I've been having this problem for a long time now and was wondering if anybody knows how to fix it.

Whenever I go with a crew into Saw Mill I ALWAYS get lag ...
I've already lowered the graphics resolution as much as it lets me and the only ring animations I'm seeing are my own, yet I still can't avoid the lag ......
Have any of you gone through this in any of zOMG's zones or am I the only one?
Does anybody know how I can fix this?
Help~? sweatdrop

There's no one sure solution to lag...it's a problem alot of us face.

The two things you've already done are the best way to lower lag. But here are few more things you can try out.

Clear your catch and cookies before you start to play.
Make sure the internet is the only program you have open - get rid of all the extra internet tabs too.
Don't use fire rain. Ever.
Keep your map (pda) closed.

If all else fails, chuck your computer out a window.

Thanks for the tips, and that last one sounds particularly interesting, especially since I live on the 11th floor of a building xp xd cat_4laugh

I recently returned to Gaia because a friend alerted me that zOMG had opened again. It took me awhile to get back onto Gaia because I wasn't sure what my user name was. Also, I had no clue what my password was. Not only on Gaia but on the e-mail account I had set up for my Gaia account. It took awhile but I finally got back on. First thing I did was just walked around in zOMG and the lag was horrendous. In addition, I saw no one else. eek Lag seems to be all over now on Gaia. crying You're suggestions did nada for me. I am afraid, I love my computer too much to pitch it out a window.

Were you in the Anchor Bug or Air fluff server? If not, that's probably why you saw no one.
As for the lag.. some days are better than others.
The only thing you can do is lower the graphics and take off ring animation.

Thanks for the info. I didn't pay attention to what server I was on. I'll be sure to chose either one of those two you mentioned. I'll try to take my ring animation off if I remember how to do it. Yet, I didn't use any weapons. I just walked around. Still bums me out when I think about it.
