I am considering setting up a new clan photo contest, what would you like as the theme?
Let me know your thoughts.
Rules would be the usual, must be within gaia tos, and the picture has to be at least 300x600, and be taken by yourself.
Okay Ideas fully approved so far:
Nature Photo Contest
Animal Photo Contest
Copy the Gaia International photo contest and make our own, where we live.
Halloween
Masks
Black and White
Keep those Ideas coming.

Ideas! I like the Faceless black n white idea. or maybe sepia tone always very nice.
We could always do a halloween theme, everyone has to wear a mask. True halloween is a little ways away, but its always fun.

i like the halloween idea, we could even dress up as gaia npcs or something like that. or we could do something for labour day or mexican independence day(7/16)?

Well, all that I have are pictures of pets and wildlife, so unless we can do a nature photography contest I can't really submit anything. I'm pretty sure everyone can take a few pictures of the outdoors, even if it's just the local park. My idea would be a wildlife photo contest, where the photo has to contain animals and/or plants, or even fungi if you're into mildew and mushrooms lol.

I think we should do like a pose,of you'r Avitar doing a popular sport,or an everyday activity...Such as working,driving,cooking..etc.Could be funny trying to insert you'r Avitar into a common photo????

Im quite fond of the nature one; its always a good option, taking beautiful scenery. Perhaps even the halloween styled one, I'm always up for dressing up as a creep xD. Just pretty much something, everyone will be able to do :3

maybe we could do a dual contest? You have to take a photo of a mask that you create that you believe envisions yourself.
So basically the contest would be to make a mask, then take a picture of it on your face.
The judging would have at least two sections....best mask and best photo.....so the photo could be anything.....nature, faceless in black and white....animals....or you doing a cute pose.
As long as the mask is worked in there is no limit to the photo....then maybe having a few sections of photos.
so maybe the judging sections could be the following:
MASK WINNERS
Mask: Colored
Mask: Black and white
PHOTO WINNERS
Photo: Black and white
Photo: Colored
Photo: Sepia
Photo: Nature
Photo: Mask on
Photo: Face hidden Mask on head
Photo: Cosplay
Photo: Group
Maybe even a few other sections if they are found to be needed....
Yet with the mask Idea the photo can be anything which makes it easier for those who are only strong at certain types of photos.

how about avatar theme out in the world day biggrin Dress up your avatar that fits the real life picture and paste it there! Example: a tourist outfit out at some tourist site XP
