This battle will go from Saturday May 22, 2010 to Friday June 4, 2010. I will post when the two combatants must stop. ~Plotline~ Embelish and add to this summary as it pleases you. I give you the setting and general background info, you make up the rest such as weapons, more in depth plot, character personalities, etc. The Battle Arena is packed, as the two fighters Gryphon and Bright begin to face off. A large and hefty prize goes to the victor, and both want it, and want it bad. Neither is armed, as this is a weaponless fight, but both have certain tricks up their sleeves to turn the battle to their favor...

Gryphon casually crossed his arms and scanned the arena carefully for any of his loved ones. "Large crowd today," he thought. "Good. The more, the merrier."
He snorted proudly and laughed to himself. "Though I don't know why the rules stated 'No weapons allowed.' Bummer. I polished my spear for nothin'..."
He grinned cunningly at his opponent and slowly pointed his finger at her. "Don't keep me waitin', girlie," he mocked. "Ladies first...."

Gryphon shrugged. "Fine, suit yerself," he muttered under his breath. "Just don't say I wasn't courteous..."
He took a deep breath and began rubbing his hands forcefully together, generating perfectly round spheres of wind crackling with electricity in each hand.
"Are ya ready for this?!" He screamed as he hurled them at Bright.

Gryphon continued to hurl more spheres at her.
"Then prove it!" He growled. "I've seen more girls ferocious than you! Don't just sit around and do nothin'!" He snarled. "Attack me!"
He leaped into the air and curled both of his hands into fists, getting ready to divebomb at Bright.

"Oh your not making a move? Okay"
Bright started waving her arms around
"Yes.."
Water started appearing from her hands
"Its Getting Bigger..!"
Bright threw the huge water ball (SURF!) To Gryphon
Bright thought "If he's not making a move I will again.."

"Aw man...!" Gryphon lost his aiming and fell to the ground with a loud crash.
He pushed himself up and groaned. "Aw, great.... C'mon, man.... Pull yerself together!"
He immediantly jumped up to his feet and backed away by several meters.
Gryphon quickly summed up a thin wall of wind and pushed it against the surf, reflecting it back at Bright.
"C'mon, don't break," he whispered hopefully to himself.
"Man, this is way harder when ya don't got any weapons to help you out.... Wait 'til I get my hands on whoever made these stupid rules!"
With the time he had on his side, he summed up another wall of wind and pushed it against the surf, speeding up its pace towards Bright.

Well, this was short. However, I still have to choose a winner. The contention was tough, since both had good moves, when they actually did anything, but at least Gryphon described what his attacks were doing - simply saying "ice punch" doesn't let the opponent know what's really going on - are you actually punching them, throwing a block of ice at them, or something else? The attack was too vague. Other than that both sides were clearly evenly matched, and this was a pretty tough call. Since both were so closely matched, both will recieve prizes - Gryphon Saitos will recieve the first place, and Bright_Nights_Dark_Skys will recieve a second place prize. Congratulations! People who betted on either contestent will also recieve their gold back, doubled.
