the dark blue hairs sway with the motion before gently shouldering them back and pulling at the hand she had grabbed onto.
"Actually, I can not stay for too long." Natalia's tugs would bring Whisper out of her room and into the corridor, empty of students and teachers alike. Whether or not Whisper agreed, the flowers that the monster held were for the other ghoul specifically and so, in a fluid motion they were brought out from behind her back and extended toward the demon. "These are for you!" The same, cheeky smile squeezed her cheeks and pinched her eyes.
She continued soon after, smooth and debonair with the drop of one knee, a hand still clutching Whisper's. "I do not know if you have other suitors, Wisp, nor am I certain you even want to attend...but I would be honored to have you as my date for the dance!.." And then she waited, eager for an answer.

Whisper gave a blushing giggle when Natalia kissed her hand. She still hadn't gotten used to these romantic gestures, and she definitely loved them. She could always count and the ghoul to be so suave and sweet at the same time. However, she really was not expecting to be pulled into the hall. It wasn't an unwelcome surprise by far, so she followed the lemur's lead without hesitation.
The halls were so barren, it was a slightly strange. There was usually someone roaming about for one reason or another. But this was truly a rare moment, and Whisper had a feeling that it would be something special between her and Natalia. The flowers appeared from behind the ghoul, and Whisp's face lit up. "They're so pretty! Thank you so much."
She held them to her nose and took in a long, deep, breath. They smelt so good. Though it appeared that Natalia was not finished. She watched the girl descend to one knee. No one else could even come close to Natalia for Whisper. "Of course! How could anyone even compare to you silly!"
Whisper took back her hand and fell lightly onto the werelemur, hugging her tightly. "Of course I'll go with you, I could never say no to you."
